We are leveraging this materials legacy and ultra high performance materials successes to expand our advanced material presence into todays challenges in propulsion and other aggressive thermomechanical applications.

Electrical Engineer III
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in power distribution networks, control and communications systems and experience with integration into hypersonic vehicles.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for hypersonic vehicles, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and systems engineers, to define electrical system requirements and ensure seamless integration with other subsystems.
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
· Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technology evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in electrical systems.
· Develop and review electrical system architectures, schematics, and specifications to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety.
· Oversee the selection and procurement of electrical components and subsystems, working closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
· Perform rigorous testing, verification, and validation of electrical systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Aerodynamics Design and Analysis Engineer
Individual is experienced in the design and modeling aspects of hypersonic vehicle aerodynamics. Familiarity with modeling control surface and aeroelastic effects and control is desired. Ability to model effects of TPS shape change, fluid-structure interaction, and plasma effects over the body is a plus. The successful candidate should be highly motivated and possess detailed knowledge of the following aerodynamics, vehicle control, and system and subsystem test areas:
· CFD with FSI
· System inertial loads, temperatures, and pressure over various trajectory profiles.
· 6 DOF vehicle modeling
· Multi-modal control of complex flight conditions
· Numerical methods to improve trajectory analyses and system effectiveness.
· Aerodynamic control modeling
· Control surface and aeroelastic control modeling
· Aero optical effects prediction for EO/IR seekers on hypersonic vehicles
· Definition and predictive effects of flight test sensors
· Wind tunnel testing and system model correlation

About This Role
Textron Systems is hiring for a Mid-level Electrical Engineer to support our Test Equipment Design efforts for a major Air Force program.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and document automated acceptance test equipment required for new and existing electronic products and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test Engineering.
- Develop a set of testing requirements based on engineering design documentation and hardware.
- Develop functional test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB as well as legacy IEEE-488 and other instrumentation in a context of automated parametric measurements, while maintaining a modular, flexible and scalable design approach.
- Design and develop custom interfaces, system interconnections, test adapters, cables, and ancillary support equipment that maintains NIST-traceable stimulus and measurement capability.
- Develop equipment that withstands the rigors of production use; is easily maintained, calibrated, and repaired; integrates well with existing infrastructure, and leverages commonality with similar test equipment with a goal to minimize life-cycle cost.
- Perform test development activity in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.
- Interface with product development teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirements.
- Author process, test and calibration procedures.
- Produce clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences.
- A wide range of responsibilities ranging from utilizing a high level system approach to standardized testing to programming low level input/output interfaces.
- Ability to lead the conduct and documentation of trade analyses.

About This Role

- Executing a variety of complex technical test functions that support aftermarket activities including system set-up, operation, modification, calibrations, troubleshooting, and testing of digital/analog/RF and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) electronic assemblies.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design, switching power supply design, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs. About This Role
This individual will be responsible for all aspects of production test engineering and transition to production of new test equipment for multiple military and commercial projects. Responsibilities include tactical and strategic planning for the department aligned with business objectives, leadership in the development of new ideas, products, processes and techniques and facilitation of complex projects within boundaries of people, quality, time and value based upon technical review of complex design concepts by technical staff. The successful manager will provide technical direction and coaching to staff and foster an environment of creative employee engagement.

· Lead the design and development of product acceptance test requirements and strategies, as well as the design and development of Special Test Equipment.
· Manage test engineering production support for Textron Systems diverse product mix, such products being digital, RF, sensors, electro-optical, and electro-mechanical in nature.

· Manage cost accounts, technical and schedule objectives for both “level of effort” support as well as defined projects.

Digital Design Engineer III
Textron System, Electronic Systems is seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer to develop solutions for a variety of technical challenges. The Digital Design Engineer will engage in a variety of technical projects including Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware and firmware design, and embedded microcontroller design and development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing Digital Signal Processing code for FPGAs (Altera/Intel or Xilinx/AMD).
- Developing code for embedded microcontrollers (Atmel, Microchip, etc).
- Architecture planning and system level design
- Solving complex problems that may require research and analysis of alternatives involving many factors.
- Working independently to determine and develop innovative solutions.
- Contributing to and/or ensures the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
- Writing interface control documents, specifications, and test procedures for designs.
- Reporting status including schedule progress and problems/issues.
- Working closely with hardware in a lab setting, and debugging using lab equipment (e.g. Spectrum Analyzer, Digital Oscilloscope).
You will be part of highly skilled team and need to interface with other team members, including those of other engineering disciplines. Additional job duties could include systems level requirements analysis, design, and proposal input. Textron has a need for a full-time, Subcontracts, Program Manager with greater than 10 years of experience in management of Defense Weapon System subcontractors. The candidate should have demonstrated advanced level capabilities in Program and Integrated Supply Chain Management. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving in short time frame (reinstatement), a secret level security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Major Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a diverse subcontractor base and have the primary responsibilities not limited to the following:
- Managing the financial, technical, and schedule performance of all critical program subcontractors on the program.
- Collaborate with the Integrated Supply Chain Organization in establishing and qualifying key suppliers.
- Perform Control Account Manager responsible for program subcontract management budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and determine variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates and Estimate At Complete analysis
- Collaborate with development team/Program Management to assure DFx features are embedded in the product being procured.
- Experience with product qualification processes such as PRR, First Article Test, Manufacturing Prove-Out and Test Prove-Out
- Experience working within various program phases including prototype development/ production, Qualification, Low-Rate Initial Production and Full Rate Production programs.
- Follow management program processes, plans and procedures to ensure program executes based on AS9100 Quality certification requirements and Textron best practices.
- Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical and quality).
- Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans and develop solutions to problems utilizing ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.

- Function as the primary company subcontract interface to ensure customer satisfaction.
