Job Summary
The Textron Systems – Weapons team is seeking a Configuration Management Manager to lead configuration management activities across multiple programs at our Wilmington, MA location. The successful candidate will guide and support our Program & Engineering teams in applying industry standard configuration management practices throughout the product lifecycle.
In this role, you will lead a team of CM analysts, oversee CM processes and tools across the business, and ensure compliance with internal, industry, and Government standards. You will serve as the primary authority for configuration identification, baseline management, change control, status accounting, and configuration audits to support program execution and product integrity.
About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Lead and manage CM activities across all programs, ensuring cost, quality, and schedule objectives are supported.
Oversee configuration identification, baseline management, change control, status accounting, and configuration audits in accordance with AS9100D, MIL-HDBK-61A, and EIA-649.
Interpret complex specifications, contractual data, and hardware and software requirements, and provide expert guidance to program teams.
Serve as the owner of CCB processes across the business; delegate chair responsibilities as needed while ensuring consistent and compliant execution.
Coordinate and participate in Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), ensuring delivered products meet approved baseline requirements; assemble audit data packages and manage actions.
Oversee documentation creation and change activities to ensure proper application of PLM/ERP requirements during release.
Manage the preparation, assembly, and review of periodic Technical Data Package (TDP) deliveries to Government and customer entities.
Support updates and improvements to configuration management policies and procedures in alignment with evolving standards and program needs.
Ensure compliance with internal quality system requirements and participate in internal and external audits as required.
Oversee CM tools and systems, ensuring data integrity, effective workflows, and continuous improvement of CM processes.
Manage, mentor, and develop configuration management team members; provide leadership, direction, and performance oversight.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and external customers to ensure seamless configuration control throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure that contractual delivery requirements for engineering documents and data are met.

This role will work closely with mechanical design engineers, systems engineers, manufacturing, test, suppliers, and program leadership to ensure mechanical hardware is delivered on schedule and meets all technical, quality, and performance requirements. The candidate should possess good communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting within a multidiscipline team. - Participating in resolving non-conformances related to mechanical parts and assemblies that develop during builds in preparation for hardware delivery to our program customer.

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Purchase materials from supplies at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
Study market trends, interview vendors and recommends sources of supply
Solicit and analyze quotations required to satisfy all the requirements of the authorizing source documentation
Monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries of quality products to maintain production, following up on orders to expedite shipment and delivery as needed

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team in supporting strategic weapon system and subsystem technical design solutions for our Advanced Programs. As a Systems Engineer IV, you will perform a variety of assignments including requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, and test. A strong candidate will possess at least 10 years’ experience in a Systems Engineering role. - Participate in overall requirements traceability, system architecture definition, interface management, and risk management for assigned subsystem

About This Role
System Administrators collaborate with a diverse team to support classified information systems. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments supporting the warfighters. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and develop solutions to solve infrastructure problems. Knowledge of Windows and Linux desktop and server operating systems is required. The System Administrator works closely with other System Administrators and Information Security Team, and is responsible for information system patching, anti-virus updates and installations, vulnerability management, and user account management.
The expectation for this role is automation of security logging and monitoring, automated patch management, and automated remediation of vulnerabilities to air gapped networks.
