Responsibilities
- To ensure the quality of the Technical Product Documentation by ensuring that all drawings are produced in accordance with both published national/international standards, and company design standards in a timely fashion in line with program release schedule.
- Contribute to the identification of any identified technical shortcomings and recommend/propose solutions
- Check and approve engineering drawings from the points of view of; technical completeness, clarity, conformance with standards, dimensional accuracy and the correct specification of materials and processes
- Check and approve tolerance stack analyses for technical completeness and correctness
- Assist Program Engineers with promoting and developing a generally higher level of engineering drawing, GD&T and tolerance stack analysis skills across the team through one-to-one mentoring and group training activities where required
JOB SCOPE:
Set up and calibrate testing equipment and perform associated Non-Destructive Testing; interpret and evaluate results against applicable codes and standards. Organize and prepare necessary written reports. Maintain certifications as prescribed in the Quality Manual.

About this Role
This position will report directly to the Integrated Product Support Manager for the Shadow UAS program. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing Integrated Product Support (IPS) plans for system equipment & engineering changes.
- Interacting directly with Government logistics customers, developing written reports, creating and delivering presentations during engineering reviews, and quarterly program meetings.
- Planning, bidding, scheduling, and reporting on functional IPS activity (engineering support, provisioning, publications, training, etc.) for assigned efforts.
- Performing detailed analysis and appraisal of hardware designs to identify and document maintenance and support requirements for the Unmanned Systems.
- Determining overall support requirements in the areas of maintenance, supply, facilities, training, personnel, transportation, spares, software and computer support, test equipment, etc.
- Managing implementation planning and fielding of system updates, new hardware, and software solutions.
- Providing definition for support requirements best related to system design independently and in tandem.
- Developing & acquiring required functional and operational support, while evaluating program sustainment considerations.
- Investigating readiness and life-cycle cost (LCC) improvements in the materiel system and support systems during the operational life cycle, and repeatedly examining support requirements throughout service life of system.
Primary Purpose:
Provides technical factory service support of Lycoming's products to OEM, distributors, and individual customers through effective communications and field visits. Insures that feedback of service issues reaches the appropriate personnel for effective problem resolution. Maintains familiarity with all engine systems and models. Provides documentation to support service experience through the SIR system. Coordinates service issues with the warranty function as necessary. Recommends changes in procedures, design, equipment or suppliers based on analysis of information received through contact with customers.
Responsibilities:

· Interfaces with Account Managers, Product Managers and Sales
· Responsible for coordinating all company resources (COE, Product Engineering, Product line) in order to conduct Applications Project(s)
· Supports Sales in the identification of Customer requirements, specifications and preferences
· Develops product solutions (Product & Use recommendations) for Customer Specific Applications
· May create new Product proposals for Customer Specific Applications using company’s established features and processes
· Conducts existing Products modifications in order to fit with Customer specific applications
· Manages VA/VE initiatives (Tear Down, Line Review) as assigned
· Develops and maintains a good customer rapport and a positive image through the Customer contacts

About This Role
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
- Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
- Utilize AMS program
- Training of maintenance personnel
- Manage assigned maintenance programs
- Assist with coordination of detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs (as necessary)
- Obtain and maintain Detachment Lead qualification
- The Aircraft Mechanic troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls
- This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls
- This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections
- This mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
- Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
- Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects
- Additional responsibilities as delineated by Production Supervisor and Crew Chiefs

