About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Purchase materials from supplies at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
- Study market trends, interview vendors and recommends sources of supply
- Solicit and analyze quotations required to satisfy all the requirements of the authorizing source documentation
- Monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries of quality products to maintain production, following up on orders to expedite shipment and delivery as needed
- Negotiate for any adjustments resulting from price analysis, discrepant materials, surplus or obsolete materials, contract terminations or a purchase order cancellation
- Obtain certifications of delivery and conduct item delivery validation. Check and improve payment of invoices
- Develop and maintain necessary records and files for compliance purposes. Support preparation of proposal cost data

About This Role
The Sr. Manager Supply Chain will lead a team of subcontract specialists to enable the negotiation and execution of complex subcontracts with major suppliers and ensure oversight of the supply base. This position further serves as the Military Crewed Land Vehicle, domain supply chain lead with direct support responsibility to the domain program leadership. Customer relationship management and supply chain execution are key measures for this position, all with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the supply chain lead to the Crewed Land Family of Vehicle domain programs. Engage in regular communications, attend program reviews, and provide supply chain feedback on items of program importance or concern (e.g. risky suppliers and mitigation, delivery status, cost growth concerns, parts misaligned to need by dates, among others).
- Coordinate and align with other supply chain resources/functions to meet customer objectives. (Supplier Development Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Sourcing Engineering, Data Analytics, Tactical Procurement). Escalate issues as identified and drive to closure.
- Lead improvement projects internally within the Supply Chain Team and within the Supply Base to reduce costs, improve quality, reduce supplier lead times, and increase business confidence in supplier delivery performance.
- Provide regular reports to supply chain and program leadership regarding subcontract status, supplier performance, risks/mitigations, and associated supply chain metrics.
- Develop, coach, and manage subcontract specialists and monitor employee performance to goals. Use data analytics and standard tools to measure and monitor subcontract placement and supplier management/performance. Enforce and improve on standard work and cadences. Monitor SC exception reports.
- Maintain knowledge of domain major commodities including industry trends, economic factors, and key suppliers in these commodities.
- Evaluate supply chain needs proactively with the program through the review of forecasts and the identification of potential sources for strategic sourcing considerations.
- Represent Supply Chain in proposal gate reviews for prime proposal capture and submission in accordance with company delegation of authority.
- Intercept front end business opportunities to enable optimized down stream supply chain performance. This includes, but not limited to, early integration on proposals (in coordination with Strategic Sourcing/Material Estimating), drive program accountability, mitigate requisition compression for requirements, and advocate for supply chain with the program team.
- Support the Supply Chain organization executing discrete continuous improvement efforts as identified.
- Analyze statistical data to evaluate supplier performance. Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation. For known issues, support root cause corrective actions including contract management and enforcement.
- Support both internal and external audit teams, including Accounting, Textron Audit Services, DCMA and DCAA. Ensure subcontract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.

The Crewed Land Systems business is seeking a Subcontract Project Manager for the Slidell, LA location. The Project Manager will own a subset of acquisitions for a major defense program, under the supervisor of a Sr. Supply Chain Manager, and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Crewed Land Systems SCM & Program Office.
This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure supplier program execution that meets mission objectives. A successful candidate in this role will be action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and exhibit a team mentality.
Responsibilities:
The Subcontract Project Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
- Partnering with Program Mgt to consolidate subcontractor contractual requirements and specifications into accurate comprehensive requests for proposal (RFP) prior to the issuance of RFPs to prospective subcontractors.
- Examining bid responses and initiating cost and pricing analysis using results thereof combined with program objectives to develop negotiation strategy and negotiate price, terms and work scope.
- Negotiating, placing, and managing of complex, high dollar subcontracts within a government acquisition environment, including both cost and fixed price material and service type subcontracts.
- Originating formal subcontract documents and coordinating inputs and approvals from both functional and programmatic leadership stakeholders including all pertinent government Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements when applicable.
- Understanding the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and critical path for the supplier subset of the program and executing any mitigation efforts to ensure on-time / early completion of tasking.
- Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of subcontractor program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner to Contract requirements.
- Monitoring subcontractor performance, identifying issues early on to implement corrective actions with the Supplier Development team
- Participating in program meetings, obtaining data and requirements which must be transmitted to or obtained from subcontractors via correspondence or telephone.
- Working creatively to solve supplier and external customer problems and communicating program progress both internally and externally.
- Facilitating, maintaining and controlling all correspondence between Textron Systems and subcontractor.

