About this Role

- Conducting supplier audits to quality standards and in support of supplier selection and improvement.
- Driving effective root cause analyses and corrective action for Lycoming and its customers. Spearheads process improvement activities at supplier facilities.
- Facilitating preventative actions and process control supplier projects that improve quality.
- Analyzing and making decisions utilizing metrics meaningful to supplier quality improvement.

About This Role
Ruggedized Test develops and produced RF and EO/IR devices that help insure that military aircraft can safely perform their missions. These devices test the communications and aircraft survivability equipment that keep the warfighter in the air.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Development of embedded firmware (microcontroller, C language) and/or FPGA?and digital?design?
- Schematic capture for circuit card designs?
- Testing and debugging of new products,?prototypes?or circuit card assemblies?
- System?integration and debugging (analysis of one or more system components and helping to solve an issue) and the creation of technical documentation for designs and testing.?

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing mechanical engineering support on both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter ?
- Opportunities that range from solid modeling, fabrication and assembly, structural design, fastening and joining, and operations of measurement tools?
- Fulfilling daily responsibilities including research and trade studies, developing mechanical design concepts, performance calculations, structural and thermal analysis, and hands-on support of testing and troubleshooting
- Work cohesively on a multi-functional team with exciting technologies and products
- Participate as an individual contributor in development of aero-electro-mechanical hardware across all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept development to lab integration and evaluation through end of life support
- Receive and execute activities in line with the broader project schedule and Senior or Principal Engineer guidance
- Perform detailed design of aeromechanical and electromechanical structures and subsystems using solid modeling, requirements analysis, trade studies, mechanical analysis including structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis, human interface design, design for cost and design for manufacturability
- Generate substantiating design and analysis documentation, create presentation materials, test plans, subcontractor statements of work, vendor control documents and installation documents

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:

- The Financial Analyst (FA) Intern conducts analysis, maintains forecasts, and provides Estimate at Completion (EACs) for Textron Systems.

- Under the direction of management, the Intern will be involved in projects relating to monthly budgets, cost projections, and sales and profit estimates

The FA Intern will be an integral part of the program team by:
- Maintain program measurement control systems
- Create and maintain standard financial reports for the finance team and other functions within the business
- Provide day-to-day support to the program finance team
- Analyze program trend data for Estimate to Complete (ETC) validity checks
- Provide real time information to management regarding EAC swings, program updates
- Other duties as assigned

About This Role
As an electrical engineering co-op, you will perform a variety of assignments including conceptual design, engineering analysis, detailed sub-system electrical design, integration, test, and manufacturing and field support. A strong candidate will possess a broad range of engineering skills and could perform as an individual contributor or as a team lead. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-functional team environment with a diverse array of exciting technologies and products that directly support our nation’s war fighters.
- Perform detailed design of electrical and electronic assemblies.
- Perform analysis, integration, and testing.
- Contribute to concept development as part of internal cross-functional design teams, including prototyping and production support.
- Prepare high-quality formal engineering documentation such as drawings, presentations, specifications, design presentations to customers, test plans, and test reports.
- Support proposal activity, providing input to cost estimates and risk assessments.

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain electro-mechanical products, systems, and processes to support new and existing simulation training devices.
- Design new component parts, assemblies, and production drawings using 3D CAD software.
- Alter and/or modify existing designs to achieve specified functional and operational performance.
- Review and evaluate existing mechanical design drawings and specifications.
- Research and analyze data, such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design modifications or new system applications.
