The Pricing & Estimating Sr Manager is responsible for the overall department performance and growth of personnel. Will oversee staff in developing fully supported pricing proposals that will be submitted in response to government and other customer requests, manages the workload of direct reports, and coordinates pricing efforts with management and other departments. Duties include leading the Pricing & Estimating team through proposal development, pricing analysis, pricing strategy, compliance with company policies and government requirements, fact-finding, audits, negotiations, problem solving, and training of personnel. This role requires working closely with cross-functional teams such as business development, program management, contracts, finance, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing to fully understand the customer RFP and to develop a compliant pricing proposal for submittal. Must be capable of managing the department workload and deliverables against strict timelines and meeting expectations in a detail-oriented, performance-driven, business environment. Responsible for the development of the financial analysis for management reviews on all proposals, including margin analysis, risks and opportunities, and cash flow schedule. The Quality Engineer is responsible for assuring that Companies and products will adequately meet the objectives of the contracts or sales agreements by maintaining surveillance over all phases of the product's cycle from design until successful fulfillment of intended objectives.
Responsibilities
· Plans, organizes and directs the technical aspects of all types of welding processes and issues within the SSC group.
· Directly interface with the product design engineering team to insure design for process and manufacturing requirements are addressed and met.
· Establishes and documents welding processes in accordance with national and military standards/specifications.
· Develops, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of improved/enhanced processes, techniques, and safety procedures for all welding performed within the company.
· Identifies problems with and identifies the resolution of welding processes, issues, and concerns.
· Performs root cause analysis with emphasis on eliminating problems through design analysis, ergonomic issues, and machine/welding/assembly process improvements including equipment/materials purchasing requirements.
· Develops overall quality plans using the systems concept identifying in terms of the product involved, general instructions, test and sampling procedures, specific parts and assembly instructions, material disposition, records, tables, charts, and graphs required.
· Reviews Engineering and Manufacturing information such as new and revised designs, specifications and bills of materials; production, tool and test equipment drawings; production and tool plans; operation and routing sheets; production, storage, and shipping methods; and facility and floor space requirements.
· Plans the minimum quality standards, test, and inspection requirements and process controls.

About This Role:
· Support the review and risk analysis of solicitations and terms and conditions and coordinate with their supervisor.
· Participate in bid/no bid decisions and proposal review meetings.
· Review cost proposals, maintain cost and pricing data records for TINA compliance, support fact-finding, DCAA audits, and negotiations.
· Proactively administer a variety of USG DoD contracts of all types (cost reimbursement, fixed price, incentive, award fee, IDIQ, time and material, etc.) and modifications thereto.
· Prepare and coordinate business correspondence, generate required contract-related reports, and maintain accurate and complete contract files and records for the company.
· Remain actively engaged with (and serve as an integral member of) designated program teams and develop strong interfaces with Hunt Valley personnel in other functional areas.
· Participate in program reviews, monitor program performance (contract schedules, deliverables, funding, invoicing, and payments), and notify contract managers or directors of potential non-compliances or other problems that could have an adverse impact on the company.
· Identify and administer contract changes, and coordinate resolution of contract issues with your supervisors.
· Actively administer the closeout of completed contracts.
· Ensure contract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
· Ensure coordination with Legal on contract matters that may have legal significance (such as, identifying to Legal non-standard or potentially high-risk terms and conditions) prior to advising management of contractual risks, rights and obligations, and terms and conditions interpretations.

The position requires expertise in the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) models, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, and other structural analysis software. The analysis techniques used, as well as the compiled results, will be summarized in presentations and detailed design analysis reports.
Responsibilities
Serve as a structural analyst performing static and dynamic structural analyses of flight vehicles in the strategic missiles and reentry vehicle area.
Utilize a combination of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools (Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB) and Textron developed software tools to generate structural characteristics and responses.
Define recommended changes to improve the performance/efficiency of structural design features.

This role works closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to execute program planning and control activities for various customers. This includes but is not limited to customer interface, quoting, project planning, risk identification and mitigation, on-time-delivery, financial management and reporting. This is a career progression position into Program Management or Business Development.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinates all aspects of execution, including but not limited to program planning, control, delivery, and sustainment.
· Supports quoting and proposal activity for customer support requests for designated product lines, working closely with Program Managers and the Contracts team

About This Role
The Uncrewed Air and Land Systems team in Hunt Valley is seeking a motivated, self-driven, and organized Project Engineer to join our growing group, working on innovative products within the air and ground robotics domains.
This interdisciplinary role involves supporting the full life cycle development of our products, including new product development, product upgrades, payload design, integration and test, and fielding solutions for military and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, and working successfully within a collaborative team environment. A strong desire to take ownership of design efforts to ensure the integration of new technology into our vehicles is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Program Management to tightly control program schedule and budget
- Resolve schedule, resource, and technical conflicts
- Navigate and lead multidiscipline teams through unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions
- Collaborate with functional managers to organize and delegate key tasks
- Act as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
- Chair (or delegate) responsibilities to execute change control boards for your project /product
- Assess risk and approve Test Readiness Reviews
- Develop discretionary funding plans and requests outlining program needs for successful execution
- Provide recommendations to senior management regarding critical risk acceptance
