- Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to architect, lead, and execute the integration of UAS platforms with mission-critical subsystems—including automated target recognition (ATR), navigation and control algorithms, communication systems, and diverse payloads.
- Work on complex technical problems and develop highly innovative solutions that enable seamless interoperability across hardware, software, autonomy, and mission-system components.
- Lead end-to-end integration activities that bring together third-party sensors, autonomy modules, onboard computing, and communication links to transform baseline UAS into complete mission-ready systems.
- Oversee the development and integration of advanced mission payloads, including EO/IR and AI-enabled perception systems, ensuring compatibility with onboard processing, data pathways, and vehicle command-and-control.
- Direct the implementation and tuning of navigation, guidance, and control algorithms, resilient navigation approaches, and closed-loop system validation.
- Manage system-level communications integration, ensuring robust data links, network interoperability, and compliance with operational and security requirements.
- Establish and refine integration processes, technical standards, and system verification strategies for complex UAS mission architectures.
- Lead simulation-based system validation, including high-fidelity modeling of autonomy, sensor performance, communication networks, and mission workflows to reduce risk prior to flight testing.
- Oversee test planning and execution across laboratory, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), field-test, and flight-test environments to validate integrated system performance under realistic operational conditions.
- Conduct sophisticated diagnostics and root-cause analyses across mechanical, electrical, software, and algorithmic domains to rapidly resolve integration challenges.
- Provide technical leadership in cross-functional design reviews and ensure alignment of mission requirements, system architecture, and verification plans across all UAS subsystems.

In this role, the Sr. Contracts Specialist shall proactively provide support to contract management and directors of a particular in administering government, international and commercial contracts. Under the direction of leadership, they will support all aspects of contract management throughout the contracting process, from pre-proposal activities through contract closure. In performing this role, the Contracts Specialist will:
- Support the review and risk analysis of solicitations and terms and conditions in coordination with your supervisor.
- Participate in bid/no bid decisions and proposal review meetings.
- Review cost proposals, maintain cost and pricing data records for TINA compliance, support fact-finding, DCAA audits, and negotiations.
- Proactively administer a variety of contracts (government/commercial, domestic/international) of all types (cost reimbursement, fixed price, incentive, award fee, IDIQ, time and material, etc.) and modifications thereto.
- Prepare and coordinate business correspondence, generate required contract-related reports, and maintain accurate and complete contract files and records for the company.
- Remain actively engaged with (and serve as an integral member of) designated program teams and develop strong interfaces with personnel in other functional areas.
- Participate in program reviews, monitor program performance (contract schedules, deliverables, funding, invoicing, and payments), and notify contract managers or directors of potential non-compliances or other problems that could have an adverse impact on the company.
- Identify and administer contract changes and coordinate resolution of contract issues with your supervisors.
- Actively administer the closeout of completed contracts.
- Ensure contract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
- Ensure coordination with Legal on contract matters that may have legal significance (such as, identifying to Legal non-standard or potentially high-risk terms and conditions) prior to advising management of contractual risks, rights and obligations, and terms and conditions interpretations.
Required Skills:

The Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Compliance Analyst for Textron Systems, is primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with the 32 EVM guidelines across the company for their assigned programs. This role requires integration with the program teams and acts as a support function providing guidance, training, document review, internal surveillance prep as well as interaction with DCMA, DCAA and customers.
The Sr Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Compliance Analyst, will be primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with EVM guidance across the company. This includes applying project management oversight to assigned projects, developing/designing and implementing new or revised departmental policies, programs, techniques, and methods. Will provide financial and scheduling guidance to Program Management teams through the EV Core Team. Position requires a working knowledge of the Earned Value Management (EVM) Industry Standard, EIA 748 (current version).
Responsibilities include:
Level 2 Responsibilities Include:
- Supports the development and preparation of program baselines and financial forecasts, estimate at complete (EAC) development and reviews, preparation of financial packages, EVMS reporting and compliance support, audit support, baseline development, financial and investigative analysis, and real-time information and analysis to PMs, CAMs and Finance Management.
- Closely supports PM team and collaborates with other functions including scheduling, contracts, procurement, ops finance, and central finance
- Supports Textron Systems EVMS policy, process, tools, training and performance assessment

- Reviews BCRs, CPRs, IPMRs, VARs, CAPs, WADs for compliance with AAI and Government requirements

- Supports customer audits and reviews to include program management team preparation for DCMA’s yearly Standard Surveillance Plan

About This Role
The Financial Analyst position conducts analysis, maintains forecasts, and provides EACs for various programs. Under direction of the Manager, Finance, the Analyst will generate and track monthly budgets, cost projections, and variance analysis, in addition to various Earned Value reports within the Weapons Systems Operating Unit.
Level II Responsibilities
- Support assigned programs with timely analysis, financial modeling and recommendations for decision making.
- Use analysis to identify and investigate program issues and advise on appropriate course of action.
- Conduct program analysis, maintain forecasts and provide monthly Estimate at Completion (EACs).
- Establish and maintain standard corporate financial reports and program Earned Value status reports.
- Provide real time information to the Manager, Finance regarding changes in program financials and execution.
- Analyze program data to ensure estimates are accurate and complete and are in accordance with SOX and Internal Controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
Level III Responsibilities
- Use analysis and financial data to advise program managers and business leaders during monthly reviews and during critical business decisions.
- Serve as primary liaison between Finance and Program leadership teams
- Provide real time information to the Manager, Finance regarding changes in program financials and execution.
- Establish and maintain baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (Deltek Cobra) and lead the Program Team in Earned Value data reviews
- Create and maintain standard financial reports: orders, sales, cost, profit and cash flow forecasts, Monthly Program Status Reports, Earned Value reports
- Mentor and train junior staff to ensure robust Finance talent pipeline
- Analyze program data to ensure estimates are accurate and complete and are in accordance with SOX and Internal Controls.

Job Summary:
Textron has need for a full time Mechanical Engineering Specialist with a minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical and specialized tooling/handling equipment design. The candidate should be comfortable as a cognizant designer of mechanical systems for military applications. The candidate should be familiar with manufacturing environments and understand the tooling and equipment needed to aid fabrication and assembly. The candidate should also be well versed in Siemens NX CAD design software and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Job Description:
Generate high quality 2D and 3D CAD files in NX
Prepare and update detail design drawings, assembly drawings, Indented Parts Lists primarily for military applications.
Applies the following in the creation of technical data packages: ANSI Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing, military standards and specifications, manufacturing and assembly processes.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to research, analyze and implement design solutions with attention to design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA).
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis calculations.
