In this position, you will serve as key partner to human resources personnel and leaders on employment and labor law matters.
As part of the Textron Systems Legal Department, you will be part of a dedicated and diverse team of in-house attorneys and professionals. You will work closely with business stakeholders to mitigate risk, anticipate and favorably resolve employment issues, and help ensure compliance with global, federal and local employment and labor laws. In this position, you will report to Textron System’s Deputy General Counsel and work closely with numerous business leaders and personnel across the Company.
As our Assistant General Counsel, you will:
• Serve as a trusted legal advisor on labor and employment matters with a high degree of integrity.
• Provide timely, practical, and business-oriented legal advice on a range of labor and employment issues, including hiring, performance management, employee relations, personnel policies and handbooks, leaves of absence and accommodations, discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, internal investigations, discipline and termination, compensation, benefits, and privacy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement a variety of workplace policies, employee training and employment-related templates and agreements.
• Investigate and respond to claims, demand letters, administrative complaints, audits, and other employment-related inquiries.
• Represent the Company in investigations and mediations before administrative agencies including the EEOC, DOL, NLRB, and equivalent state bodies.
• Manage employment related litigation, including responding to attorney demand letters, effectively negotiating resolution of claims, and making recommendations to Human Resources and senior management on corrective action.
• Critically supervise and manage outside counsel to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service through developing and monitoring budgets and oversight of outside counsel on employment litigation matters.
• Support the human resources benefits team in review and response to appeals under qualified and non-qualified benefit plans.
• Conduct/oversee internal audits to support compliance, such as classification reviews and management of leaves of absence.
• Collaborate with local outside counsel to advise Human Resources and management on international employment issues.
• Advise and assist Human Resources and management to ensure compliance with U.S. federal executive orders, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations, the Service Contract Act, and other Government Contract related obligations.
• Work collaboratively with other Legal Department attorneys and teams as needed.

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Read and interpret basic drawings and weld symbols
- Passing Textron’s aluminum MIG (GMAW) weld test procedure
- Perform as a productive working team member that meets daily goals set by the supervisor.
- MIG welding of aluminum materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
- Use of power tools (gougers, circular saws, grinders) in a safe, compliant manor
- Operate cranes and forklifts
- Assist supervisor to maintain control of department equipment and its maintenance.
- May instruct and mentor less-skilled welders, as assigned
- Works with a sense of urgency, efficiency and productive out put
- Maintains safe work practices and adheres to safety policies and procedures
- Ensure correct construction procedures are adhered to
- Ability to work shifts or overtime as required, must be flexible
- Maintain general housekeeping, keep materials and equipment stowed in an orderly manner
- Monitors working environment for compliance with quality, safety, environmental and health regulations and report deficiencies to supervisor
- Demonstrated ability to weld fillets for material thicknesses 4mm- 10mm
- Demonstrated ability to weld frame wraps and terminations with minimal blending required
- Demonstrated ability to weld T-Bar wraps and terminations with minimal blending required.
- Demonstrated ability to weld into corners / vertical intersections with minimal blending required
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and correct basic weld pick up, with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to weld groove/butt joints with satisfactory radiographic testing (NDT)
- Demonstrated ability to back step and sequence weld based upon provided information and/or good welding practices

Responsibilities
· To ensure the quality of the Technical Product Documentation by ensuring that all drawings are produced in accordance with both published national/international standards, and company design standards in a timely fashion in line with program release schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Support program management and engineering staff in coordinating daily activities, team communications, and other functionally specific initiatives.
• Utilizing various systems and tools to support project activities such as meeting set ups, data collection, and status updates.
• Maintain program and department metrics through data collection and analysis from various systems.
• Scheduling, organizing, and attending meetings to include setting up conference rooms, documenting notes, and coordinating follow-up actions.
• Supporting new and existing employees with IT requests, facilities issues, and office space requirements.
• Procure various items to support the team (i.e. tools, hardware, supplies, test equipment, etc.).

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Textron Systems is looking for a team player to perform in process inspections and inspection of incoming material in accordance with drawing/spec requirements. Analyze complex drawings and interpret geometric dimensional tolerancing and special process requirements in order to determine conformance of a part.
JOB DUTIES:
· Familiarization with 3D models for Quality Inspection requirements
· Applies established inspection procedures utilizing a variety inspection/testing tools
· Complete first article inspections (FAI) per AS9102 Standard and internal procedures
· Act as company liaison for multiple Inspection functions within the facility.
· Utilize coordinate measuring machine programs to inspect product
· Ability to positively and effectively communicate clearly with team members in a training environment.
· Ability to work independently and follow through with completing daily tasks.
· Perform Material Review Board (MRB) roles including documenting the nonconformance, working with internal parties to disposition the nonconformance, and follow the nonconformance through the MRB process.
· Recommend and assist in changes to procedures, processes, and drawings to improve team and company efficiency and quality of product.
· Review product inspection results and work with Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve product issues.
· Document and retain required Quality records and results.

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, the Financial Analyst will be a key financial business partner in supporting Textron Systems ATAC Operating unit with timely analysis, financial modeling and reporting. The analyst will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for analysis of programs financials, Research & Development budgeting, and Pricing & Estimating that are used by senior leaders to manage the business daily. They will be able to use historical data and current understanding to identify financial trends and patterns as they relate to financial forecast.
Responsibilities
· Support ATAC programs with timely analysis, financial modeling and recommendations for decision making.
· Responsible for establishing and maintaining Corporate Financial Reports, Program Status Reports, and Key Performances Indicators
· Ensure program financials are accurate and complete and are in accordance with SOX and internal corporate controls
· Use analysis to identify and investigate program issues and advise on appropriate course of action
· Support new business pricing and estimating activities
· Provide real time program financial status to leadership as well as Ad-hoc financial analysis
· Present financial data during monthly and quarterly reviews to an audience consisting of front line and executive level management.
