The Structural Engineering Analyst will be responsible for performing advanced structural analysis and design of flight vehicles in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. The Analyst will also be responsible for guiding and reviewing structural analysis performed by junior analysts. The position requires extensive expertise in Ansys for structural analysis as well as the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) models and other analysis software. The analysis techniques used, as well as the compiled results, will be summarized in presentations and detailed design analysis reports.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior structural analyst performing complex static and dynamic structural analyses of flight vehicles in the strategic missiles and reentry vehicle area.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in structural analysis techniques and best practices. Review structural analysis models and results produced by the analysis team.
- Utilize a combination of ANSYS and other software tools (both COTS and Textron developed) to generate structural characteristics and responses.
- Define recommended changes to improve the performance/efficiency of structural design features.
- Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports.
- Up to 5% travel may be required

We are seeking a talented test engineer with a Mechanical or Test Engineering background to support a major US Air Force Program. As a Test Engineer, you will perform planning, coordination, and execution of component, subsystem, and system level tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. A strong candidate will possess at least 2+ years related experience. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplined team environment and directly support our nation’s war fighters. Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule test and evaluation activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards
• Prepare and/or review test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews and test reports for functional, environmental, and field tests
• Support in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of data acquisition systems, accelerometers, strain gauges, high speed cameras, and other test instrumentation
• Support test activities including product installation, integration, test, data acquisition and analysis
• Perform preliminary “quick-look” analysis and provide post-test debriefs to engineering team and customers
• Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering, and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases
• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills

About This Role
The Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for performing detailed financial analysis and reporting for their assigned contracts. In this role, the Analyst will interact closely with the program team and functional departments to ensure the accuracy of monthly cost projections, and sales and profit forecasts.

Level II Responsibilities
Support assigned programs with timely analysis, financial modeling and recommendations for decision making.
Use analysis to identify and investigate program issues and advise on appropriate course of action.
Conduct program analysis, maintain forecasts and provide monthly Estimate at Completion (EACs).
Establish and maintain standard corporate financial reports and program status reports.
Provide real time information to Finance Manager regarding changes in program financials and execution.
Ensure program financials are accurate and complete and are in accordance with SOX and Internal Controls.
Other duties as assigned.
Level III Responsibilities
- Use analysis and financial data to advise program managers and business leaders during monthly reviews and during critical business decisions
- Serve as primary liaison between Finance and Program leadership teams
- Provide real time information to Director, Finance regarding changes in program financials and execution
- Create and maintain standard financial reports: orders, sales, cost, profit and cash flow forecasts, Monthly Program Status Reports, Earned Value reports
- Ensure program financials are in accordance with SOX and Internal Controls
- Establish and maintain baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (Deltek Cobra)
- Analyze program data to ensure estimates are accurate and complete
- Mentor and train junior staff to ensure robust Program Finance talent pipeline

SUMMARY
The Supplier Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance processes, implement quality control measures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of protocols and procedures to ensure products are manufactured and assembled to the highest standards. Additionally, the Senior Quality Engineer will lead process improvement activities at supplier facilities to enhance product quality for Lycoming Engines. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Six Sigma methodologies, AS9100 standards, and FAA regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads, plans, organizes, monitors, and conducts supplier audits to quality standards (AS9100) in support of supplier selection and improvement.
• Drives effective root cause analyses and corrective actions for Lycoming Engines and its customers.
• Spearheads process improvement activities at supplier facilities.
• Facilitate preventive actions and supplier process control projects that improve the quality of products delivered to Lycoming Engines.
• Compiles and analyzes data to make informed decisions to drive supplier quality improvement.
• Evaluates suppliers’ performance and implements necessary enhancements.
• Works closely with the receiving inspection team to resolve any issues with parts or paperwork from suppliers.

About This Role
Textron Systems in Blackstone, VA is seeking a Quality Analyst. We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will:
- Support Quality processes in receiving, receiving inspection, assembly, test and shipping areas
- Attend Integrated Product Team meetings to present on Quality priorities, nonconformances, focus areas, and key issues
- Disposition nonconformances in parts, paperwork, drawings, etc.
- Conduct Material Review Board (MRB) submissions on noncompliant material as needed
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and others to report out on defects and identify root cause and corrective actions
- Conduct and report out on periodic quality audits to ensure compliance to process and procedure
- Participate in periodic reviews to report out quality performance and other key metrics
- Analyze production results/inspection data and present findings to the team
- Support the improvement of processes throughout the facility
- Meet with Factory Managers, Planners, Supplier Quality Engineers, Project Managers, and others to find solutions to day-to-day problems and develop formal corrective action requests when required

This role involves developing strong partnerships with suppliers, leading project assessments, and facilitating supplier development plans to improve processes, reduce waste, and optimize cost and producibility. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and team collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to travel frequently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assess and qualify new suppliers based on their capability to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement and supplier quality teams to conduct in-depth evaluations of supplier facilities, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead formal project assessments and manage all project lifecycle phases.
• Provide clear vision and strategy for supplier development to internal teams and suppliers.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and responsiveness while ensuring suppliers comply with aviation industry standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations.
• Review and support technical evaluations and participate in design reviews.
• Facilitate supplier meetings, technical interchanges, and status reporting.
• Identify supplier selection criteria and conduct trade studies with stakeholders.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to develop products and processes and optimize producibility and cost.

About This Role
- Develop Supply Chain ‘Supplier Management’ processes and procedures that form the basis for future execution of the technical team.
- Identify methods and reference materials that provide effective communication and information exchange protocol to promote ‘Standard Work’ functions throughout the team.

About This Role
· Assists the Logistics Supervisor in the supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost of organization's supply chain.
· Provides recommendations on vendor's qualification and performance to ensure they meet company's requirements.
· Supports project/department milestones/goals while adhering to approved budgets.
· Extensive knowledge of department processes which may include loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift/equipment operation, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
· Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
· Verify computations against physical count of stock.
· Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
· Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
· The Material Specialist will coordinate the logistics of all aspects of the supply chain which consists of Issue, receipt, delivery, shipping, and the return system (for defective or unwanted products).
· The Material Specialist tries to minimize shortages and keep costs down.
· The position includes logistics managing, purchasing and inventory control.
