As an electrical engineering co-op, you will perform a variety of assignments including conceptual design, engineering analysis, detailed sub-system electrical design, integration, test, and manufacturing and field support. A strong candidate will possess a broad range of engineering skills and could perform as an individual contributor or as a team lead. About This Role

Collaborates with Engineering on desired production tooling and build-plan methodology and gives input/feedback on associated design criteria; analyzes engineering design to determine manufacturability of components and assemblies
Guide and determine manufacturing processes, tooling methodology, discrete manufacturing operations and associated time standards to be used to produce new parts/assemblies from detail component fabrication thru job-level installation; authors and maintains process plans for shop floor methods/work instructions
Develops learning curve and actual hour projections for new program production incorporation; analyzes actual performance and makes necessary process improvement recommendations
Oversee process to create manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) to break engineering product structure into logical manufacturing methodology and sequence to enable MRP processes for order release, scheduling, and purchased component sourcing activities
Provides technical guidance to initiate and drive Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) on production issues related to engineering design, material, tooling, specifications and processes
Analyzes/Interprets engineering drawing, manufacturing operation sequence, tooling function, and process specifications
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

About This Role
Textron Systems is looking for an Associate Hardware Designer to support our uncrewed military product lines such as Aerosonde, Common Unmanned Surface Vessel, and Ripsaw. In this position you will be responsible for creating and checking technical content and data packages for various components, sub-assemblies and top-level assemblies, payloads, and support equipment.
As an Associate Designer, you will receive tasks from Senior Designers and Engineers. Tasking will include development of electro-mechanical devices and equipment, working with engineers on the creation and checking of engineering documentation to support production and technical data packages (concepts, layouts, drawings, 3D models, parts lists, Engineering Change Notices, (ECN’s), vendor parts, etc.) in compliance with Military, ASME, and Company standards and process guides. The applicant will be expected to quickly develop skills necessary for utilization of company tools (NX2026, SolidWorks 2020, Matrix and JIRA).
Responsibilities
- Creation of mechanical solid models from conceptual sketches, specification sheets and verbal direction
- Receive, create, and record JIRA tickets for tracking assignments
- Translation of engineering requirements to source and vendor control documentation
- Cataloging of vendor and supplier-controlled components, models, and specifications
- Release of specifications, drawings, and ECNs within the eMATRIX system
- Interface with Product engineers, Manufacturing engineers and Machinists to produce accurate product representations and incorporate design for manufacturability feedback
- Participate in design review meetings
- Perform tolerance calculations (“tolerance stacks”) of detail parts and sub-assemblies
- Development of component and subassembly drawings to ASME Y14 standards, inclusive of all planforms, sectional and isometric views, notes and GD&T
- Generation of production drawings for multiple manufacturing methods; including machining, sheet metal forming and weldments
- Generation of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams from sketches, drawings, datasheets, and verbal direction
- Produce engineering Bills of Materials in the eMATRIX system in concert with product definition release

About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Export Compliance professional to manage our expanding regulatory compliance and contractual obligations in our defense line of business. This position is responsible for Customs Compliance management including the overall coordination and execution of import and export activities and the development, implementation and maintenance of compliance programs. This position is responsible for ensuring that all import and export related activities are in compliance with regulations including but not limited to the Export Administration Regulations and the Code of Federal Regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success managing export and import compliance in an aerospace/defense environment and have an extensive knowledge of the International in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations, and Customs Regulations, and must also have excellent communication skills. The Sr. Manager of Export/Import Compliance will proactively oversee all export and import compliance matters for various businesses within Textron Systems located in Hunt valley, Maryland, Slidell, Louisiana, Wilmington, Massachusetts, Newport News, Virginia, Haslet, Texas and Goose Creek, South Carolina, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. This person will interact with employees at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the business and members of the Legal, Contracts and Compliance staff on a variety of interesting international trade compliance matters. The role requires successful management of a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
· Serve as an Empowered Official
· Provide a full range of proactive export/import compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, business development, shipping, security and other functional areas within the Company
· Developing operational solutions by solving work problems.
· Prepare, submit and track Directorate of Defense Trade Controls and Commerce license applications, Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and Warehousing Distribution Agreements
· Managing projects and programs including but not limited to internal and/or external import and/or export reviews and audits and import and export compliance metrics and dashboard reports
· Determine the applicability of ITAR exemptions, ECCNs and use of Commerce exceptions
· Making decisions with respect to the compliance of import and export transactions.
· Support and ensure compliance for GSP, NAFTA, and other duty preference programs
· Work collaboratively with in-house attorneys and outside counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
· Provide support in connection with internal/external audits and investigations
· Review and approve Foreign Visitor Notifications through appropriate systems
· Review and approve shipping requests through appropriate systems
· Track application status, maintain database of granted export approvals, satisfy record-keeping requirements, and prepare required reports
· Create, maintain and implement policies, procedures and guides to ensure overall compliance with export control regulations.
· Plan and conduct employee training
· Review export/import documents and work with Custom Brokers to expedite Customs clearance of products
· Apply U.S. Customs regulations to business transactions ensuring Customs compliance
· Facilitate/coordinate product reclassification as a result of Export Control Reform
· Review and approval of commercial invoices and shipping process and coordination of freight forwarder requirements
· Perform other compliance activities as determined by the Director of Global Trade Compliance
· Assist and mentor individual OU Export/Import Compliance personnel in resolving import regulatory and classification interpretations; act as buffer between OUs and Textron Systems Office
· Code Customs Broker import invoices for payment and review import entries for error
· Coordinate communication with Customs brokers and Customs bond underwriters.
· Focal point for alleged violations; assist in investigation and preparation of any required voluntary disclosures; coordinate review of same by the Textron Systems and Textron corporate offices

