Yesterday, our Sea Systems Team delivered the third Ship-to-Shore Connector (SSC), LCAC 102, to the U.S. Navy in Panama City, Fla. during a Fly Away event. The SSC provides the U.S. Navy with a modernized landing craft capable of accessing more than 80 percent of the world’s shorelines.

Manufactured at our Louisiana Shipyard, these craft have next-generation technology, increased payload and improved reliability to help our customer own the last mile. Each craft undergoes rigorous Builder’s and Acceptance Trials to ensure they are calibrated to be successful in any mission. With over 50 years of experience designing, manufacturing and testing products suited for all domains, our company is proud to partner with the Navy on this program.

There are currently twenty-one additional SSCs under contract and in various states of production and testing at our Louisiana Shipyard.
