About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design, switching power supply design, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs. The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice and other simulation products. About This Role
Seeking a senior ATE Project Lead, to support ATE development in the Textron Weapon Systems Line of Business. Applicants should have a strong background in all aspects of Test Equipment development and possess a demonstrated ability in leading technical teams. Responsibilities will include designing, developing, integrating, and deploying Automated Test Equipment. The successful candidate will have intimate technical knowledge of Commercial (COTS) Instrumentation, Test Equipment electrical design, mechanical design, software design, Calibration, and Self-Test methods, etc.

A high competency in the practices of ATE Requirements Analysis, Design Review presentations, and ATE Certification practices are also required, with a strong emphasis on intra/inter disciplinary team cohesion.
As an ATE Project Technical Lead, the applicant’s primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate all technical project work and to support the team’s Cost Account Management (CAM) activities. An emphasis on status reporting of Integrated Master Schedules in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS), will also be required to maintain all aspects of project execution in accordance with the established cost, schedule, and technical requirements of the program.

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for developing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) in a DoD / Aerospace Line of Business. Applicant should have a strong background in Electrical Engineering, and possess a demonstrated ability developing C# test code for Special Test Equipment (ATE / STE). Test executives and test sequences, as well as commercial instrumentation interfaces, data acquisition and control, and communication protocols will be the prime applications to be designed and automated into our ATE systems. High awareness and competency in the cohesion required between the multi-disciplinary functions (electrical / mechanical / software) required of a formal ATE team are required. Designing with Modularity and Commonality are top requirements of the position. Additionally, the ability to generate Validation sequences, Calibration sequences, Test Reports, estimates, design review materials, and presentation packages, is critical.

- Derive, flow, and trace Test Requirements from Sources to Test Code and Test Report

About This Role:
Senior ATE Mechanical Engineer, for Automated Test Equipment development. Applicant should have a strong background in designing and generating drawings for all aspects of ATE development, including release to Production.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Document Interconnect Diagrams, Rack Assemblies, Altered Items, Cable Assemblies, Interface Modules, Parts Lists / BOMs, and Interface Test Adaptors

- Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to architect, lead, and execute the integration of UAS platforms with mission-critical subsystems—including automated target recognition (ATR), navigation and control algorithms, communication systems, and diverse payloads.
- Work on complex technical problems and develop highly innovative solutions that enable seamless interoperability across hardware, software, autonomy, and mission-system components.
- Lead end-to-end integration activities that bring together third-party sensors, autonomy modules, onboard computing, and communication links to transform baseline UAS into complete mission-ready systems.
- Oversee the development and integration of advanced mission payloads, including EO/IR and AI-enabled perception systems, ensuring compatibility with onboard processing, data pathways, and vehicle command-and-control.
- Direct the implementation and tuning of navigation, guidance, and control algorithms, resilient navigation approaches, and closed-loop system validation.
- Manage system-level communications integration, ensuring robust data links, network interoperability, and compliance with operational and security requirements.
- Establish and refine integration processes, technical standards, and system verification strategies for complex UAS mission architectures.
- Lead simulation-based system validation, including high-fidelity modeling of autonomy, sensor performance, communication networks, and mission workflows to reduce risk prior to flight testing.
- Oversee test planning and execution across laboratory, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), field-test, and flight-test environments to validate integrated system performance under realistic operational conditions.
- Conduct sophisticated diagnostics and root-cause analyses across mechanical, electrical, software, and algorithmic domains to rapidly resolve integration challenges.
