Within the ranks of Textron Systems, we’re honored to have veterans like Eddie, who bring invaluable expertise and experience to our ranks, allowing us to succeed in our innovation, creation and deployment of solutions to keep our customers safe while accomplishing their mission.

Before his 46-year tenure at Textron Systems, Eddie served six years in the U.S. Navy as a hull technician and damage control firefighter across the Indo-PACOM region. His time in the military prepared him for his role at Textron Systems by teaching him how to work and respect others under demanding circumstances.

Eddie first began his career at Textron Systems as a Ship Fitter. Since then, Eddie has been able to receive training and work experience throughout several different areas of the business. He’s held roles such as Outfitting Supervisor, Engineering Tech Liaison, as well as roles within the manufacturing and tooling design space. Eddie currently works as a Principal Design Engineer, supporting our Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle program.

In his time with Textron Systems, Eddie has always enjoyed the familial atmosphere that’s found throughout our several business lines. Looking to the future, Eddie says he’s most excited for the development of the unmanned systems.

“It’s been quite a big change from pulleys and chains, but now everything is becoming remote,” Eddie said. “We’ve gone from the stone age to the Jetsons.”

Protecting the warfighter by keeping them off the battlefield is what inspires him to continue his important work each day.

We are proud to have a veteran like Eddie in our ranks. The loyalty and passion he brings to work every day sends positive waves throughout our facility. Eddie, we thank you for your service and for the work you put in for the last several decades.
