Jim Tarallo is the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Textron Systems and a member of the Textron Systems Executive Leadership Team and the Textron Finance Council. In this role, Tarallo is responsible for all financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial reporting and program financial control. While in this role, Tarallo manages finances for all Textron Systems business units, leading a team of more than 200 finance personnel across the various operating units at Textron Systems.
Since Tarallo first joined Textron Systems in September 2010, he has held a number of leadership roles within the finance organization, with his most recent position as the vice president of finance for the three Hunt Valley-based Textron Systems operating units. While in this position, Tarallo managed finances for Electronic Systems, Unmanned Systems and Support Solutions, combining to a total revenue of approximately $900 million, while also leading more than 90 financial professionals in areas such as accounting, financial planning and analysis, pricing and estimating, among others.
Prior to joining Textron Systems, Tarallo held various leadership roles within finance organizations at Raytheon Corporation, Danaher Corporation, United Technologies, General Dynamics, as well as at the Defense Contract Audit Agency & Massachusetts State Auditors Department.
Tarallo earned a master of business administration degree from Bryant University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Tarallo also received the 2008 Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems President Award, and was recognized as a Pratt & Whitney Achieving Competitive Excellence Leader. Tarallo also completed various leadership programs within Textron, Raytheon and United Technologies. He is also Six-Sigma trained.
