From Our Family to Yours: Giving Back this Holiday Season
December 29, 2025
This holiday season, employees at Textron Systems organized a series of outreach initiatives to give back to our surrounding communities, dedicating both time and resources to make a meaningful impact.
Some of the events that took place across our sites include:
- Our Veterans Network (VETNET) hosted a Toys for Tots® drive across several of our facilities, collecting new toys for children in need. More than 140 gifts were donated in total.
- Many sites also hosted Angel Trees. Two were placed across our Louisiana facilities benefiting St. Tammany Project Christmas, The Covenant House (NOLA) and the Salvation Army. Employees there were able to provide 50 gifts to 40 local children in need. In Blackstone, Va., employees collected more than 230 gifts for their angels.
- In Williamsport, Pa., the Lycoming Engines team collected more than 150 toys and other items for local children listed on their Angel Tree, as well as more than 40 gifts for their Toys for Tots drive. Employees there also raised $4,100 for the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. Every $10 helps feed 40 individuals.
- In Waterboro, Maine, the Howe & Howe team sponsored seven local foster children, donating every item on their holiday wish lists.
- Our Hunt Valley, Md. facility hosted a food drive in coordination with the Baltimore Hunger Project to help provide food for local children in need for the holidays. Approximately 2,000 items were donated, fulfilling 400 snack bags. Additionally, employees in Hunt Valley also donated 91 stuffed animals and 231 pairs of baby socks for newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC).
- Throughout this year, including the month of December, our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) coordinated a road cleanup in front of our Hunt Valley, Md. facility. Employees volunteered their time to sweep sidewalks, pick up trash and debris, rake and shovel leaves and more.
Through these efforts, Textron Systems aimed not only to provide immediate assistance to those facing hardship but also to spread a sense of hope and holiday spirit throughout our community.
We’re proud of our employees’ ongoing efforts to support each other and their communities during the holidays and throughout the year.
