About This Role
Seeking a senior ATE Project Lead, to support ATE development in the Textron Weapon Systems Line of Business. Applicants should have a strong background in all aspects of Test Equipment development and possess a demonstrated ability in leading technical teams. Responsibilities will include designing, developing, integrating, and deploying Automated Test Equipment. The successful candidate will have intimate technical knowledge of Commercial (COTS) Instrumentation, Test Equipment electrical design, mechanical design, software design, Calibration, and Self-Test methods, etc.

Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), a division of Textron Systems, provides tactical flight training and adversary services. Textron’s extensive global reach makes for an incomparable training resource, not only for the U.S. military but also for foreign militaries across the globe. ATAC currently provides tactical flight training and adversary aggressor services for U.S. Navy, Marine and Air Force pilots and is actively pursuing many foreign programs as well.

Summary
ATAC is part of the contracted air services (CAS) market, which is poised for rapid growth over the next three years and ATAC is seeking a Capture Manager to execute established Textron pursuit / capture processes to win new business, and maintain our position as the CAS industry leader.
ATAC’s Capture Manager will report directly to the Director of Global Military Sales (GMS) within Business Operations at ATAC. This is a full-time position with the option of working from one of ATAC’s CONUS locations (Newport News (VA), Cherry Point (NC), Ft. Worth (TX), Luke AFB (AZ) or Naval Base Ventura County (CA). Travel is required 10-20% of the time.
The Capture Manager will work within ATAC’s Global Military Sales team. This team of 4-5 individuals is responsible for the smart, incremental growth of ATAC’s business worldwide. The principal line of business is supporting adversary air training.
ATAC also pursues business in the air-to-surface category, doing research and development flights, and providing fleet integrated training. ATAC has recently won a contract for Standoff Jamming Jets services, and the Capture Manager should expect to work in the special missions arena (EW, ISR, etc.), as ATAC intends to grow in this area in the future.
This opportunity is for an experienced, motivated and organized candidate to integrate best-practices to create successful Capture teams and own new pursuits across all phases of activity. The Capture Manager role reports to the Director of Global Military Sales within a matrix organizational structure and also serves as an initial program manager (PM) for the opportunity, until handed off to the execution PM.
The position requires someone who develops long-term relationships and develops long-term programs for multiple customers and contracts. 100% of our future business is generated through DOD contracts. The Capture Manager is the point man for ATAC’s relationship with the customer for future business – developing a rapport with the customer to better understand their needs, developing proposals that best solve their needs, and carrying out the initial standup activities after successful contract award.
We are looking for someone who is excited by and passionate about the opportunity to offer ATAC’s industry-leading tactical services to the best customers in the world – the US military warfighter. The successful candidate will have previous experience and a proven track record leading Capture teams in defense industry settings. Strong organization and collaboration skills are essential.
In summary, the Capture Manager will be responsible for all facets of Capture Planning and the Proposal Planning Process. The Manager should expect to also be responsible, post-award, for the successful handoff to a Program Manager responsible for the management of ATAC flight operations going forward.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement a capture planning discipline to capture new business efficiently.
- Select a compatible medium (Sharepoint, for example) to develop, review, share, and update capture plans in the company.
- Keep the capture process relevant, dynamic, flexible and interactive.
- Maintain a balance between capture planning, proposal development, and a handoff to designated PM for execution.
- Gain and maintain senior management approval and support.
- Commit the right people to the capture and proposal teams.
- Assign specific objectives, schedules and completion dates to different managers or cross-functional team members.
- Establish regular decision gate reviews (O/W/R/S) to determine whether to advance the opportunity to the next phase, or to end the pursuit.
- Establish the proposal team and work with the proposal manager to establish a cadence to ensure the proposal is complete and delivered on time.
- Schedule color team reviews to improve the product – whether it is a capture plan, strategy, proposal or underlying processes.
- Submit all proposals and capture/proposal documents on time.
- Post-award, complete all initial steps to guarantee a smooth handoff to the execution PM.
- Act as the company’s primary communicator with the government during all capture and proposal events.

