About This Role
The Sea Systems business is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist for the Slidell, LA location. The Subcontracts Specialist will own a subset of acquisitions for a major defense program, under the supervisor of a Sr. Supply Chain Manager, and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Sea Systems SCM & Program Office.
This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure supplier program execution that meets mission objectives. A successful candidate in this role will be action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and exhibit a team mentality.
Responsibilities
· Partnering with Program Mgt to consolidate subcontractor contractual requirements and specifications into accurate comprehensive requests for proposal (RFP) prior to the issuance of RFPs to prospective subcontractors.
· Examining bid responses and initiating cost and pricing analysis using results thereof combined with program objectives to develop negotiation strategy and negotiate price, terms and work scope.
· Negotiating, placing, and managing of complex, high dollar subcontracts within a government acquisition environment, including both cost and fixed price material and service type subcontracts.

The Pricing & Estimating Sr Manager is responsible for the overall department performance and growth of personnel. Will oversee staff in developing fully supported pricing proposals that will be submitted in response to government and other customer requests, manages the workload of direct reports, and coordinates pricing efforts with management and other departments. Duties include leading the Pricing & Estimating team through proposal development, pricing analysis, pricing strategy, compliance with company policies and government requirements, fact-finding, audits, negotiations, problem solving, and training of personnel. About This Role
Textron Systems, leading developers of high-performance Unmanned Systems, a proven partner for both military and commercial applications, is offering a full-time opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to support our growing family of unmanned naval products. Our teams are engaged in multiple cutting-edge development programs for domestic and international programs. This position provides an opportunity to travel, execute experimental military hardware testing, and develop new skills. This position reports to the Unmanned Surface Vessel Lab Manager.
The strong candidate will have hands-on experience in the test, integration, and maintenance of mechanical systems and will be ready to work in a fast-paced environment. The position also includes supporting on-water operations of surface systems, serving as a small craft operator, safety lookout, or support crew members.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Read assembly documentation (i.e. Work Instructions, Drawings etc.), parts lists, and diagrams to assemble and install a wide variety of components.
- Operate test equipment.
- Assemble and troubleshoot drive train components and hydraulic actuation systems.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Sourcing Engineer with a focus on Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) to support its Strategic Outsourcing Strategy. This role partners with internal customers to identify and develop business opportunities while collaborating with Strategic Sourcing Managers to build effective, stable supplier partnerships and roadmaps.
The Senior Sourcing Engineer will serve as the primary technical liaison between engineering and supply chain teams. The role includes providing engineering input on technical producibility and Design for X (DFX) principles to support new product development. It also involves identifying, qualifying, and managing capable suppliers, as well as driving design optimization for supplier manufacturability, assembly, cost, and quality. Additionally, the Senior Sourcing Engineer will support prototyping validation and manufacturing readiness activities to enable a stable transition to production.
In addition, the Senior Sourcing Engineer will contribute to upstream supply chain activities, including Bill of Materials (BOM) development, the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) initiative, integration of emerging manufacturing technologies, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) practices, and cost validation and estimating.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Sourcing Engineer focused on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly as part of the Strategic Outsourcing Strategy. The Sea Systems team is seeking highly qualified candidates to function as an experienced Systems Engineer supporting our unmanned surface vessel product development initiatives and our contract programs. The strong candidate will possess a broad knowledge base in multiple engineering disciplines and be able to execute in both R&D and production environments. · Coordinate with Quality Engineering inspection requirements of suppliers and execute inspection requirements such as first article inspection, managing nonconforming materials, troubleshooting, processing material review board actions, etc.
· Lead management of critical supplier issues to improve overall execution.
· Lead risk assessments via FMEA/Risk Cubes, RCCA, countermeasures and supplier scorecard reviews.
· Perform data analysis and issue reports on supplier performance to ensure suppliers meet and maintain expected performance levels inclusive of quality and delivery.
