- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprised of software engineers, electrical/hardware engineers, firmware engineers, system engineers, and test engineers to develop system and software/firmware architectures and design solutions that optimize performance, reliability, safety, security, and quality/mission assurance.
- Work directly with product design engineers through system integration, verification, and validation to ensure compliance with functional and performance requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to execute program plans ensuring on time delivery of products/deliverables.
- Support the preparation of technical documentation, including system specifications, design description documents, test plans, and test reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project and contractual requirements.

The Electronic Systems team in Hunt Valley is seeking a motivated, self-driven, and organized Project Engineer to join our Spectrum Portfolio.
This interdisciplinary role involves supporting the full life cycle development of our solutions, including new product development, upgrades, integration and test, fielding, and sustainment. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, managing internal and external stakeholders, and working successfully within a collaborative team environment
Responsibilities:
· Lead cross-functional planning efforts with Program Management to shape program strategy, schedule, and budget.
· Drive resolution of schedule, resource, and technical conflicts across engineering teams.
· Guide multi-discipline teams through unusually complex technical challenges and provide solution paths.
· Manage and coordinate design, development, integration, and test activities across assigned projects.
· Generate statements of work and manage subcontractor technical performance.
· Collaborate with functional managers to organize, prioritize, and delegate key tasks.
· Serve as primary technical interface between engineering teams, IPTs, Integrated Supply Chain, and customers.
· Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers.
· Prepare and present engineering work products to internal review teams and external customers at major milestone reviews.
