ASTRO Contract Vehicle
Overview
ASTRO is a family of multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts managed by the General Services Administration (GSA), supporting or involving manned, unmanned, or optionally manned platforms and robotics. These contracts are intended to provide a wide range of services and solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies.
The services covered under ASTRO include operations, maintenance, research, development, systems integration, data operations, engineering, and logistics. The goal of ASTRO is to offer innovative, flexible, and adaptable solutions to support mission-critical operations of the government.
ASTRO orders may only be placed by authorized contracting officers (COs) within GSA's AAS.
ASTRO Pools + Capabilities
Performance of Data Operations including all data collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination activities associated with manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms and robotics supporting mission performance. This includes traditional labor services as well as “as a service” support. (NAICS: 541990)
