About This Role
The Aircraft Worker is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Responsibilities
• Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
• Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
• Utilize AMS program
• Training of maintenance personnel

About This Role
A Maintenance Weld Technician, under general supervision, is required to perform any and all tasks assigned by management based on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
· Primary duties may include performing complex troubleshooting and repairs on welding equipment, maintaining welding machines and welding machine accessories, providing production support as needed and performing equipment preventative maintenance related to production equipment.
· Additional duties may include performing light mechanical duties, light electrical duties, painting, light carpentry, and general equipment preventative maintenance.
· Perform preventative and repair tasks related to facility equipment using diagnostics devices (i.e. welding machine load bank, multimeter, amp probe, phase meter, etc.) which are all provided by the Company.
· Be able to read and work from electrical schematics and to trace electrical wiring.
· May direct activities or tasks of other employees.
· Maintain records, forms, and logs as required.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

- Performing the duties of a Structural Shipfitter daily.
- Job duties include but are not limited to measuring, laying out, cutting, grinding, forming and drilling of assorted materials (aluminum, steel, stainless, gasket, rubber, screen, etc.).

About This Role
Textron Systems Wilmington, MA is seeking a Manufacturing or Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to learn and enhance their advanced manufacturing process capabilities. Necessary skills are Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, product transition to production within the development phase of the product life cycle and support of existing products.
This individual will be responsible for providing manufacturing engineering input to support new product development, and to optimize design for manufacturability, design for assembly, design to cost, and transition to production. This individual will work alongside the design engineering team during the preliminary development phases of emerging programs to analyze and improve manufacturing cost, quality, and DFX. Responsibilities will also include other upstream activities such as capital equipment, facility requirements, existing and emerging manufacturing technologies, tool design, cost estimating, and configuration control. This individual will work closely with Design Engineering, Engineering Prototype Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, Machinists, and Assembly Technicians to complete initial prototype builds, analyze results, and refine engineering designs.

• Provide manufacturing engineering input to support new product development, from initial conceptual design to the transition-to-production phase.

• Perform design for manufacturability, design for assembly, and design to cost analyses during the preliminary development phase of emerging programs and drive changes early in product development to improve manufacturability
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Engineering Prototype Technicians, Machinists, Assembly Technicians, and other Manufacturing Engineers to provide a clear line of communication between design and manufacturing.
• Participate in tabletop design reviews and formal CCB reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers for outsourcing activities.

Summary
ATAC’s Research & Development Aircraft Chief Engineer will be responsible for “cradle to grave” management, research, development, design, integration, verification and validation of new system installations onto current platforms within the inventory. Systems include, but are not limited to, electro-optical/infra-red (EO/IR) sensors, electronic warfare (EW) equipment, active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars, advanced training missiles integration, and helmet mounted cueing systems (HMCS). This position will report to the Director of Research & Development and will also support the Program Managers directly responsible for upgrades to ATAC’s fleet of aircraft as required by existing customers.
Job Responsibilities
· Research existing aircraft avionics, sensors, and systems that can cost-effectively be integrated onto ATACs fleet of aircraft in order to develop winning technical solutions for future proposals.
· Draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to industry in order to gain firm pricing and schedule of potential aircraft avionics, sensors, and systems.
· Draft and release Statements of Work (SOWs) that will dovetail ATAC’s mission requirements with vendor capabilities.
· Develop and manage systems-level requirements for aircraft avionics, sensors, and systems that meet the customer’s needs and can be used for effective subcontracting.
· Review and assess engineering designs, drawings, specifications and products.
· Apply methodical processes and documentation to resolve risks and issues.
· Assist the Director of R&D in evaluating potential aircraft acquisitions or modernization upgrades that will satisfy current and future U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and foreign military Contracted Air Services (CAS) requirements.
· Assist the Capture Manager with proposal development, including developing strategy, advocating technical solutions, writing content and editing the work of others.
· Assist aircraft Program Managers with requirements derivation, management, verification and validation efforts.
· Assist aircraft Program Managers with Test & Evaluation planning and execution.
· Coordinate, draft and release test reports to US Government entities.
· Interface with subcontractor engineers to ensure that procured aircraft avionics, sensors, and systems are properly being designed, integrated, and installed onto ATAC aircraft.

JOB SCOPE:
· Perform all operations within a continuous flow-manufacturing cell, utilizing the skills and ability to run all machines, as well as test equipment including burring within the cell, part washing, measurement and recording of inspection results using electronic gauging and all other inspection equipment for data collection.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner.
· Perform assigned work to specify quality and production standards.
· Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual’s immediate work area in a clean condition.
· Prepare and/or maintain all documentation necessary to the duties of the job classification.
