The Senior Manager, Supplier Management is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the Supplier Management function within Textron Systems. This Sr Manager leads the Sourcing Engineering and Supplier Development teams, driving strategy, supplier lifecycle excellence, and cross functional alignment to build and manage a high performing, cost effective supply base. The role oversees supplier selection, onboarding, readiness, and performance improvement while standardizing processes, rationalizing suppliers, and enabling manufacturability, DFX, prototyping, and new product development needs. About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Sourcing Engineer focused on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly as part of the Strategic Outsourcing Strategy. The focus will be to lead engagement with the internal customers to support the development of business opportunities, collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Managers to provide an effective, stable, and successful roadmap for Partnerships and Suppliers for Supply Chain. This individual will be responsible for providing Key engineering input (technical producibility/DFX, evaluations, assessments, etc.) to support new product development with internal customers, building and acting as the critical conduit to set up the supply base and lead complex custom supplier development projects to mature the manufacturing readiness.
The Principle Sourcing Engineer will identify, build, manage and maintain capable supplier sources, and mentor more junior members of the team to grow the team network and knowledge.
They will drive the optimization of design for supplier manufacturability, design for supplier assembly, outsourcing design to cost & quality, and further support prototyping validation/readiness leading to a successful product roadmap for stable transition to production.
Responsibilities will also include the collaboration and integration of the outsourcing strategy with other roles within the Supply Chain and Operations Team and help grow appreciation and awareness of Sourcing Engineering value in the establishment of suppliers.
The Principal Sourcing Engineer will champion other upstream activities, such as Bill of Material (BOM) development, Plan for every Part initiative (PFEP), inclusion of emerging manufacturing technologies, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), cost validation & estimating, and support to configuration control with Engineering.
The Principal Sourcing Engineer will work closely with Design Engineering Team/IPT, Engineering Prototype and Test Teams, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to complete initial prototype builds, analyze results, and propose refinement of engineering designs and be the main technical focal for supplier management.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with Sourcing Management and cross-functional stakeholders -Business Development, Programs, Engineering, and Manufacturing- to provide technical outsourcing recommendations that will support the maturation of business opportunities and program development goals.

· Validate product requirements for technical capability and manufacturability, own supplier-facing DFMEA and PFMEA activities, and drive risk-reduction measures that improve overall program cost, schedule, and quality metrics.

About This Role
The Quality Engineer supports aerospace and defense programs by applying Quality Engineering principles, materials expertise, and disciplined systems thinking within an AS9100-regulated environment. This role contributes to mission-critical product development and production readiness through quality planning, risk mitigation, root cause and corrective action, data-driven decision making, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and contract requirements. Assignments involve moderately complex defense and aerospace hardware requiring independent execution and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities:
• Review customer contracts and technical data packages (TDPs) for simple to moderately complex aerospace/defense programs; perform requirements analysis and documentation using compliance matrices.
• Develop Quality Plans, QA Directives, Inspection Plans, and other contractually required quality artifacts aligned with AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineering to address supplier escapes, source inspection, and flow-down of requirements to the supply base.
• Maintain direct communication with customer Quality Assurance representatives, including DCMA, prime contractors, or government quality contacts as applicable.
• Define inspection and test requirements using industry-standard tools, techniques, and acceptance criteria appropriate for aerospace hardware.
• Participate in engineering design reviews focusing on Design for Manufacturability, Design for Inspection, Design for Reliability, and overall DFX compliance.
• Support or lead root cause investigations (5-Why, fishbone, 8D, DMAIC) to address nonconformances, flight hardware deviations, or field returns.
• Perform MRB activities including nonconformance evaluation, disposition (permitted by delegation), and defect trend analysis.
• Contribute to Program Management reviews, risk assessments, and Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks associated with project quality elements.
• Support Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) development, verification, and on-time delivery of quality-related deliverables (QAPs, FAI reports, control plans, audit results).
• Assist in defining and improving fabrication processes, special processes (e.g., heat treat, coatings, bonding), and build standards for aerospace materials and assemblies.
• Interface with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and configuration management to ensure compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
• Provide status updates to the Cost Account Manager and may perform CAM duties for small or mid-level work packages.

About This Role
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Responsibilities
· Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
· Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
· Utilize AMS program
· Training of maintenance personnel
· Manage assigned maintenance programs

· Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
· Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects
