Meet Susan - Wilmington, Massachusetts Team

Employee Highlight Series
September 30, 2020

What are your primary responsibilities on your team?

My responsibilities can vary day to day which keeps things exciting. I could be doing circuit design and analysis, troubleshooting boards, or in the lab running tests and writing scripts to analyze data. I have written code that implements key communication with the sensors in our hand-emplaced system and developed a calibration station that calibrates the sensors. Currently, I am involved in the design and prototyping of an important safety feature of our hand-emplaced system, which involves working closely with people from other disciplines such as the mechanical and software engineers.

What do you like about working on this team?

I am constantly learning how to be a better electrical engineer and being challenged with every new task. There is so much knowledge to be gained from the people that I work with and I am glad to have a chance to learn from them.

What advice would you give to a new hire joining this team?

Starting on a new project can be overwhelming so ask lots of questions! Don’t be afraid to reach out to others on your team for help or clarification.
