JOB SCOPE:
· Perform all operations within ac continuous flow-manufacturing cell, operating cutting saw, measuring, utilizing the skills and ability to set up and run all machines, as well as test equipment including burring within the cell, measure and record inspection results using electronic gauging and all other inspection equipment for data collection, and perform penetrant inspection for final acceptance or rejection of product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Employee(s) will be transferred to other positions during slack periods and/or decreased workload.
· Must be able to perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner with regard to self and others working in the cell.
· Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individuals work area in a clean condition.
· Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification.
· Set-up and operate machining centers, related equipment and inspection systems (including NDI training) to produce product within company processes and procedures.
· Perform assigned work to specified process including in statistical process control to ensure final product quality.
· Be familiar with and work within applicable company procedures and work instructions relative to job function.
· Communicate on a timely basis to all relevant personnel any issues found during the daily processing of product and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
· Train or be trained as needed.
· Record keeping as required.
· Works with others across payrolls, functions, and shifts to solve problems in a timely manner (Real Time).
· Properly maintain cell/equipment and to perform all required system checks in accordance with applicable processing procedures and/or work instructions.
· Capable to work unsupervised in their area.
· Ensure “legacy” knowledge transfer.
· All other duties as assigned.

About This Role
This role is in Textron System’s Land Systems - Crewed Land business area.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, testing and support of future Family of vehicles for Land systems, as well as integration of vehicular components, sub systems, in conjunction with new design, product improvement, field and production problem resolution.
- Creating electrical schematics, harnessing design, and drawings in CAD system such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Performing engineering calculations, writing specifications, formulating sketches, testing criteria, failure analysis, and cost estimates.
- Providing technical support to both internal and external customers for technical data package delivery.
- Supporting Prototype build, troubleshooting and documentation as required.
- Understanding customer requirements, and provide design solutions
- Familiarity with Military standard and specifications then incorporating them into the system design
- Interest in automotive design related field

About This Role

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Read and interpret basic drawings and weld symbols
- Passing Textron’s aluminum MIG (GMAW) weld test procedure
- Perform as a productive working team member that meets daily goals set by the supervisor.
- MIG welding of aluminum materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
- Use of power tools (gougers, circular saws, grinders) in a safe, compliant manor
- Operate cranes and forklifts
- Assist supervisor to maintain control of department equipment and its maintenance.
- May instruct and mentor less-skilled welders, as assigned
- Works with a sense of urgency, efficiency and productive out put
- Maintains safe work practices and adheres to safety policies and procedures
- Ensure correct construction procedures are adhered to
- Ability to work shifts or overtime as required, must be flexible
- Maintain general housekeeping, keep materials and equipment stowed in an orderly manner
- Monitors working environment for compliance with quality, safety, environmental and health regulations and report deficiencies to supervisor
- Demonstrated ability to weld fillets for material thicknesses 4mm- 10mm
- Demonstrated ability to weld frame wraps and terminations with minimal blending required
- Demonstrated ability to weld T-Bar wraps and terminations with minimal blending required.
- Demonstrated ability to weld into corners / vertical intersections with minimal blending required
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and correct basic weld pick up, with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to weld groove/butt joints with satisfactory radiographic testing (NDT)
- Demonstrated ability to back step and sequence weld based upon provided information and/or good welding practices

A Material Handler, with little or no supervision, performs phases of Warehousing and Inventory Control duties as necessary to complete job assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Job duties include but are not limited to coordinating material requests that may come via e-mail, phone call, electronic request systems or verbal instruction from all facilities and performing or dispatching employees to pull the material required.
- Perform data entry work using Microsoft Office products, as required
- Perform reviews, research, and transactions in the electronic inventory system (Oracle)

About This Role
An Associate Maintenance Mechanic, under general supervision, performs any and all tasks assigned by management based on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
•Operating Forklift to move equipment and other material as required
•Operating forklift to move consumable materials and waste from/to production as required.
•Perform daily fueling operations for yard equipment
•Gas bottle handing and distribution as directed
•Breaking down crates and other packing material for production as required
•Distribution of printer paper and bottled water to administrative office areas
•Bagging and distributing ice bags throughout the facility.
•Other duties as required to include Light carpentry, laminating, painting, light plumbing, changing of light bulbs, changing oil filters on equipment, etc.
•Entry Level mechanical duties
•Maintains work order records, forms and logs as required.
•Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.
