About This Role
Textron Systems in Goose Creek, SC is looking for a dedicated Sr. Scheduler to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for programs in our Simulation & Training business segment. As a Sr. Scheduler, you will work cross-functionally with program management, engineering, supply chain and operations to develop, manage and report on IRAD, Engineering Development and Production schedules. In this role you’ll also provide mentoring on scheduling best practices to junior schedulers and project managers as requested.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in schedule analytics, planning methods and best practices
- Resolve schedule issues efficiently
- Perform the role of relieving demand and loading demand
- Define and maintain schedule documentation
- Analyze schedules and ensure they accurately represent contractual scope, flow, and resources required to execute the program
- Monitor and improve planning and scheduling processes and procedures
- Analyze operational health metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the development of program baselines, including assigning resources within work-breakdown-structures, assigning earned value methods, and verification of contract budget baseline
- Coordinate with Financial Analysts and provide technical insight on earned value variance analysis to assist CAMs in baseline variance reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

About This Role
Textron Systems’ recent growth has established the need for a full-time entry-level engineering graphics technician with knowledge of using creating, drafting and modifying technical drawings using 3D modeling tools to assist the engineering team in the mechanical design of large-scale assemblies and components that will be used on our Operational Simulators and Maintenance Training Devices. The candidate should have an associate’s degree in engineering graphics. The candidate should be comfortable taking directions and guidance from engineers and therefore must possess strong communication skills. Textron Systems’ Test, Training and Simulation division is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team in Goose Creek, SC. The Program Manager will lead one or more programs within a highly collaborative and growing Program Office.
This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure program execution meets mission objectives and customer expectations. A successful candidate in this role will be action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
· Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of a critical program to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner.
· Applying Earned Value (EV) techniques to monitoring and control of the Performance Measurement Baseline.
· Performing Control Account Manager responsibilities for program budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and managing variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates, Estimate At Complete analysis, and sales forecast updates.

The Weapon Systems business is seeking a Project Manager for the Wilmington, MA location. The Project Manager will own a subset of a major defense program, under the supervisor of a Sr. Program Manager, and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Program Office.

The Project Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
− Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner.
− Understanding the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and critical path for a subset of the program and executing any mitigation efforts to ensure on-time / early completion of tasking.
− Supporting Control Account Managers (CAMs) in execution to a baseline budget – ensuring accurate Estimates to Complete and robust variance reporting from all CAMs supporting a subset of the program.

Major Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the ability to work within a diverse, multifunctional team and, under the supervision of a senior program manager or program director have the responsibilities not limited to the following:
· Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable in a cost-effective manner.
· Perform Control Account Manager responsibilities for program management budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and determine variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates and Estimate At Complete analysis, and sales forecast update.
· Follow management program processes, plans and procedures to ensure program executes based on AS9100 Quality certification requirements and Textron best practices.

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for providing program support and work closely with Program Managers and Sr. Program Managers. This position can be a feeder into the Program Manager career track or other areas such as Finance, Contracts, Business Development, etc.
- Develop and maintain program schedules with guidance from the Principal/Manager, Program Planning & Scheduling.
- Serve as a cross-departmental and cross-organizational conduit for information, job tasks, and material flow.
- Develop, update, and maintain schedule performance metrics, related processes, and management tools within the business units, including, but not limited to, critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.
- Support program managers with coordinating activities of various internal departments to ensure project goals for cost, schedule and scope are maintained.
- Perform Control Account Manager duties on schedule and cost performance, forecasts, and risks.
- Identifies, negotiates, and resolves conflicts between the stakeholders during execution of the program, including Procurement, Integrated Supply Chain, and the Customer.
- Participates in and supports preparation of customer and internal reviews and prepares CAMs for schedule surveillance/audits.