The Weapon Systems business is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager for the Wilmington, MA location. The Manufacturing Project Manager will perform Earned Value management for the Operations group while assisting the Manufacturing Program Manager with executing operational commitments and completing contract deliverable documents. The Manufacturing Project Manager will also own their own projects and will coordinate with key stakeholders to execute activities across Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Logistics and Planning.

- Assist with Control Account Manager responsibilities for program budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and managing variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates, Estimate At Complete analysis, and sales forecast updates.

As a Supplier Development Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring supplier performance and product quality. This role involves evaluating, maintaining, and improving supplier performance, developing data-driven strategies to ensure a reliable supply chain, and driving quality assurance programs through metrics and analytics. By leveraging strong analytical skills and building solid relationships with suppliers, you will support proactive quality improvements across the organization. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Quality, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage onboarding, maintenance, and removal of suppliers from the approved suppliers list (ASL).
• Organize and maintain documentation and required forms and certificates for suppliers.
• Become the subject-matter-expert for supplier compliance forms and approvals.
• Support the Supplier Development Engineering team with predictive analytics of supplier quality and delivery trends through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Develop and maintain visual dashboards and reports for leadership and cross-functional teams to track approved supplier data, quality trends, and proactive metrics to measure supplier performance.
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis on high-priority defects or recurring issues using analytical methods and tools.
• Partner with all supply chain functions (Supplier Development, Sourcing, Procurement, etc) to implement data-backed process improvements and continuous quality enhancements.
• Assist with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) audits.

- Plays an integral part of product Integrated Product Teams (IPT) by effectively interfacing with internal customers on a daily basis, schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.

About ATAC

About This Role
The Director of Safety is an ATAC pilot position that oversees all aspects of ATAC’s flight and ground safety related activities. Reports directly to the ATAC Vice President for Safety on all company-wide safety requirements. The Director of Safety is responsible for leading Flight Safety Managers and coordinating with the Vice Presidents of Operations, Directors of Operations, Chief Pilots, and the Directors of Maintenance for all ground and flight safety related activities. The Director of Safety will lead all efforts to ensure the highest standards of ground and flight safety are maintained in support of ATAC’s mission conducting tactical flight operations.
Responsibilities
- Full compliance with all internal and external safety directives, policies, and procedures.
- Implementation of and review/revision of the SMS and associated enclosures.
- Responsible for ensuring ATAC’s safety program meets the highest safety standards as established by the ATAC President, OSHA, FAA, and federal, state, and local authorities.
- Provide timely safety advice and assistance to the ATAC VP for Safety, VPs of Operations, senior managers, Directors of Operations, Directors of Maintenance, Chief Pilot, and employees at all levels.
- Evaluate and implement the notification system process for flight and ground related mishaps, incidents, and hazards.
- Ensure the distribution of flight and ground safety information.
- Conduct or coordinate flight and ground related mishap investigations and submit mishap safety investigation reports (HAZREPs).
- Track HAZREP recommendation implementation and resolution.
- Responsible for the ATAC Operational Risk Management Program.
- Evaluate flight and ground operations for hazard identification and risk mitigation.
- Provide, oversee, and monitor flight and ground safety training and promotion.
- Conduct flight and ground related safety trend analysis.
- Coordinate with contractors that supply aircraft/services to identify and mitigate risk to ATAC.
- Participate as a member of ATAC, DoD, NTSB and FAA safety committees and councils.
- Deploy as required to support mission requirements.
- Other tasking as directed by VP for Safety.
