We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Welding of aluminum materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
- Climbing on and over bulkheads, up and down ladders.
- Tack welding (kneeling, standing, sitting, lying, overhead burning of steel, dragging torch line)
- Use of jacks, porta-powers and come-a longs; some of which can weigh as much as 25 lbs.
- Lifting of material and tools (jacks, porta-powers, come-a longs, etc. Also loading and unloading of parts.
- Crawling through craft on top of tees and through manholes
- Bending and twisting of your body as needed to get into different compartments.
- Operation of cranes, forklifts
- Use of power tools (gougers, skill saws, cut saws, grinders). All require two hands on tools to operate in safe manner
- Walking on tops of frames and tees (uneven walking surfaces)
- Need to be able to work with your hands.

- Job duties include but are not limited to fitting and welding, measuring, laying out, cutting, grinding, forming and drilling of assorted materials (aluminum, steel, stainless, gasket, rubber, screen, etc.).

- Typical tools and equipment used in the performance of duties are: MIG and TIG welders, manual hand tools, mechanical, pneumatic, cordless and electric tools including porta power, come a long, clamps, hammers and mauls, gougers, grinders, saws, band saws, drills, tapes and scales.
- Must be capable of handling chemicals and solvents including alcohol, cleaning solvents, cutting oil, tool oil, etc.
- Housekeeping of shop and work area (keeping work area neat and clean) daily.
- Must visually inspect work to drawings and sketches for completeness and dimensional correctness.

About This Role

A Sr. Field Service Representative performs the actual hands on repair or modification of Sea Systems crafts as directed, and supervises those personnel assigned to assist with these actions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, modifications or builds crafts at customer location
- Mechanical system troubleshooting & repair capability
- Electrical/C4N troubleshooting & repairs capability
- Flight Operations/Deck Hand support
- Aluminum, stainless steel, & inconel welding capability
- Preventive Maintenance capability
- Requires CONUS travel to correct problems or provide support to customer's crafts.
- Interfaces with Customers on reported problems and provides technical information and status updates on a regular basis.
- Generates and maintains data base for Electronic Customer Service Request (ECRS) forms to track daily efforts during on and offsite operations.
- Researches data for service bulletins and assists in writing.
- Initiates RTGM's and PR's to support material requirements.
- Prepares modification kit paperwork.
- Maintains tracking reports for warranty and modification kit control (Computerized Tracking System).
- Reviews trial cards and identifies open work or potential work items which are candidate for modification kits.
- Reviews approved ECR's, DCR's, CICR's, EO's and drawings to determine modification kit requirements.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.

About This Role
A Sr. Matl. Handler with little or no supervision, performs phases of Warehousing and Inventory Control duties as necessary to complete job assignments. This individual is responsible for monitoring progress of all craft under test, forecasting upcoming needs, and resolving them before they become issues. Additionally, they are responsible for resolving any unforeseeable issues which come up in order to keep the test program moving forward in all aspects.
Responsibilities
- Tracks and resolves material shortages for all craft in test
- Prepares Purchase Requisitions for all test tooling and all test equipment
- Tracks and maintains all test tooling and all test equipment
- Interfaces with Test personnel and Quality Inspectors/Engineers to obtain replacement parts for failed components during test activities
- Interfaces with Purchasing on tracking and expediting test equipment and material
- Interfaces with Government personnel on all matters concerning craft equipment and systems, test tooling and test equipment
- Maintains and monitors warehouse inventory systems
- Interfaces with Production and Warehouse personnel to determine origin of replacement parts
- Coordinates with Test Engineers/Maintenance personnel regarding repair parts for test equipment
- Interfaces with warehouse personnel on the issuance of material during testing
- Interfaces with Quality Engineering on test equipment calibration policies and procedures
- Interfaces with subcontractors on purchase requisitions on calibration of all test equipment
- Maintains all departmental records of purchase requisitions and history files of calibration of each tool
- Maintains proper storage of calibrated equipment
- Arranges services for Government personnel during Builders Trials and Acceptance Trials
- Manages and reports on status of open work
- Ensures all calibration equipment complies with Product Instruction Manual
- Maintains all vendor manuals for test support equipment
- Interfaces with departmental cost accountant on department budget expenditure logs in order to track departmental funds for test equipment and maintenance supplies
- Performs various analytical studies in connection with the maintenance of official company material inventory documents, including the Oracle computer system for review of material availability
- Enters all PA&DT material for accountability
- Prepares and processes all requests to transfer Government material between contracts (RTGM) for departmental functions
- Assists the department in maintaining the material history and maintenance data collection systems
- Coordinates scheduling and rental of equipment during acceptance trials activities
- Coordinates material requests that may come via e-mail, phone call, electronic request systems or verbal instruction from all facilities and performing or dispatching employees to pull the material required.
- Perform reviews, research and transactions in the electronic inventory system (Oracle).
- Operate power equipment where required (i.e. forklift, scissors lift, etc. which requires getting up on and coming down from power equipment).
- Maintain communication with the point of contact and co-workers.
- Assist supervision with departmental budgets.
- Works from written and/or verbal instructions.
- Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours as needed to accomplish the task or work with little or no prior notification.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

About This Role
The Director, Contracts shall proactively manage the contracts function for Textron Systems, including its off-site operations and locations. In addition to providing contract leadership, advice and support to business area management and program teams, s/he will be responsible for leading and managing a group of contract professionals in all aspects of contract management. In performing this role, the Director, Contracts will:
Responsibilities
• Ensure the contracts function serves as the primary customer interface and official point of contact for all contractual matters within the business area during all phases of contract formation and administration.
• Supervise, mentor and train contracts personnel reporting directly or indirectly to the Contracts Director in a collegial environment. Design career development plans, create professional development opportunities, and ensure robust succession plans are instituted for all staff members.
• Ensure contracts function provides appropriate business area support in all pre-contract formation activities, such as: review of solicitations and terms and conditions, performance of risk analyses and assessments, participation in bid/no bid decisions, provision of guidance on proposal strategies, development and preparation activities, review of cost proposals, maintenance of cost and pricing data records for TINA compliance, support fact-finding and DCAA audits, and lead negotiations.
• Proactively supervise a staff of contracts professionals who: manage and administer a variety of contracts (government/commercial, domestic/international) of all types (cost reimbursement, fixed price, incentive, award fee, IDIQ, time and material, etc.) and modifications thereto; prepare and coordinate business correspondence; generate required contract-related reports; and maintain accurate and complete contract records for the company and actively oversee closing out completed contracts.
• Remain actively engaged with (and serve as an integral member of) designated business area management and program teams. Develop strong interfaces with other functional areas and maintain close contact with appropriate levels of management as necessary. Participate in program reviews, monitor program performance (contract schedules, deliverables, funding, invoicing, and payments), and notify program leaders and management of potential non-compliances or other problems that could have an adverse impact on the company. Recommend to program leaders and management contract solutions and strategies that will favorably impact the company.
• Supervise and support staff in identification, management and negotiation of contract changes, and coordination and resolution of contract issues internally and with external customers. Provide advice and guidance regarding contract disputes and actively participate in resolution of these matters.
• Ensure contract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
• Serve as an integral member of the Legal and Contracts organization and forge a close working relationship with Legal department members. Ensure coordination with Legal on contract matters that may have legal significance (such as, identifying to Legal non-standard or potentially high risk terms and conditions) prior to advising management of contractual risks, rights and obligations, and terms and conditions interpretations.
