About This Role
Textron Systems Weapon Systems is looking for an experienced Engineering Drawing Checker to support a major US Air Force Program and emerging programs.
Responsibilities
To ensure the quality of the Technical Product Documentation by ensuring that all drawings are produced in accordance with both published national/international standards, and company design standards in a timely fashion in line with program release schedule.
Contribute to the identification of any identified technical shortcomings and recommend/propose solutions
Check and approve engineering drawings from the points of view of; technical completeness, clarity, conformance with standards, dimensional accuracy and the correct specification of materials and processes
Check and approve tolerance stack analyses for technical completeness and correctness
Assist Program Engineers with promoting and developing a generally higher level of engineering drawing, GD&T and tolerance stack analysis skills across the team through one-to-one mentoring and group training activities where required
Manage checking request log, quickly adjusting to changing priorities of multiple design teams
Ownership of program review checklists to track approved formatting and notifying design team of common findings

The Structural Engineering Analyst will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design of flight vehicles in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. The position requires expertise in the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) models, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, and other structural analysis software. The analysis techniques used, as well as the compiled results, will be summarized in presentations and detailed design analysis reports.
Responsibilities
Serve as a structural analyst performing static and dynamic structural analyses of flight vehicles in the strategic missiles and reentry vehicle area.
Utilize a combination of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools (Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB) and Textron developed software tools to generate structural characteristics and responses.
Define recommended changes to improve the performance/efficiency of structural design features.
Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports.
Up to 5% travel may be required.

This role works closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to execute program planning and control activities for various customers. They are required to lead cross-functional teams to propose, contract, expedite and control all assigned projects in order to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. This includes but is not limited to customer interface, quoting, project planning, risk identification and mitigation, on-time-delivery, financial management and reporting. This is a career progression position into Program Management or Business Development.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinates all aspects of execution, including but not limited to program planning, control, delivery, and sustainment.
· Supports quoting and proposal activity for customer support requests for designated product lines, working closely with Program Managers and the Contracts team
· Assists with sales forecasting, spares forecasting, and securing spares on a Company Risk Funding to anticipate and respond to customer product support requirements
· Works creatively to solve customer problems and expedite company response time
· Tracks all work activities in Salesforce and routinely runs metrics between Salesforce and ERP to ensure project profitability.
· Adheres to any required internal and government regulations to ensure compliance; looks for ways to gain efficiencies and expedite commercial contracts.

About This Role
The Uncrewed Air and Land Systems team in Hunt Valley is seeking a motivated, self-driven, and organized Project Engineer to join our growing group, working on innovative products within the air and ground robotics domains.
This interdisciplinary role involves supporting the full life cycle development of our products, including new product development, product upgrades, payload design, integration and test, and fielding solutions for military and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, and working successfully within a collaborative team environment. A strong desire to take ownership of design efforts to ensure the integration of new technology into our vehicles is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Program Management to tightly control program schedule and budget
- Resolve schedule, resource, and technical conflicts
- Navigate and lead multidiscipline teams through unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions
- Collaborate with functional managers to organize and delegate key tasks
- Act as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
- Chair (or delegate) responsibilities to execute change control boards for your project /product
- Assess risk and approve Test Readiness Reviews
- Develop discretionary funding plans and requests outlining program needs for successful execution
- Provide recommendations to senior management regarding critical risk acceptance
- Develop proposals (cost and technical) and basis of estimates for new business opportunities
- Manage and control system configurations and bills of materials
- Development and delivery of program technical CDRLs

About This Role
Under limited supervision, performs complex and diverse administrative tasks for contracts associated with government, commercial and international customers. In performing this role, the Sr. Contracts Assistant will:
• Gather data, maintain logs, and prepare reports for both internal and external customers
• Ensure contract deliverables are accurately tracked and reported
• Review incoming contract documents for accuracy and completeness, prepares and routes documents for approvals, enters approved data into the corporate database, and maintains accurate and complete contract files, databases, and records

Job Summary:
Working with cross-functional commodity teams, the Supplier Quality Engineer represents the quality function in the selection of new suppliers, qualification of new suppliers and improvement of existing suppliers. Activities include conducting supplier quality system and process assessments, identifying and executing of process improvement projects, facilitating quality improvement education within the supply base, trouble shooting for quality issues, and establishing continuous quality improvement as a way of life within supplier facilities.
Position Responsibilities:
· Conduct supplier audits to quality standards and in support of supplier selection and improvement.
· Drive effective root cause analyses and corrective action for Lycoming and its customers. Spearheads process improvement activities at supplier facilities.
· Facilitate preventative actions and supplier process control projects that improve quality of product delivered to Lycoming Engines.
