Position Summary
Textron Systems Electronic Systems is looking for a Radio Frequency (RF)/Microwave (MW) Design Engineer to add to our team developing state of the art RF/MW assemblies for our rapidly growing business unit. The ideal candidate would have a passion for developing component-level RF/MW and analog hardware designs, along with a working knowledge of digital hardware designs. This Electrical engineer position will be responsible for the detailed design and selection of components and sub-circuits with exposure to the entire hardware design cycle, from conceptual design to production support as well as leading junior engineers to support the development efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree electrical engineering with 5-10 years of MW/RF experience or Master of Science with a concentration in RF/MW Design with 3-5 years of experience
- Experience designing Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMA) and the key design elements.
- Expertise with simulation and CAD tools used in performing RF/MW designs.
- Detailed knowledge of RF/MW circuit design, analysis, and layout techniques.
- Background of RF/MW component selection and key design trade-offs.
- Extensive knowledge of RF/Microwave testing equipment including synthesizers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, vector network analyzers, phase noise test set.
- Ability to interface directly with engineering, test, manufacturing, and suppliers/subcontractors.
- Proficiency in designing, specifying, and testing of electrical components, subassemblies, and cables.
- Ability work with people in a collaborative environment and earn the respect of peers.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

The Structural Engineering Analyst will be responsible for performing advanced structural analysis and design of flight vehicles in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. The Analyst will also be responsible for guiding and reviewing structural analysis performed by junior analysts. The position requires extensive expertise in Ansys for structural analysis as well as the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) models and other analysis software. The analysis techniques used, as well as the compiled results, will be summarized in presentations and detailed design analysis reports.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior structural analyst performing complex static and dynamic structural analyses of flight vehicles in the strategic missiles and reentry vehicle area.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in structural analysis techniques and best practices. Review structural analysis models and results produced by the analysis team.
- Utilize a combination of ANSYS and other software tools (both COTS and Textron developed) to generate structural characteristics and responses.
- Define recommended changes to improve the performance/efficiency of structural design features.
- Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports.
- Up to 5% travel may be required

About This Role
- Develop Supply Chain ‘Supplier Management’ processes and procedures that form the basis for future execution of the technical team.
- Identify methods and reference materials that provide effective communication and information exchange protocol to promote ‘Standard Work’ functions throughout the team.
- Determine and build effective tools to capture supplier data, record, and build a repository of information (Preferred/Approved Supplier Lists) that will allow rapid access and facilitate solid decision making.

- Support Quality processes in receiving, receiving inspection, assembly, test and shipping areas
- Attend Integrated Product Team meetings to present on Quality priorities, nonconformances, focus areas, and key issues
- Disposition nonconformances in parts, paperwork, drawings, etc.
- Conduct Material Review Board (MRB) submissions on noncompliant material as needed
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and others to report out on defects and identify root cause and corrective actions
- Conduct and report out on periodic quality audits to ensure compliance to process and procedure

About This Role
A Welding Engineer III develops, manages, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of a sound welding program and processes through improved weld processes, design specification review, techniques, inspections, and safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and document welding processes in accordance with national and military standards and/or specifications.
- Review welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
- Develops and executes weld qualification procedures.
- Creates, submits, and manages Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) documents.
- Works with management to identify problems and recommend resolutions of welding processes, issues and concerns.
- Directly interface with the product design engineering team to ensure design for process and manufacturing requirements are addressed and met.
- Assist and support manufacturing, other support groups, and training center as it relates to weld processes, weld related defects (to include the assistance with repair/rework dispositions to address defects), weld sequencing, and any other weld related needs.
- Keep abreast of state-of-the-art welding technologies and safety procedures used throughout the industry.
- Performs all other job-related duties as assigned by management.

The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
- Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
- Utilize AMS program
- Training of maintenance personnel
- Manage assigned maintenance programs
- Assist with coordination of detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs (as necessary)
- Obtain and maintain Detachment Lead qualification
- The Aircraft Mechanic troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls
- This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls
- This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections
- This mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
- Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
- Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects
- Additional responsibilities as delineated by Production Supervisor and Crew Chiefs

Job Summary
The Cherry Point Air Intercept Controller position is responsible to the Cherry Point Director and Deputy Director of Operations primarily for Ground Control Intercept support of flight operations when required as well as flight scheduling, airfield, and airspace coordination, and coordination with the ACE Director of Flight Operations (DFO) for pilot manning. The Air Intercept Controller position will be familiar with the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Mirage F1 operations manual, and ATAC general flight operations to include assisting the Training Manager, Standardization Manager, and the Chief Pilot in their assigned responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
• Primarily responsible to the DO/DDO for providing Ground Control Intercept/Air Intercept Control to ATAC and government customers for the purpose of safety and quality of ADAIR presentations as a contract requirement.
• Responsible to the DO/DDO for coordinating pilot manning and scheduling.
• Responsible to the DO/DDO for coordinating long range customer scheduling/range space requirements.
• Create and disseminate daily operational scheduling for the OL.
• Coordinate with the Pilot Training and Stan/eval managers for currency requirements
• Coordinate with the Chief Pilot/Training Manager/Standardization Manager to ensure unity of effort.
• Closely monitor operations and maintenance aircraft availability to balance assets with tasking.
• Effectively communicate across the operations and maintenance spectrum to maintain continuity.
