On October 26, 2018, the U.S. Air Force announced a competitive, multiple year award to Textron Systems for continued Aerosonde SUAS Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated operations at Bagram Airfield and Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan.
Textron Systems has continuously supported the U.S. Air Force with Aerosonde SUAS operations at these locations since 2013 under a contract with the U.S. Navy.
