About This Role
This position will report to the Vice President of Business Process Controls and will interface will all levels of Textron personnel across the businesses, Textron Corporate personnel and the US Government (USG). The ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management within Textron and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other USG agencies is critical for this position. This position is expected to work independently and effectively manage staff within the BPC group.
This position will be responsible for documenting and supporting compliance with Textron processes related to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). This position will also be responsible for continuously evaluating existing processes for improvement. Additionally, this position will be responsible for resolving issues with the USG customer.
Responsibilities
· Support various Textron business units with USG audits of business systems, incurred cost submissions, forward pricing rates, and all other USG audits
· Assist Textron business units and Textron Corporate with maintaining CAS Disclosure Statements
· Continuously evaluate compliance with CAS and other regulatory requirements
· Assess any proposed accounting changes and develop cost impacts and/or General Dollar Magnitudes (GDM) to quantify potential impacts
· Support requests for information from DCAA, DCMA and other USG agencies
· Review USG audit reports and develop robust responses
· Be a liaison between the company and USG customers
· Develop strategies to resolve complex issues
· Support Direct Assist Audits of Textron USG regulated business systems, as defined in DFARS 7002, and interact with Defense Contract Audit Agency and Defense Contract Management Agency personnel and management
· Support creation and presentation of Textron position, as it relates to USG compliance, in response to various USG audits

SUMMARY
The Supplier Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance processes, implement quality control measures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of protocols and procedures to ensure products are manufactured and assembled to the highest standards. Additionally, the Senior Quality Engineer will lead process improvement activities at supplier facilities to enhance product quality for Lycoming Engines. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Six Sigma methodologies, AS9100 standards, and FAA regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads, plans, organizes, monitors, and conducts supplier audits to quality standards (AS9100) in support of supplier selection and improvement.
• Drives effective root cause analyses and corrective actions for Lycoming Engines and its customers.
• Spearheads process improvement activities at supplier facilities.
• Facilitate preventive actions and supplier process control projects that improve the quality of products delivered to Lycoming Engines.
• Compiles and analyzes data to make informed decisions to drive supplier quality improvement.
• Evaluates suppliers’ performance and implements necessary enhancements.
• Works closely with the receiving inspection team to resolve any issues with parts or paperwork from suppliers.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team for supplier review and development.
• Provides a clear vision of supplier quality strategy and processes to supplier teams.
• Conducts frequent supplier site visits to ensure compliance and foster continuous improvement.

About This Role
The Financial Analyst - BPC will report to the Director of Business Process Controls and will interface with Textron Systems and Textron Corporate personnel as well as the US Government (USG). This position is expected to work effectively while taking general direction from BPC Management.

The Aero-Thermal Engineering Analyst will be responsible for generating aerodynamic characteristics, aero-thermal heat transfer environments and thermal responses over a wide range of flight conditions, from low speeds up through hypersonic flow fields associated with flight vehicles in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. The position requires some level of expertise in the generation/use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) models, MATLAB and Ansys Fluent Computational Fluids Dynamics (CFD) software tool, as well as an interest in acquiring a working knowledge of Textron Systems legacy aero-thermal computer codes. The analysis techniques used, as well as the compiled results, will be summarized in presentations and detailed design analysis reports.
Responsibilities
- Serve as thermal analyst generating the thermal profiles for exterior/interior structures and payloads, resulting from the environments developed in the flow fields surrounding flight vehicles over a wide range of flight conditions.
- Serve as thermal analyst performing steady-state and/or transient thermal analyses that include various methods of heat transfer, such as conduction, convection, and radiation.
- Analyze and modify multi-material integration approaches for severe thermal structural stress conditions with detailed layered FEA models using isotropic through anisotropic material behavior and a variety of boundary conditions
- Utilize a combination of commercial shelf (COTS) tools (Siemens NX, Ansys Fluent, Ansys Mechanical, MATLAB) and Textron developed software tools to generate the aerodynamic, aerothermal and thermodynamic characteristics described above.
- Define recommended changes to improve the performance/efficiency of aero/thermodynamic design features.
- Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The Nuclear Hardness and Survivability (NH&S) Analyst will be supporting the analysis of flight vehicles and their ability to withstand nuclear effects in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The position requires some existing knowledge is this area as well as a strong interest in additional on the job learning.

- Perform radiation hardening analysis for component (WCCA, PBO, SGEMP, MCNP etc.)
- Conduct shielding effectiveness analysis for enclosures
- Develop testing and qualification plans for systems
- Develop test procedures, oversee tests and write test reports
