About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Utilize GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) methods to weld tubing components with exceptional precision.
- Comprehensive knowledge of tubing materials and their respective welding characteristics.
- Welding of aluminum, Stainless, Inconel tubing in all positions.
- .065” to .065” stainless steel tubing / 1G test position
- .065” to .035” stainless steel tubing (qualification for Inconel tubing) / 1G test position
- .065” to .065” aluminum tubing / 6G test position
- Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions.
- Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
- Climbing on and over bulkheads, up and down ladders.
- Tack welding (kneeling, standing, sitting, lying, overhead burning of steel, dragging torch line)
- Use of jacks, porta-powers and come-a longs; some of which can weigh as much as 25 lbs.
- Lifting of material and tools (jacks, porta-powers, come-a longs, etc. Also loading and unloading of parts.
- Crawling through craft on top of tees and through manholes
- Bending and twisting of your body as needed to get into different compartments.
- Operation of cranes, forklifts
- Use of power tools (gougers, skill saws, cut saws, grinders). All require two hands on tools to operate in safe manner
- Walking on tops of frames and tees (uneven walking surfaces)
- Need to be able to work with your hands

Responsibilities:
Candidate will serve as a Electronic Warfare (EW) simulation training developer and instructor in Hunt Valley, MD, with the potential to support training at both US and international customer sites.

- Serve as classroom, and/or field trainer, to conduct initial qualification, refresher, and sustainment training. Document and track student progress.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for operations and maintenance related issues. Provide technical and operational expertise for hardware and software development, testing, and utilization. Interface with engineering personnel to support product improvement.
- Conduct course development. Develop and present formal training courses and materials.
- Conduct training task analysis. Assure that uniform and efficient training and publications processes are applied on assigned programs.
- Coordinate editing, production, and delivery of training materials.
- Evaluate training methods and recommend changes/improvements to ensure efficient and effective qualification of students.

About This Role
As a Trade Show & Events Co-op, you will work with the Marketing and Events team to plan and coordinate logistics for Textron Systems’ tradeshow presence throughout the calendar year. You will have an opportunity to build and refine skills within event and tradeshow planning, project management and execution, costing, marketing, relationship development, work prioritization and time management, intrapersonal communication, etc.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Working with Manager of Tradeshows & Events and other team members on annual tradeshow planning for Textron Systems
· Conducting research and analysis of proposed tradeshows and costs, and present findings to team for review and consideration.
· Coordinating aspects of assigned events:
o Coordinate event and attendee logistics; track and meet show organizer deadlines and vendor deadlines including housing, badge passes, tradeshow logistics, invitation, graphics, video, shipping, etc.
o Collaborate with events team members and marketing colleagues to offer creative solutions and ideas
o Plan event details with assigned budget in mind, process show related invoices for payment and record spending
o Provide weekly updates to the tradeshow manager on the status of all projects and tasks
o Update show plans, coordinate planning meetings with key stakeholders pre-show and post-show. Assist with post-show survey logistics and ROI analysis.
o Help maintain inventory of tradeshow properties and event materials
· Utilize meeting scheduling tools to record customer engagements and meeting schedule updates, flow of meetings and use of conference room at select events
· Support event activity with all levels of management and key stakeholders at various stages of show planning, execution, and post-show
· Other duties as assigned

About This Role
A Sr Welder – Training Lead (Aluminum), under the direction of a Production Supervisor, leads and directs the individual’s training and development related to aluminum welding within MLS manufacturing processes and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts the aluminum welding training of new hires and transfers based upon the needs of the department to which the individual will be assigned
- Adheres to MLS manufacturing requirements, quality standards and core competencies in the preparation and delivery of quality instruction
- Maintain training curriculum while continually improving and developing the training program as necessary
- Pace instruction and vary delivery to meet different learning styles
- Provide appropriate and timely feedback to training participants
- Maintains clean, effective, and professional learning environment
- Maintains accurate records of attendance, progress of participants and reports the same in a timely manner to the Training Manager
- Completes weld certification documentation in coordination with Quality Control and delivers completed paperwork to weld engineer
- Stays current with MLS welding technology, processes, and equipment
- Be able to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and welding symbols as it pertains to MLS manufacturing
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.
- Works with Production Supervisor in the development and implementation of P.I.P. for individuals not meeting MLS quality and production standards

About ATAC
Textron Systems - ATAC provides tactical flight training and Adversary, Red Air and Aggressor services to the U.S. Navy, Marines and the US Air Force. ATAC operates simultaneously across eight permanent sites spanning the CONUS, Hawaii and the Pacific. ATAC proudly provides the highest quality live training to 4th and 5th Generation aircrew in Squadrons, Air Wings, and Battle Groups conducting unit level continuation training, pre-deployment spin-up training, large force employment training, or aircrew conversion training. ATAC was the first civilian organization to support the USAF’s F-22 Raptors as well as the USN’s and USMC’s F-35 Lightning IIs.
Job Summary
Fly the Dassault Mirage F-1, the IAI F-21 Kfir, the MK-58 Hawker Hunter, or the AERO Vodochody L-39 Albatros, in regular support of US Navy, Marine Corps, and US Air Force training and readiness missions. Fly in support of 4th and 5th Generation Fighter operational and conversion syllabus and continuation training missions. Support surface fleet pre-deployment training and large force employment missions.
Navy Contracts: Conduct flight operations from any of ATAC’s four permanent facilities (Newport News Virginia, Pt Mugu NAS California, Fallon NAS California, Kaneohe Bay MCAS Hawaii), or deployed locations. Deploy as required to locations including but not limited to Key West NAS, Fallon NAS, Beaufort MCAS, Jacksonville NAS, Lemoore NAS, Eglin AFB, Charleston Intl Airport, Jacksonville Intl Airport, Cherry Point MCAS, and various USAF, USN, USMC bases throughout Alaska, Guam, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines.
Air Force Contracts: Conduct flight operations from any of ATAC’s permanent facilities (Eglin AFB, Luke AFB, Alliance FTW) or deployed locations. Deploy as required to various locations.
Job Responsibilities
• Employ the ATAC fighter aircraft throughout their flight envelope as a surrogate Adversary, Red Air, Aggressor or Close Air Support pilot for US Navy, Marine Corps and USAF aircrew, JTAC, surface fleet, large force employment exercise, or intercept controller training.
• Maintain FAA instrument currency, Second Class medical certification, adversary mission qualifications and associated mission currencies, to include low level, dynamic mission, and unlimited air combat tactics maneuvering in the high-G environment.
• Attend mass briefings, adversary coordination briefings and other pre-flight briefings. Plan and fly adversary missions. Accomplish flight debriefings and attend mass debriefings.
• Adhere to all training rules and pre-briefed maneuvering restrictions.
• Collect and disseminate lessons learned.
• Accomplish necessary ground training prior to flights.
• Deploy as required to support mission requirements.
• Additional Duties: Act as, or support the individual responsible for, pilot Scheduling, Training, NATOPS/Standards & Evaluation, Safety, or other Program Management duties as required.
