About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new FPGA designs with an emphasis on simulation and verification, and the transition of those designs into ASICs. About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer, focused on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly and product transition to production within the development phase of the product life cycle to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing manufacturing engineering input to support new product development, and to optimize design for manufacturability, design for assembly, design to cost, and transition to production. This individual will work alongside the design engineering team during the preliminary development phases of emerging programs to analyze and improve manufacturing cost, quality, and DFX. Responsibilities will also include other upstream activities such as capital equipment, facility requirements, existing and emerging manufacturing technologies, tool design, cost estimating, and configuration control. This individual will work closely with Design Engineering, Engineering Prototype Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, Machinists, and Assembly Technicians to complete initial prototype builds, analyze results, and refine engineering designs.
Our Manufacturing Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to incorporate all necessary cost, quality, and DFX improvements to support advanced emerging programs for military, government, and commercial customers.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide manufacturing engineering input to support new product development, from initial conceptual design to the transition-to-production phase.
• Perform design for manufacturability, design for assembly, and design to cost analyses during the preliminary development phase of emerging programs and drive changes early in product development to improve manufacturability
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Engineering Prototype Technicians, Machinists, Assembly Technicians, and other Manufacturing Engineers to provide a clear line of communication between design and manufacturing.
• Participate in tabletop design reviews and formal CCB reviews.
• Perform make/buy analyses for new designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers for outsourcing activities.
• Determine necessary capital equipment, facility requirements, manufacturing technologies, and other manufacturing requirements for emerging programs.
• Develop manufacturing processes, procedures, tool designs, production layouts, cost estimates, and configuration control methods for efficient manufacturing of new products. • Identify emerging manufacturing technologies and perform cost/benefit analysis for implementation.
• Develop factory floorplans and machine arrangements with facilities to ensure efficient and productive manufacturing flow.

The Structural Engineering Analyst will be responsible for performing advanced structural analysis and design of flight vehicles in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. The position requires extensive expertise in the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) models, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, and other structural analysis software. The analysis techniques used, as well as the compiled results, will be summarized in presentations and detailed design analysis reports.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior structural analyst performing complex static and dynamic structural analyses of flight vehicles in the strategic missiles and reentry vehicle area.
- Utilize a combination of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools (Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB) and Textron developed software tools to generate structural characteristics and responses.
- Define recommended changes to improve the performance/efficiency of structural design features.
- Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in structural analysis techniques and best practices.

The Weapon Systems business is seeking a Program Manager for the Wilmington, MA location. The Program Manager will own a critical subsystem within a growing program and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Program Office.

Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

We are seeking a talented test engineer with an Electrical Engineering background to support a major US Air Force Program. As a Test Engineer, you will perform planning, coordination, and execution of electronic component, subsystem, and full system tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. Responsibilities
· Oversee and execute functional and environmental testing of electronics, including directing and guiding junior test engineers
· Coordinate, schedule and lead test activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards.
· Lead both in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders.
· Generate Test Plans that provide verification method of system requirements and identify necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
· Perform Test Readiness Reviews and produce Test Reports
· Perform preliminary “quick-look” analysis and provide post-test de-brief to engineering team and customers
· Analyze electrical program requirements for consistency and completeness, resolve discrepancies.
· Determine measurement techniques, identify and procure instrumentation, and design test systems to perform requirements verification.
· Provide acceptance criteria specified as measurable parameters for validation of system requirements including digital, analog, and timing outputs
· Analyze and document requirements for automation of test processes, measurement acquisition, and data analysis and for efficient utilization of resources (test range, environmental equipment, etc)
· Analyze and document for test hardware and software engineers strategies for implementation of tests in real world performance conditions including for example min/max parameter limits
· Analyze system interfaces to ensure complete coverage of test requirements.
· Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases
· Collaborate with multi-discipline design team to produce Test Procedures and Data Collection methods.
· Familiarity with Mil-Spec testing requirements as well as vibration, shock, and environmental test methods and equipment is desired

Performs Quality Engineering assignments requiring independent evaluation, selection, and application of standard Quality Engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment and ingenuity in making adaptations and modifications. Work is performed on moderately complex contracts requiring independent execution within a defined set of skills or knowledge area. The Quality Engineer supports product design activities, planning for quality, production activities, data analysis and development of metrics, root cause and corrective action, and process and product improvement.
Responsibilities:
· Reviews customer contracts on simple to moderately complex projects; responsible for requirements analysis, identification and definition.
· Performs quality planning activities including development of Quality Plan, Quality Assurance Directive and Inspection Plan documents as required by the assigned project(s).
· Interfaces with Supplier Quality Engineering to provide guidance and support for supplier issues.
· Uses knowledge of inspection tools and techniques to define inspection requirements.
· Participates in product development and design document reviews targeting DFX
· Participates in process improvement activities through monitoring, root cause investigations, auditing, failure analysis etc.
· Participates in Program Management activities appropriate to the assigned project(s).
· Participates in Contract Data Requirements List development, review and delivery to the customer as required by the assigned project(s).
· Assists in developing fabrication/build processes and standards.

Job Summary:
Provide information systems security support from a managerial and technical standpoint for DoD and Non-DoD classified systems and networks. Standing up and maintaining accreditations for classified systems and networks. Classified Systems & Networks range in complexity and size to include multi-platform computing (Linux, Windows, Solaris, VMWare), virtual environments, and mobile systems. Extensive experience with eMASS, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCSA DAAPM, DISA STIGs. Assemble and maintain security plan accreditation packages per Risk Management Framework (RMF).
ISSO Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
· Provide technical and procedural Information System (IS) Security advice to government and industrial teams.
· Understand, implement, and enforce the security policies and processes that are required by: the NISPOM, DCSA DAAPM, System Security Plans (SSPs), NIST Security Controls.
· Coordinate with PSO or cognizant security official on approval of External Information Systems (e.g. guest systems, interconnected system with another organization).
· Oversee any ISSO/ISSE or Security Analysts under their purview to ensure they follow established IS policies and procedures.
· Assume ISSO/ISSE responsibilities in the absence of other ISSO/ISSE; maintain required IA certifications
· Understand, implement, and enforce security policies and processes to maintain the with respect to: Removable Media Creation, Trusted Download, Safeguarding Classified Information, Classified Markings, Wireless Devices, and relevant System Security Plans (SSPs).
