Textron Systems Awarded Software Support Activity (SSA) And Payload Integration Contract To Support Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) Craft

HUNT VALLEY, Md., April 8, 2025 – Textron Systems Corporation, a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, announced today that it has been awarded a Software Support Activity (SSA) and Payload Integration contract from the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) valued at up to $100 million over a three year period of performance. Under this contract, Textron Systems will support software development updates for Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) as well as payload integration, testing, and demonstrations on potential future MCM mission packages including Magnetic and Acoustic Generation Next Unmanned Superconducting Sweep (MAGNUSS) system and Mine Neutralization payloads as well as non-MCM packages including various Surface Warfare (SuW), Anti-Submarine (ASW), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and other capabilities.
