About the Position: The Global Military Sales and Strategy (GMSS) senior manager will lead development, engagement and shaping of domestic & international military business opportunities. They will ensure that a continuous program of sales research and market analysis are maintained and will lead the capture process, with a primary focus on Unmanned and Autonomous Surface vehicle programs.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying, qualifying, vetting, shaping, and developing Sea Domain business opportunities that directly support Textron Systems AOP/LRP goals and objectives
- Develop and execute engagement plans for domestic & international military pursuits.
- Provide leadership and development over capture process during gate reviews including O-Gate and W-Gate reviews on assigned orders/pursuits/opportunities (internal)
- Manage key Sea campaigns, opportunities and capture on orders and identify key players needed in the capture management process for successful execution
- Responsible for executing on orders as defined by program/product line
- Represent Textron/Textron Systems at key trade shows and events (domestic and international)
- Manage customer relationships and lead key campaigns; keep open line of communication before, during and after a sale with customers
- Collaborate with Business and Engineering leaders to chart strategic product and technology roadmaps
- Collaborate with other Textron and Industry Businesses to generate sales opportunities.

Digital Design Engineer III
Textron System, Electronic Systems is seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer to develop solutions for a variety of technical challenges. The Digital Design Engineer will engage in a variety of technical projects including Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware and firmware design, and embedded microcontroller design and development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing Digital Signal Processing code for FPGAs (Altera/Intel or Xilinx/AMD).
- Developing code for embedded microcontrollers (Atmel, Microchip, etc).
- Architecture planning and system level design
- Solving complex problems that may require research and analysis of alternatives involving many factors.
- Working independently to determine and develop innovative solutions.
- Contributing to and/or ensures the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
- Writing interface control documents, specifications, and test procedures for designs.
- Reporting status including schedule progress and problems/issues.
- Working closely with hardware in a lab setting, and debugging using lab equipment (e.g. Spectrum Analyzer, Digital Oscilloscope).
You will be part of highly skilled team and need to interface with other team members, including those of other engineering disciplines. Additional job duties could include systems level requirements analysis, design, and proposal input. You may also be involved in system testing for products you’re a part of and aid with fielding and/or training of the customer.
Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate with the program team on review and risk analysis of solicitations and terms and conditions.
• Assist in the review of subcontracts prior to approval to ensure all agreements are incorporated.
• Serve as primary interface with customer for funding and subcontract mods.
• Support both internal and external audit teams, including Accounting, Textron Audit Services, DCMA and DCAA.
• Review cost proposals, maintain cost and pricing data records for TINA compliance, support fact-finding and DCAA audits, and support negotiations.
• Experience with Strategic Sourcing and negotiating various long term and subcontract types and associated terms, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost Plus (CP) using Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Definite Delivery/Definite Quantity (DDDQ) and Requirements contracts
• Prepare and coordinate business correspondence, generate required subcontract-related reports, and maintain accurate and complete subcontract files and records for the company.
• Participate in program reviews, monitor program performance (schedules, deliverables, funding, invoicing, and payments), and notify program managers or directors of potential non-compliances or other problems that could have an adverse impact on the company.
• Identify and administer subcontract changes and coordinate resolution of subcontract issues.
• Actively administer the closeout of completed subcontracts.
• Ensure subcontract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
• Perform other subcontract-related duties as assigned.

About This Role

Reporting to the Sr Quality Manager, the Principal Supplier Quality Engineer will partner with assigned suppliers to provide technical leadership, improve quality performance and achieve Textron Systems supply chain objectives in support of customer commitments and on-time delivery.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage risk associated with critical suppliers by developing and executing mitigation strategies.
• Qualify new sources by performing Quality Management System assessments and special process surveys.
• Understand customer requirements and work cross-functionally to build quality into products, processes and procedures.
• Conduct Technical Interchange Meetings with suppliers prior to start of production to ensure requirements are understood and can be met without limitation.
• Facilitate continuous improvement of supplier capabilities and product performance.
• Solicit supplier inputs into product design, considering design for manufacturability, cost, reliability, parts availability and more.
• Perform process reviews, first article reviews, and witness testing at supplier facilities ensuring procured product meets drawings, specifications, processes and statement of work requirements.

• Analyze data to identify trends, determine root cause and take corrective action with suppliers to ensure performance at expected quality levels.
