About This Role
As an Aerospace Engineering Manager at Textron Systems, you will have the opportunity to lead a variety of aircraft design, integration, flight controls, and simulation efforts to support and deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter. Successful candidates will possess multi-disciplinary knowledge to include aircraft, autopilot, and associated sub-system design, integration, and test, have a strong understanding of applied control system design and development in unmanned applications and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Manage a 5-10 person team of aerospace and controls engineers ranging from junior to senior levels.
· Lead the development of new aircraft across all phases of the hardware design lifecycle from concept development to test and evaluation.
· Lead the design and development of unmanned aircraft autopilots and control systems and advanced simulation.
· Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers of aircraft components and subsystems as needed.
· Participate in test events as the subject matter expert in aerodynamics, autopilot performance, and control.
· Support technical proposals and new business pursuits.
· Conduct discipline project bid generation for project scoping and budgeting.
· Drive innovation and efficiency in a collaborative team environment to enable rapid capability development and technical innovation.
· Track and manage engineering metrics, staffing, and budget allocations for successful project execution.
· Develop and mentor junior staff.

JOB SCOPE:

Summary
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites. The Aircraft Mechanic will also participate in inert ordnance loading, arming and downloading on ATAC’s aircraft.
Job Responsibilities
• Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
• Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
• Utilize AMS program
• Training of maintenance personnel
• Manage assigned maintenance programs
• Assist with coordination of detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs (as necessary)
• Obtain and maintain Detachment Lead qualification
• The Aircraft Mechanic troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls
• This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls
• This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections
• This mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
• Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
• Additional responsibilities as delineated by Production Supervisor and Crew Chiefs
• Manage programs as assigned

Summary:
The Plans and Schedules/Ramco Administrator will perform Aircraft Logs and Records duties,
RAMCO database functions, and associated tasks as part of a team, implementing and
maintaining the ongoing requirements of the Aircraft Maintenance Program.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the accurate documentation of all Aircraft maintenance tasks in
associated logs and records, monitors and updates Aircraft Flight Records, track and
notify Maintenance Managers of aircraft component Life Limits, major inspections, and
overhaul requirements throughout the life of the aircraft.
• Utilizes the RAMCO System and all supporting tools, content, and technologies, roles,
users, security, internal system notifications and other instructional technology user
accounts. Reviews the accuracy of documentation of RAMCO System support methods,
procedures, and configuration.
• Troubleshoots routine RAMCO network problems. Evaluates and follows through on
issues and problems until resolved or escalated. Reviews the accuracy of documentation
of server support methods, procedures, and configuration.
• Training Material: Works with Logistics, Flight operations, Aircraft Maintenance, and
Finance staff to provide help resources and training for users, how-to guides, and FAQs
related to the usage of the learning of the RAMCO System.
• User & Technology Support: Establishes business relationships with both internal and
external clients. Attend meetings, answer questions, and provides technical guidance
and/or training to users to ensure the success of the RAMCO System and the tools used
in conjunction with it.
• Documentation: Documents all project and task activity using the appropriate tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of aviation systems administration experience
• Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Database Systems (RAMCO, NALCOMIS, AMS)
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
• Experience using complex tracking systems in an aircraft maintenance environment,
• Knowledge of Cloud solutions such as Azure

About This Role

- Read and interpret basic drawings and weld symbols
- Passing Textron’s aluminum MIG (GMAW) weld test procedure
- Perform as a productive working team member that meets daily goals set by the supervisor.
- MIG welding of aluminum materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
- Use of power tools (gougers, circular saws, grinders) in a safe, compliant manor
- Operate cranes and forklifts
- Assist supervisor to maintain control of department equipment and its maintenance.
- May instruct and mentor less-skilled welders, as assigned

About This Role
Textron Systems is hiring a Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) Business Partner who will be based at the company’s New Orleans, Louisiana Shipyard. The team designates MARCOM Business Partners for each of our business lines, which are part of the company’s comprehensive portfolio of capabilities. MARCOM Business Partners serve as a first point of contact (POC) for emerging business line questions and requirements. Of equal importance, they work proactively with the business lines to discuss long-range business strategies including new business capture and keep-it-sold efforts. The Business Partners then engage the broader MARCOM team’s centers of excellence – Creative Services/Digital Development, External Communications, Employee & Leader Communications, Trade Shows & Events – to partner on development, execution and measurement of comprehensive, multichannel MARCOM strategies in support of their business line(s).
As a MARCOM Business Partner, you will:
• Work collaboratively with your assigned business lines at all levels, as well as with the broader MARCOM team, to create, execute and measure annual MARCOM plans, encompassing compelling campaigns and content that support domain strategies and growth.
• Use research, analytics and other resources to become an expert on stakeholder audiences.
• Research the competitive landscape to inform product/program positioning and messaging, and craft clear and compelling value propositions for our products and programs that differentiate us in the marketplace.

Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new FPGA designs with an emphasis on simulation and verification, and the transition of those designs into ASICs. The individual should be fluent in the VHDL code techniques required to implement decoders, encoders, shift registers, counters, and state machines to control serial bus data transfers, decode & execute commands and generate simple parallel data stream outputs.
