About This Role
A Day in the Life of a Manufacturing Engineer II:
· Support development and improvement of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for fabrication and assembly of detail parts and end-item products.
· Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot build issues, resolve manufacturing problems, and support day-to-day operations.

The Pricing & Estimating Sr Manager is responsible for the overall department performance and growth of personnel. Will oversee staff in developing fully supported pricing proposals that will be submitted in response to government and other customer requests, manages the workload of direct reports, and coordinates pricing efforts with management and other departments. Duties include leading the Pricing & Estimating team through proposal development, pricing analysis, pricing strategy, compliance with company policies and government requirements, fact-finding, audits, negotiations, problem solving, and training of personnel. This role requires working closely with cross-functional teams such as business development, program management, contracts, finance, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing to fully understand the customer RFP and to develop a compliant pricing proposal for submittal. About This Role
Textron Systems, leading developers of high-performance Unmanned Systems, a proven partner for both military and commercial applications, is offering a full-time opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to support our growing family of unmanned naval products. Our teams are engaged in multiple cutting-edge development programs for domestic and international programs. This position provides an opportunity to travel, execute experimental military hardware testing, and develop new skills. This position reports to the Unmanned Surface Vessel Lab Manager.
The strong candidate will have hands-on experience in the test, integration, and maintenance of mechanical systems and will be ready to work in a fast-paced environment. The position also includes supporting on-water operations of surface systems, serving as a small craft operator, safety lookout, or support crew members.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Read assembly documentation (i.e. Work Instructions, Drawings etc.), parts lists, and diagrams to assemble and install a wide variety of components.
- Operate test equipment.
- Assemble and troubleshoot drive train components and hydraulic actuation systems.
- Use small hand tools such as tap and die, hand drills, impact guns, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers in the confines of a small naval craft.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Sourcing Engineer with a focus on Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) to support its Strategic Outsourcing Strategy. This role partners with internal customers to identify and develop business opportunities while collaborating with Strategic Sourcing Managers to build effective, stable supplier partnerships and roadmaps.
The Senior Sourcing Engineer will serve as the primary technical liaison between engineering and supply chain teams. The role includes providing engineering input on technical producibility and Design for X (DFX) principles to support new product development. It also involves identifying, qualifying, and managing capable suppliers, as well as driving design optimization for supplier manufacturability, assembly, cost, and quality. Additionally, the Senior Sourcing Engineer will support prototyping validation and manufacturing readiness activities to enable a stable transition to production.
In addition, the Senior Sourcing Engineer will contribute to upstream supply chain activities, including Bill of Materials (BOM) development, the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) initiative, integration of emerging manufacturing technologies, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) practices, and cost validation and estimating.
This position requires close collaboration with Design Engineering (including Integrated Product Teams), Engineering Prototype and Test teams, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality to support prototype builds, analyze supplier performance, and serve as the technical focal point for supplier management.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Sourcing Engineer focused on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly as part of the Strategic Outsourcing Strategy. The focus will be to lead engagement with the internal customers to support the development of business opportunities, collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Managers to provide an effective, stable, and successful roadmap for Partnerships and Suppliers for Supply Chain.