About This Role
The Textron Systems Senior Tradeshow & Events Specialist will plan and execute these activations for our comprehensive portfolio of products and domains (business lines). Reporting to the Manager of Trade Shows & Events, this position is part of Textron Systems’ Marketing & Communications team. The position is located in Hunt Valley, MD.
· In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Supporting annual trade show and event planning and budgeting
· Conducting research and analysis of proposed domestic and international trade shows and recommend an optimal mix based on strategic business requirements, customer focus, ROI and cost
· Provide on-site management for selected events (travel approx. 50%)
· Independently manage all aspects of assigned events with superior attention to detail:
· Event and attendee logistics (Show registrations and hotel room blocks)
· Show organizer deadlines
· Vendor deadlines including housing, badge passes, trade show logistics, invitations, graphics, video, shipping, etc.
· Collaborate with events team members and marketing colleagues to offer creative solutions and ideas
· Assigned budget, including processing show related invoices for payment and keeping record spending using team budget trackers
· Regular status updates
· Creating and maintaining the show plan, coordinating all planning meetings with the key stakeholders pre-show and post-show
· Lead post-event survey, measurement, analysis and continuous improvement efforts to demonstrate ROI
· Inventory of tradeshow properties, event materials and giveaways
· When attending an event, greet customers and new visitors, and act as a brand ambassador for Textron Systems to ensure consistent and professional messaging
· Manage staffing and meeting requirements on-site
· Record customer engagements and manage meeting schedule updates, flow of meetings and use of conference rooms at select events

A Sr Maintenance Mechanic, under general supervision, is required to perform any and all tasks assigned by management based on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
· Perform preventive and repair tasks related to facility structure and equipment using diagnostic devices (i.e., torque wrenches, volt / ohm meter, etc.) which are provided by the Company.
· Primary work includes troubleshooting/repair of forklifts and vehicles. Needs experience in hydraulics and engine repairs. May include engine tune-ups or other vehicle maintenance with minimal supervision. Certification a plus.
· Specific duties may also include mechanical repairs, tubing mechanic work and minor welding; light carpentry, laminating; adhesive bonding of wall panels; painting; changing of light bulbs; general electrical and mechanical tasks such as changing oil filters on equipment, etc.
· Work from Engineering drawings, sketches and written and verbal instructions.
· May direct the activities or tasks of other employees.
· Maintain records, forms and logs as required.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Summary
The Aircraft Logs & Records Technician reports to the Aircraft Maintenance Administration Manager and assists with the collection, filing, and retention of aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records. Performs data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping. Transmits and receives data via network connections, email, and other electronic means. Extracts data, formulates and interprets reports, creates archives. Performs a range of clerical and administrative tasks related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports, filing and typing, formatting documents, and updating and analyzing aircraft maintenance databases.
Job Responsibilities
• Assists with the tracking, recording, and cataloging flight log data and component history cards for all aircraft. This includes updating flight records, engine parts trackers, and maintenance tracking databases.
• Assists with the collection, filing, and retention of aircraft and engine maintenance forms and records.
• Maintains the maintenance database utilizing Maintenance Information System software.
• Updates aircraft status reports and informs proper employees of upcoming time change items and inspections.
• Supports the Maintenance and Quality Assurance departments with implementing changes to maintenance department procedures, policies, and work instructions.
Primary Objectives:
• Aircraft safety through accurate and timely reporting of aircraft status to company employees.
• Updating of company maintenance information systems database and other aircraft and engine records.
• Performing administrative functions related to aircraft maintenance.
