The Senior Manager of Operations will manage Manufacturing Engineering, Planning and Production Control and Logistics to execute deliveries and drive Transition-to-Production Maturation across the site. This position leads functional leaders across a variety of advanced manufacturing technologies to include electro-mechanical assembly, drone, hypersonic, advanced materials, and precision guided weapons systems.

About This Role
The Sea Systems team in Hunt Valley is seeking a motivated, self-driven, and organized Project Engineer to join our growing group, working on innovative products within the maritime robotics domain. Current focal areas include autonomous control, advanced payload integration, vision systems, and other emerging technologies to enhance our unmanned surface vehicle platforms’ capabilities.
This interdisciplinary role involves supporting the full life cycle development of our products, including new product development, product upgrades, payload design, integration and test, and fielding solutions for military and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, and working successfully within a collaborative team environment. A strong desire to take ownership of design efforts to ensure the integration of new technology into our vehicles is essential.

Production Planner
A Production Planner will work in the capacity of a Factory Planner, Material Planner, or Production Control Analyst depending on the business need. A Production Planner ensures that production requirements are met daily through analysis and reporting of production status, material supply/ demand alignment, and forecasting impacts. This individual will work with the management team to ensure that deadlines and schedules are met thereby preventing line stoppages and delays.
Responsibilities:
- Create, release, and update Discrete Jobs (DJs) based on analysis of Production needs, capacity, schedule, and sequencing, including regularly scheduled work and emergent requirements.
- Review material availability and perform necessary steps required to maintain schedule, including material transfers and purchase requisitions (PRs).
- Continuously review DJ start/stop dates and update as necessary.
- Plan, review and maintain production progress, to include supporting and facilitating production teams to meet daily and weekly production requirements.
- Create/maintain Production Control Boards for each craft.
- Recommend corrective action needed to maintain production schedule.
- Work closely with other departments, (i.e., Production, Warehouse, Supply Management) to manage the product flow to meet deadlines and prevent line stoppages and delays.
- Makes sure that required parts or assemblies reach the installation point at the proper time in the proper sequence and in sufficient quantity, in keeping with the schedule.

Working with cross-functional commodity teams, the Supplier Quality Engineer represents the quality function in the selection of new suppliers, qualification of new suppliers and improvement of existing suppliers. Activities include conducting supplier quality system and process assessments, identifying and executing of process improvement projects, facilitating quality improvement education within the supply base, trouble shooting for quality issues, and establishing continuous quality improvement as a way of life within supplier facilities.

The Procurement Category Manager owns and is responsible for planning, executing, and managing the strategy and ensuring execution of a variety of high dollar, high complexity systems, materials and services in support of assigned product lines. This role will be responsible for supplier selection, negotiation and creation of long-term agreements and management of large and complex supplier programs.
Responsibilities
• Lead several supply chain sourcing projects concurrently across assigned product categories.
• Evaluate, analyze and assess trends and advancements in materials, technologies, sources of supply and the market to establish supply solutions.
• Assist in identifying, evaluating, and selecting potential suppliers/partners for systems, materials and services.
• Ensure proper assessments and audits in conjunction with Supplier Quality are accomplished to confirm qualifications and capabilities of potential subcontractors.
• Prepares requests for proposals, obtains proposals, supports cost proposals, prepares cost or price analysis and establishes negotiation strategy.
• Negotiates all aspects of high-value, major subcontracts, or long-term agreement in collaboration with programs, Engineering and Supplier Quality including scope of work, pricing and payments, and all contract terms and conditions.
• Prepares procurement documents in accordance with appropriate company and customer requirements, including contract, statements of work, technical specifications, data requirements and special provisions as required.
• Take appropriate actions to ensure contract compliance and performance, including coordination with other departments as well as effective communications with suppliers to assure their understanding of key issues, risks, objectives, and milestones of the program.

About This Role
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments

- This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections
- This mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
- Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
- Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects

The Sr. Export/Import Compliance Analyst will proactively oversee all export compliance matters for Textron Unmanned Air Systems located in Hunt Valley, MD. S/he will interact with employees at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the business and members of the Legal, Contracts & Compliance Department staff on a variety of international trade compliance matters. The role requires successful management of a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
· Provide a full range of proactive export compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, business development, shipping, security and other functional areas within the Company
· Prepare and submit DDTC and Commerce license applications, Technical Assistance
· Assist in the research and interpretation of export compliance regulations
· Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and Warehousing Distribution Agreements
· Determine the applicability of ITAR exemptions, ECCNs and use of Commerce exceptions
· Work collaboratively with in-house attorneys and outside council to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