About This Role
This is a multi-faceted security position, responsible for the day-to-day oversight of security compliance for both collateral and special program portfolios, as well as providing onsite support to the information security team. The incumbent will ensure that program activities adhere to 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.07, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and all other applicable government regulations.
This role requires a seasoned security professional with deep expertise across all industrial security disciplines. The incumbent must be a strategic thinker who can exercise independent judgment to manage risks, deliver security training, and align security solutions with business needs. Serve as the appointed AFSO/FSO and ACSSO, as necessary.
Conduct all required compliance inspections including annual self-inspections and security alarm response tests.
Implement classified material control systems to track the creation, disposition, and destruction of classified and/or sensitive material.
Maintain DD-254s, accreditation letters, 701/702s, DD147s, and facility access lists.
Provide security support for meetings and discussions with customers and government representatives.
Interpret program requirements and apply them consistently across the secure environments.
Maintain data compliance in DISS, NISS, JADE, SIMS and other systems of record.
Provide support to other business unit security programs as needed.
Be prepared to support off-hours program activity should the need arise.
Maintain knowledge of the security requirements for classified Information Systems.
Perform basic information system support functions, including system troubleshooting, verifying, and hardware auditing.

Responsibilities:
· Inspection and test of parts, materials, components, and systems in one or more of the following areas: Receiving, Shipping, Stores, Weld/Fabrication, Assembly, Testing, Calibration, Radiography, and Coating Inspections.
· Visually examinations by means of instruments, gauges, jigs, templates, or other measuring devices to include nondestructive test methods to insure adherence to standards, specifications, drawing, etc.
· May operate standard calibration and test equipment.
· Rejects parts, materials, assemblies, equipment, tooling, or components which do not meet requirements.
· Performs and may assist/train other inspectors in inspections, non-destructive testing, x-ray, calibration, coatings, and observations and functional testing (including electrical, mechanical, structural etc.)
· Reviews software data on vendor supplied items to determine acceptability.
· Generates Quality reports, completes Inspection Check Lists, nonconformance documents, calibration reports, x-ray, and other Quality documents/records as applicable to the specific area assigned.
· Adheres to all safety requirements, departmental instructions and TMLS Policies and Procedures.

Experienced Systems Engineer to support development of a variety of military based, complex systems.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the systems engineering efforts and supporting the development of complex military systems. Your expertise and technical knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the successful design, integration, and implementation of cutting-edge defense technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our military customers.
Conduct system modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition in support of system design. Perform system level trade analysis of different design options including estimated development and operational costs.
Develop system requirement specification for the overall system including verification plans
Generate overall system architecture to satisfy customer, functional, reliability, and safety requirements.
Address Engineering Lifecycle from development to manufacturing to fielding and support
Ensure requirements traceability, interface management, and risk analysis for the system. Coordinate and execute milestone project reviews, technical reviews, and decision tradeoff analysis.
Expertise in one or more of the following optional areas will be useful in this position:
- Use of Model Based Systems Engineering principles to develop SysML Models
- Experience with DOORS requirement management tool

The Project Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner.

About This Role
The Senior Manager, Supplier Management is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the Supplier Management function within Textron Systems. This Sr Manager leads the Sourcing Engineering and Supplier Development teams, driving strategy, supplier lifecycle excellence, and cross functional alignment to build and manage a high performing, cost effective supply base. The role oversees supplier selection, onboarding, readiness, and performance improvement while standardizing processes, rationalizing suppliers, and enabling manufacturability, DFX, prototyping, and new product development needs. It also manages upstream sourcing engineering activities, champions Supply Chain 2.0 initiatives, deploys readiness and risk tools, supports continuous improvement, and develops strong supplier relationships and pipelines—all while mentoring technical teams and ensuring seamless transition from supplier identification through production.
Responsibilities
· Lead and mentor the Manager of Sourcing Engineering and Manager of Supplier Development, fostering a culture of operational excellence and high performance.
· Support development and recruitment of a high-performing supplier management team of technical engineering and supplier management professionals
· Balance Sourcing and Supplier Development requirements workload across all Domains with a focus on high-impact, high-value solutions for the overall business
· Champion Supply Chain 2.0 initiatives covering both Establishment and Performance stages of the supplier lifecycle.
· Engage with the internal customers to support the development of business opportunities, collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Managers to provide an effective, stable, and successful roadmap for Partnerships and Suppliers for Supply Chain
· Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Strategic Sourcing, and Quality teams to meet evolving business needs.

· Drive the optimization of design for supplier manufacturability, design for supplier assembly, outsourcing design to cost & quality, and further support prototyping validation/readiness leading to a successful product roadmap for stable transition to production (TTP)
· Lead strategic initiatives to rationalize the supply base and standardize practices across the supply chain organization.
· Develop more effective and robust sourcing tools and strategies to effectively identify, establish and manage the overall performance of the supply base
· Oversee all Supplier Management (Sourcing Engineering & Supplier Development) processes
· Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide detailed cost avoidance analyses to improve the sourcing process.
· Benchmark industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance supply chain innovation and competitiveness.
