JOB SCOPE:
Assembly of experimental and prototype engines, components and auxiliaries.
Set-up and operation of experimental and prototype engines, components and accessories for performance and endurance tests.
Install, maintain and repair experimental _equipment and test facilities.
Fabricate special equipment, such as engine mounts, baffles, tubing, brackets, etc.
Measurement of engine parts, components and accessories.
Weld ferrous or light alloys.
Support of accident investigations during engine teardown.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification.
Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner.
Perform assigned work to specified quality and production standards.
Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual in a clean condition.
Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individual's immediate work area in a clean condition.

An Quality Engineer I is responsible for assuring that Company and products adequately meet the objectives of the contract or sales agreement by maintaining surveillance over all phases of the product's cycle from design to successful fulfillment of intended objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Uses operations research techniques such as cost analysis, experimentation, gaming, simulation, flow charting, information theory, and advanced mathematics in developing optimum quality plans.
· Develops overall quality plans using the systems concept identifying in terms of the product involved, general instructions, test and sampling procedures, specific parts and assembly instructions, material disposition, records, tables, charts, and graphs required.
· Acts as an advisor in all phases of statistical quality control, develops new statistical techniques and interprets significance of resulting data.
· Reviews Engineering and Manufacturing information such as new and revised designs, specifications and bills of materials; production, tool and test equipment drawings; production and tool plans; operation and routing sheets; production, storage, and shipping methods; and facility and floor space requirements.
· Acts as an advisor in his field of specialty to vendors or Textron Systems groups.
· Develops vendor certification and rating plans.
· Evaluates the quality and capability of vendors or potential vendors and approves such vendors.
· Plans the minimum quality standards, test, and inspection requirements and process controls.
· Performs complicated and difficult engineering work requiring a high degree of technical competence.
· Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
· Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
· Receives technical guidance on unusual or unprecedented problems.

About This Role
Senior System Administrators collaborate with a diverse team to support classified information systems. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments supporting the warfighters. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and develop solutions to solve infrastructure problems. Knowledge of Windows and Linux desktop and server operating systems is required. The Senior System Administrator works closely with other System Administrators and Information Security Team, and is responsible for information system patching, anti-virus updates and installations, vulnerability management, and user account management. The expectation for this role is automation of security logging and monitoring, automated patch management, and automated remediation of vulnerabilities to air gapped networks. A secondary focus of this role will be on the buildout and operation of standalone systems, networked systems, domain controlled systems, configuration of routers, switches, firewalls. Additional experience configuring geographically networked systems, installation and maintenance of Type 1 Hypervisors, virtual machine management, with a focus on network administration.
Responsibilities
• Setup and maintain systems support for software, hardware, and servers: test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to Classified Systems/Networks
• Perform application updates and installs, operating system upgrades and patching, RAID configuration & monitoring, system backups & restoration, system image creation and disk cloning
• Provide timely technical support for users and work with them to solve existing problems to include software issues, account management and miscellaneous computing requirements
• Troubleshooting to resolve technical problems on hardware, operating systems, and applications

The Weapon Systems business is seeking a Program Manager for the Wilmington, MA location. The Program Manager will own critical scope within a growing program and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Program Office.
This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure program execution that meets mission objectives. A successful candidate in this role will be action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and exhibit a team mentality.
Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
- Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of critical program scope to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner.
- Developing and presenting formal briefs to internal and external senior leaders, reviewing and editing content from other stakeholders, and leading internal dry runs prior to the event.
- Applying Earned Value (EV) techniques to monitor and control the Performance Measurement Baseline.
- Performing Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for program budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and managing variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates, Estimate at Complete analysis, and sales forecast updates.
- Zeroing in on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) critical and driving paths and creating actionable plans to ensure on-time / early completion of related tasking.
- Managing Risks & Opportunities for assigned scope.
- Interfacing with critical suppliers and Textron Systems’ internal Procurement organization to communicate program updates / changes to and from the supplier.
- Working closely with the customer’s Program Manager(s) and communicating program progress both internally and externally.

- Develop system requirement specification for the overall system including verification plans
- Generate overall system architecture to satisfy customer, functional, reliability, and safety requirements.
- Address Engineering Lifecycle from development to manufacturing to fielding and support
- Ensure requirements traceability, interface management, and risk analysis for the system. Coordinate and execute milestone project reviews, technical reviews, and decision tradeoff analysis.

Job Summary:
Textron has need for a full-time Mechanical Engineering Specialist with a minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical and specialized tooling/handling equipment design. The candidate should be comfortable as a cognizant designer of mechanical systems for military applications. The candidate should be familiar with manufacturing environments and understand the tooling and equipment needed to aid fabrication and assembly. The candidate should also be well versed in Siemens NX CAD design software and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Job Description:
- Generate high quality 2D and 3D CAD files in NX
- Prepare and update detail design drawings, assembly drawings, Indented Parts Lists primarily for military applications.
- Applies the following in the creation of technical data packages: ANSI Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing, military standards and specifications, manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to research, analyze and implement design solutions with attention to design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA).
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis calculations.

Senior Systems & Network Administrator is responsible for information system patching, anti-virus updates and installations, vulnerability management, and user account management. You will work with Cybersecurity professionals, such as ISSM, ISSO, ISSE to maintain security compliance requirements. This candidate will perform desktop support, resetting passwords, installing, network configuration and troubleshooting, upgrading applications, and respond to incidents that occur on the classified information systems.
Typical duties: Managing active directory and group policy; system backups; configuration management services; system patching; network and system monitoring; system diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair; tech refresh and upgrades; technical meetings; maintaining, configuring, and updating baseline configurations per Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
