Textron Systems - ATAC provides tactical flight training and adversary aggressor services for U.S. Navy, Marine and Air Force pilots. ATAC operates simultaneously across eight sites and two continents and comprises the world’s largest outsourced civilian, tactical airborne training organization and proudly provides the highest quality live training to Squadrons, Air Wings, and Battle Groups.
Job Summary
- Fly the Dassault Mirage F1 in regular support of U.S. Air Force training and readiness missions. Fly in support of 5th Generation Fighter operational and conversion syllabus and continuation training missions. Support large force employment missions.
- Air Force Contract: Conduct flight operations from Luke AFB or deployed locations. Deploy as required to various locations.
- Job Responsibilities
- Employ the ATAC fighter aircraft throughout their flight envelope as a surrogate Adversary for USAF aircrew or large force employment exercise.
- Maintain FAA instrument currency, First Class medical certification, adversary mission qualifications and associated mission currencies, to include low level, dynamic mission, and unlimited air combat tactics maneuvering in the high-G environment.
- Attend mass briefings, adversary coordination briefings and other pre-flight briefings. Plan and fly adversary missions. Accomplish flight debriefings and attend mass debriefings.
- Adhere to all training rules and pre-briefed maneuvering restrictions.
- Collect and disseminate lessons learned.
- Accomplish necessary ground training prior to flights.
- Deploy as required to support mission requirements.
- Additional Duties: Act as, or support the individual responsible for, pilot Scheduling, Training, Standards & Evaluation, Safety, or other Program Management duties as required.

Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), a division of Textron Systems, provides tactical flight training and adversary services. Textron’s extensive global reach makes for an incomparable training resource, not only for the U.S. military but also for foreign militaries across the globe. Summary
ATAC’s Research & Development Manager for Tactical Aircraft will primarily be responsible for research and evaluation of existing fighter and/or attack aircraft that can effectively be integrated into ATAC’s fleet. This position will report to the Director of Research & Development and will also support the Program Managers directly responsible for upgrades to ATAC’s fleet of aircraft as required by existing and future customers.
Job Responsibilities
· Research existing fighter aircraft that can cost-effectively be integrated into ATACs fleet of aircraft in order to develop winning technical solutions for future proposals.
· Assist with drafting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to industry or foreign governments in order to gain firm pricing and schedule of potential future aircraft.
· Assist the Director of R&D in evaluating potential aircraft acquisitions or modernization upgrades that will satisfy current and future U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force Contracted Air Services (CAS) requirements.
· Assist the R&D Senior Manager of Tactical Mission Systems with integration of electro-optical/infra-red (EO/IR) sensors, electronic warfare (EW) equipment, active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars, and helmet mounted cueing systems (HMCS) onto ATAC aircraft.
· Assist the R&D Chief Engineer with developing and managing systems-level requirements for aircraft avionics, sensors, and systems that meet the customer’s needs and can be used for effective subcontracting.
· Assist the Capture Manager with proposal development, including developing strategy, advocating technical solutions, writing content and editing the work of others.
· Assist aircraft Program Managers with requirements derivation, management, verification and validation efforts.
· Assist aircraft Program Managers with Test & Evaluation planning and execution.

JOB SCOPE:
· Set-up and operate computer and/or electronic controlled machines. Work from operation sheets, specifications, blue prints, manuals, etc. Use shop mathematics, handbook formulas and a variety of precision instruments and a working knowledge of the cutting qualities of material, machine feeds and speeds to perform necessary functions to operate machine i.e. load, locate and align part in fixture. Install specified numerical control tape at designated position in tape reader place all console on operation station switches, selectors and controls in proper sequence and various operations necessary to complete machine operations. Must determine cause of malfunction and make necessary adjustments. Review Cordax readouts, assist Tool Design, as needed, in new fixture, program readouts, and setup during the period of operation for required quality of parts. Maintain the set-up during the period of operation and correct tooling faults and tryout set-ups.

About This Role
The Manager, Supply Chain will lead a team of subcontract specialists to enable the negotiation and execution of complex subcontracts with major suppliers and ensure oversight of the supply base coupled with monitoring, escalating, reporting and driving action of the supply base. This position further serves as the Electronic Systems domain supply chain lead with direct support responsibility to the domain program leadership. Customer relationship management and supply chain execution are key measures for this position, all with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Responsibilities
· Serve as the supply chain lead to the Electronic Systems domain programs. Engage in regular communications, attend program reviews, and provide supply chain feedback and take action on items of program importance or concern (e.g. risky suppliers and mitigation, delivery status, cost growth concerns, among others).
· Coordinate and align with other supply chain resources/functions to meet customer objectives. (Supplier Development, Strategic Sourcing, Sourcing Engineering, Data Analytics, Tactical Procurement). Escalate issues as identified.
· Provide regular reports to supply chain and program leadership regarding subcontract status, supplier performance, risks/mitigations, and associated supply chain metrics.
· Develop, coach, and manage subcontract specialists and monitor employee performance to goals. Use data analytics and standard tools to measure and monitor subcontract placement and supplier management/performance. Enforce and improve on standard work and cadences. Monitor SC exception reports.
· Evaluate supply chain needs proactively with the program through the review of forecasts and the identification of potential sources for strategic sourcing considerations.
· Maintain expertise in major commodities and drivers for the ES Domain while proactively engaging early in business opportunities—supporting proposal strategy, gate reviews, and drive program accountability—to optimize downstream supply chain performance, advocate for supply chain needs, and execute targeted continuous improvement initiatives.
· Support the Supply Chain organization executing discrete continuous improvement efforts as identified.
· Support both internal and external audit teams, including Accounting, Textron Audit Services, DCMA and DCAA. Ensure subcontract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.

SUMMARY
The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance processes, implement quality control measures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of protocols and procedures to ensure products are manufactured and assembled to the highest standards. Additionally, the Senior Quality Engineer will lead process improvement activities at supplier facilities to enhance product quality for Lycoming Engines. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Six Sigma methodologies, AS9100 standards, and FAA regulatory requirements. A deep understanding of advanced quality tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Value Stream Mapping is essential. In this role, the Senior Quality Engineer will play a critical part in maintaining and elevating the quality standards of our products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES

The Pricing & Estimating Sr. Manager oversees the department’s performance, staffing, and development while leading the creation of compliant, well-supported pricing proposals for government and commercial customers. About This Role
Ruggedized Test develops and produces RF and EO/IR devices that help ensure that military aircraft can safely perform their missions. These devices test the communications and aircraft survivability equipment that keep the warfighter in the air. The A2PATS provides real RF simulations of signals and effects a radar receiver would experience when in operational use.
