About This Role
System Administrators collaborate with a diverse team to support classified information systems. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments supporting the warfighters. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and develop solutions to solve infrastructure problems. Knowledge of Windows and Linux desktop and server operating systems is required. The System Administrator is responsible for information system patching, anti-virus updates and installations, vulnerability management, and user account management. You will work with Cybersecurity professionals, such as ISSM, ISSO and IT to maintain security compliance requirements. This candidate will perform desktop support, resetting passwords, installing, network configuration and troubleshooting, upgrading applications, and respond to incidents that occur on the information systems.
Responsibilities
· Setup and maintain systems support for software, hardware, and servers: test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve all problems
· Manage security controls testing process, application updates and installs, operating system upgrades and patching, RAID configuration & monitoring, system backups & restoration, system image creation and disk cloning
· Maintain system security requirements per DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM and applicable procedures
· Provide timely technical support for users and work with them to solve existing problems to include software issues, account management and miscellaneous computing requirements
· Troubleshooting to resolve technical problems on hardware, operating systems, and applications
· Work with Cybersecurity professionals on vulnerability management processes and procedures for all information systems, to include discovery and mitigation
· Support Anti-virus Installation and Maintenance
· Support overall Authority to Operate (ATO) activities
· Coordinate incident response and backup processes and documentation

About This Role

Responsibilities

Textron Systems is hiring a highly skilled and experienced embedded software engineer to join our team and serve as a software architect and developer. The candidate will assist the lead software engineer with the planning, designing, and oversight of the implementation and test of embedded software systems throughout the full software development lifecycle. The candidate will work closely with the software test lead as well to ensure proper verification of software requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software design and architecture of embedded software systems, as well as experience with software documentation that conform to Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).
The team’s goal is to create scalable and optimized software systems for defense applications to support modernization efforts for the US military. While the candidate’s primary focus will be the architecture and design, the candidate will be responsible for software peer reviews and implementation tasks. Textron systems is developing highly complex systems using microprocessor, ARM, and/or DSP architectures where some aspects are safety critical. The candidate must be able to work independently on individual assigned tasks and well as collaborate with software, systems, safety, and electrical lead engineering team members throughout the project. As part of a strong, passionate, and accomplished team of security experts, the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) will lead, supervise, and direct security measures necessary for implementing applicable security requirements for various SAP programs. The CPSO will be New Business, a forward-thinking professional with creativity in mind as they introduce security into multiple environments and life-cycle phases, including proposals efforts, and production. The CPSO will interface with business partners, teammates, and customer personnel. The CPSO will interpret and convey Department of Defense (DoD), Special Access Program (SAPs), and Intelligence Community (IC) requirements. The CPSO will report to Textron Systems Corporation (TSC) Government Sr. Program Security Manager (SPSM), serve as the primary point of contact for assigned programs, solidify a strong security posture, and instill security as a critical process to TSC employees. The CPSO will use security expertise to guide and advise personnel.
The CPSO must have substantial security-related experience and knowledge of government security regulations, manuals, and processes, including those outlined in the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD-704, 705, etc.), DoD 5205.07, and other applicable manuals. About This Role
Textron Systems is hiring for a Mid-level Electrical Engineer to support our Test Equipment Design efforts for a major Air Force program.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and document automated acceptance test equipment required for new and existing electronic products and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test Engineering.
- Develop a set of testing requirements based on engineering design documentation and hardware.
- Develop functional test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB as well as legacy IEEE-488 and other instrumentation in a context of automated parametric measurements, while maintaining a modular, flexible and scalable design approach.
- Design and develop custom interfaces, system interconnections, test adapters, cables, and ancillary support equipment that maintains NIST-traceable stimulus and measurement capability.
- Develop equipment that withstands the rigors of production use; is easily maintained, calibrated, and repaired; integrates well with existing infrastructure, and leverages commonality with similar test equipment with a goal to minimize life-cycle cost.
- Perform test development activity in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.
