A?Welding Engineer?develops, manages, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of a sound welding program and processes through improved weld processes, design specification review, techniques, inspections, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
Establish and document welding processes in accordance with national and military standards and/or specifications.
Review welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
Develops and executes weld qualification procedures.
Creates, submits, and manages WPS(s).

About This Role
Textron Systems is currently seeking a Contracts Business Manager with ten or more years of contract experience. In addition to providing contract leadership, advice and support to management and programs teams, the candidate will be responsible for all aspects of contract management throughout the entire contracting process, from pre-proposal activities through contract closeout. In performing this role, the Contracts Business Manager will:
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer interface and official point of contact for all contractual matters during all phases of contract formation and administration.
- Reviews terms and conditions to identify and recommend mitigation strategies for potential areas of risk, to include acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas.
- Participate in bid/no bid decisions, provide guidance on proposal development strategies, participate in proposal color reviews, maintain cost or pricing data records for TINA compliance, support fact-finding and agency audits, and lead negotiation teams.
- Proactively manage and administer a variety of contracts (government/commercial, domestic/international) of all types (cost reimbursement, fixed price, incentive, GSA, IDIQ, T&M, etc.) and modifications thereto; prepare and coordinate business correspondence; generate required contract related reports; and maintain accurate and complete contract files and records for the company.
- Remain actively engaged with, and serve as an integral member of, assigned management and program teams. Develop strong interfaces with personnel in other functional areas and maintain close contact with appropriate levels of management as necessary to be effective. Participate in program reviews, monitor program performance (contract schedules, deliverables, funding, invoicing and payments), and notify program leaders and management of potential non-compliances or other problems that could have an adverse impact on the company. Recommend to program leaders and management contract solutions and strategies that will favorably impact the company.
- Identify, manage and negotiate contract changes, and coordinate resolution of contract issues internally and externally. Work with program leaders and management to ensure that an effective contract change management process is in place. Provide advice and guidance regarding conflict disputes and actively participate in resolution of these matters.
- Actively manage and oversee the process of closing out completed contracts.
- Ensure contract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedure, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
- Serve as an integral member of the Textron Systems Legal and Contracts organization and forge a close working relationship with Legal department members. Ensure coordination with Legal on contract matters that may have legal significance prior to advising management of contractual risks, rights and obligations, and terms and conditions interpretations.
- Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to remain abreast of industry trends and changes to contracting laws, regulations and practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, applying Six Sigma principles and concepts where appropriate.

About This Role
The Manager, Tactical Procurement is responsible for the onsite leadership, guidance, and management of a team of Tactical Buyers responsible for, executing and managing a range of Material Acquisition efforts ranging from major material purchases from suppliers for a variety of high dollar, high complexity systems, materials and services, to tactical commodity purchases for the Textron Systems Enterprise. The role will also provide oversight, workload tasking and performance monitoring of Tactical buyers located in Wilmington, MA, Slidell, LA, and Goose Creek, SC.
This position closely interacts with all levels of staff and management, including executive leadership, and reports to the Director, Supply Chain. The Manager will be responsible for representing Supply Chain to program, engineering, and leadership teams and must work collaboratively across all functions to support product and business domains.

· Lead, guide and train a team responsible for commodity and significant material tactical purchases.
· Responsible for managing overall tactical procurement, quality, delivery schedule and cost performance of supply base.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership and delivery support for the development, integration, test, and production of complex mechanical hardware. This role will work closely with mechanical design engineers, systems engineers, manufacturing, test, suppliers, and program leadership to ensure mechanical hardware is delivered on schedule and meets all technical, quality, and performance requirements. Responsibilities
- Participating in resolving non-conformances related to mechanical parts and assemblies that develop during builds in preparation for hardware delivery to our program customer.
- Provide day-to-day engineering supporting the integration and delivery of mechanical parts and aeroshell flight hardware to our program customer.
- Lead or support technical investigations of hardware failures, discrepancies, and nonconformances
- Coordinate with mechanical designers, systems engineers, manufacturing, test engineering, quality, suppliers, and program management to resolve hardware issues.
- Provide engineering disposition and technical direction for hardware discrepancies encountered during manufacturing and test.

Job Summary
The Textron Systems – Weapons team is seeking a Configuration Management Manager to lead configuration management activities across multiple programs at our Wilmington, MA location. The successful candidate will guide and support our Program & Engineering teams in applying industry standard configuration management practices throughout the product lifecycle.
In this role, you will lead a team of CM analysts, oversee CM processes and tools across the business, and ensure compliance with internal, industry, and Government standards. You will serve as the primary authority for configuration identification, baseline management, change control, status accounting, and configuration audits to support program execution and product integrity.
About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Lead and manage CM activities across all programs, ensuring cost, quality, and schedule objectives are supported.
Oversee configuration identification, baseline management, change control, status accounting, and configuration audits in accordance with AS9100D, MIL-HDBK-61A, and EIA-649.
Interpret complex specifications, contractual data, and hardware and software requirements, and provide expert guidance to program teams.
Serve as the owner of CCB processes across the business; delegate chair responsibilities as needed while ensuring consistent and compliant execution.
Coordinate and participate in Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), ensuring delivered products meet approved baseline requirements; assemble audit data packages and manage actions.
Oversee documentation creation and change activities to ensure proper application of PLM/ERP requirements during release.
Manage the preparation, assembly, and review of periodic Technical Data Package (TDP) deliveries to Government and customer entities.
Support updates and improvements to configuration management policies and procedures in alignment with evolving standards and program needs.
Ensure compliance with internal quality system requirements and participate in internal and external audits as required.
Oversee CM tools and systems, ensuring data integrity, effective workflows, and continuous improvement of CM processes.
Manage, mentor, and develop configuration management team members; provide leadership, direction, and performance oversight.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and external customers to ensure seamless configuration control throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure that contractual delivery requirements for engineering documents and data are met.
