About This Role
A Production Planner will develop and manage the execution of the production schedule as a result of line of balance output, taking into consideration the available capacity, material availability and program delivery commitments. A Production Planner communicates to leadership and program managers the manufacturing status, expected completion dates and production risk analysis based on internal and external supply.
Responsibilities:
· Partners with procurement, production manager, quality, engineering, and program management, and other supply chain disciplines to proactively plan, schedule, and effectively manage development, production, and aftermarket support environments.
· Manages and own the execution of items associated with their planner code, to include release of internal jobs to the program, factory, release of purchase requisitions, manage disruptions in the internal factory (shortages, MRB, internal and external constraints), and provides feedback to internal customers.
· Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
· Monitors internal and external supply chain alignment – identifies and resolves potential constraints, maintains line of balance (build through) and purchase requests for the production or purchase of components / parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
· Plays an integral part of product Integrated Product Teams (IPT) by effectively interfacing with internal customers.
· Assists management in the development and execution of plans for assigned products to maximize scheduled on-time completion. Analyzes supply and demand data and reports to determine critical path constraints.
· Manages manual demand for top/down & bottom-up releases, facilitates ECN/ECP changes and coordinates production cut-ins. Reviews excess material for possible consumption in other jobs. Creates material transfers, borrow/payback transactions and PO change requests.
· Respond to ad hoc requests from management and other departments, providing timely and accurate analysis and reports.

The Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Compliance Analyst for Textron Systems, is primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with the 32 EVM guidelines across the company for their assigned programs. This role requires integration with the program teams and acts as a support function providing guidance, training, document review, internal surveillance prep as well as interaction with DCMA, DCAA and customers.
The Compliance Analyst, will be primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with EVM guidance across the company. This includes applying project management oversight to assigned projects, developing/designing and implementing new or revised departmental policies, programs, techniques, and methods. Will provide financial and scheduling guidance to Program Management teams through the EV Core Team. Position requires a working knowledge of the Earned Value Management (EVM) Industry Standard, EIA 748 (current version).
Responsibilities include:
Level 2 Responsibilities Include:
- Supports the development and preparation of program baselines and financial forecasts, estimate at complete (EAC) development and reviews, preparation of financial packages, EVMS reporting and compliance support, audit support, baseline development, financial and investigative analysis, and real-time information and analysis to PMs, CAMs and Finance Management.
- Closely supports PM team and collaborates with other functions including scheduling, contracts, procurement, ops finance, and central finance
- Supports Textron Systems EVMS policy, process, tools, training and performance assessment

This position will be part of the Systems Integration and Test (SIT) Engineering team focusing on supporting the Ship-to-Shore Connector (SSC) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC), next generation hovercraft program. Primary duties would be supporting the rollout of production crafts into testing; troubleshooting a variety of multi-discipline, complex issues throughout testing and systems integration; driving continuous improvement through feedback to design/quality/manufacturing and root cause analysis (RCA); and supporting fielded crafts in concert with our Navy customer.

As a Principal Program Master Scheduler, you will work cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations to develop, manage and report on Engineering Development and Production schedules. Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Director is an advanced technical resource in the principles and application of quality systems and compliance, responsible for developing goals, objectives and the organizations quality strategies. The role executes alignment of procedures, processes and resources related to the Quality Management System and helps drive the Quality Engineering team, a Nondestructive Test Lab, Receiving and In-process Inspection, Calibration and internal auditing in support of the entire Quality Management System. The Quality Assurance Director also serves as a key liaison between Textron Systems and our customers, ensuring that mutual quality interests are aligned to enable product maturation and delivery.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Developing overall culture for continuous improvement in Quality.

About This Role
The Uncrewed Land and Air Systems team in Hunt Valley is seeking a skilled System Safety Engineer to support development of advanced ground robotics and airborne systems. Our group leads multiple cutting-edge defense programs, and we are looking for engineers who are eager to apply broad technical expertise to deliver safe, reliable, mission-critical robotic solutions.
In this role, you will identify hazards, assess and categorize risk, and recommend mitigations to reduce the probability or severity of mishaps that could impact personnel, equipment, or the environment. You will collaborate closely with government partners, vendors, and end users to ensure the safety and compliance of Department of War (DoW) weapon systems and platforms. You will apply established scientific and engineering principles to guide the development and implementation of effective safety measures that reduce risk to the warfighter.
As a system safety engineer on our team, you’ll work in a dynamic environment supporting comprehensive system safety programs across a diverse portfolio, which may include radar systems, unmanned systems, ground-based missile systems, surface vessels and support equipment, or laser systems. You will plan, execute and lead Systems Safety programs in accordance with MIL-STD-882E. You will develop and review standard system safety work products, including System Safety Program Plans (SSPP); Preliminary Hazard Analyses (PHA); Subsystem and System Hazard Analyses (SSHA/SHA); Operating and Support Hazard Analyses (O&SHA); Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) analyses; Safety Assessment Reports (SAR); safety releases; and test report evaluations.
You will analyze system data, develop deliverables, and present safety findings and recommendations. You will review safety artifacts for compliance with requirements, policy, and guidance, while following established plans and quality standards. The role also provides opportunities to improve processes, enhance methodologies, and contribute to the advancement of the system safety discipline. In addition, you will lead and mentor junior engineers, supporting their growth and strengthening the team’s capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Hazard Analysis & Risk Management (MIL-STD-882)
- Perform and support system safety analyses in accordance with MIL-STD-882 tasks, including:
- Task 101: Review hazard analyses and test documentation for validity.
- Task 106: Review contractor design artifacts and document single-point failures.
- Task 201 & 202: Complete Preliminary Hazard Lists (PHL) and Preliminary Hazard Analyses (PHA).
- Task 204 & 205: Complete Sub-System Hazard Analyses (SSHA) and System Hazard Analyses (SHA).
- Task 207: Complete Health Hazard Analyses (HHA), including Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Identify hazards and implement mitigations to achieve target mishap risk in coordination with design managers.
- Review System Requirements documentation to identify potential hazardous conditions and make recommendations to system design in collaboration with program staff.
Perform operational analysis to identify potential deficiencies in operating procedures, training documentation, maintenance procedures, storage and handling procedures, and/or ordnance handling procedures. Make recommendations to resolve deficiencies
Database Management & Tracking
- Enter, track, control, and document risks using the HTS.
- Participate in tabletop reviews and testing of the HTS.
Program Support & Documentation
- Support the update and execution of a System Safety Management Plan (SSMP).
- Prepare and draft written documentation, including management plans, special topic papers, and technical reports.
- Review program documentation, drawings, and analyses provided by contractors.
Collaboration & Integration
- Collaborate effectively with the Program Manager’s staff, sponsors, and Engineering Technical Authorities.
- Maintain alignment with the Program’s Integrated Government Schedule (IGS) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Attend government, stakeholder, and contractor meetings regarding system safety.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify areas in design requiring safety improvements.