About This Role

The candidate should be comfortable as a cognizant designer of complex printed circuit boards utilizing micro-processors & controllers, high efficiency power supply design, analog signal conditioning, sensors, and RF components. There is also a desire that the applicant have experience designing systems to initiate ordnance under the rigor required by the safety community. Experience with FPGA design in VHDL or Verilog is a bonus. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving a secret level security clearance.
Position Description
Senior Electrical Engineering Technician for production of newly developed and legacy products in Textron Systems Electronic Systems. Responsibilities
- Performing a variety of complex technical test functions related to the support of production activities. This includes set-up, operation, modification, calibrations, and testing of digital/analog/RF and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) electronic assembly and sub-assembly processes.
- Diagnose and correct equipment and system malfunctions which fail to respond to standard corrective measures.
- Write and interpret specifications used in designing, maintaining, and calibrating electronic systems, chassis, or components.
- Prepare reports, charts and graphs as part of process documentation.
Job Summary:
Performs Quality Engineering assignments requiring independent evaluation, selection, and application of standard Quality Engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment and ingenuity in making adaptations and modifications. Work is performed on moderately complex contracts requiring independent execution within a defined set of skills or knowledge area. The Quality Engineer supports product design activities, planning for quality, production activities, data analysis and development of metrics, root cause and corrective action, and process and product improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews customer contracts on simple to moderately complex projects; responsible for requirements analysis, identification and definition.
- Performs quality planning activities including development of Quality Plan, Quality Assurance Directive and Inspection Plan documents as required by the assigned project(s).
- Interfaces with Supplier Quality Engineering to provide guidance and support for supplier issues.
- Uses knowledge of inspection tools and techniques to define inspection requirements.
- Participates in product development and design document reviews targeting DFX
- Participates in process improvement activities through monitoring, root cause investigations, auditing, failure analysis etc.
- Participates in Program Management activities appropriate to the assigned project(s).
- Participates in Contract Data Requirements List development, review and delivery to the customer as required by the assigned project(s).
- Assists in developing fabrication/build processes and standards.
- Performs Material Review Board (MRB) disposition and tracking activities.
- Interfaces with internal organizations and systems in performance of the assigned Quality Engineering functions.
- Provides status inputs to the Cost Account Manager for tasks performed. May perform CAM function for small to medium projects.
- Performs QA estimating for small to medium, less complex projects.
Proactively works as a team member with Procurement Manager, Quality Engineer, Design Engineer and others to maintain required flow of all parts while achieving continuous supply chain improvements in Quality, Delivery and Cost.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to Tactical Procurement Manager, with dotted-line accountability to Procurement Team Manager. Interfaces internally with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Finance and Customer Service departments. Maintains regular contact with suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in the development of annual purchase agreements with suppliers.
- Develops projected annual requirements for assigned part families.
- Develops and communicates purchased parts schedules to Lycoming’s suppliers consistent with standard work.
- Responsible for planning and rescheduling of assigned parts via Oracle MRP system.
- Creates and transmits purchase orders/releases to suppliers.
- Plans, schedules, and expedites assigned purchased parts to ensure timely availability of quality components.
- Negotiates pricing as required with oversight from the Procurement manager.
- Coordinates with suppliers to resolve quality and delivery issues.
- Interfaces with Finance to resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
- Responsible for planning and scheduling of parts to achieve inventory targets.
- Capable of managing all of Lycoming’s suppliers and part families while utilizing all available planning techniques.
- Prepares RFWs and obtains quotations from assigned or potential suppliers.
- Identifies potential problems proactively, communicates same to Procurement manager and other team members and recommends and implements solutions.
- Monitors supplier performance and works with the Procurement manager and other team members to develop corrective action plans and proactively resolve problems.
- Capable of providing short-term back-up coverage for the Tactical Procurement Manager.
Provides guidance and training to new buyers

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for serving as maintenance instructors for the Shadow UAS are required to provide flight, classroom, and hands on instruction in support of the US Army’s mission at various locations throughout the United States.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead classroom instruction for up to 30 students on new system upgrades and changes.
- Instruct maintenance tasks on Shadow 200 Unmanned Aircraft System.
- Support live flight operations as an instructor. This includes CE and UT qualification training, Delta training, system upgrades, and any additional items as deemed necessary IAW the training curriculum.
- Maintains records of training activities, student progress, and qualification information.
- Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
- May provide leadership and evaluation for other instructors, as assigned.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and system procedures.
- Instruct and perform advanced troubleshooting of shadow UAS equipment.
- Ability to work with engineering team in order to improve system courseware and capabilities.
