We believe people should love what they do – as a Sr Welder, you will be responsible for:
· Welding of Ballistic Steel materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
· Some work will have to pass RT, PT, and NDT type testing.
· Climbing on and over bulkheads, up and down ladders.
· Tack welding (kneeling, standing, sitting, lying, overhead burning of steel, dragging torch line)
· Use of jacks, porta-powers and come-a longs; some of which can weigh as much as 25 lbs.
· Lifting of material and tools (jacks, porta-powers, come-a longs, etc. Also loading and unloading of parts.
· Crawling through vehicle on top of floor plates and through hatch/door openings.
· Bending and twisting of your body as needed to get into different compartments.
· Operation of cranes and forklifts.
· Use of power tools (gougers, skill saws, cut saws, grinders). All require two hands on tools to operate in safe manner
· Walking on top of vehicle roof and bottom plates when position in the rollover fixture to achieve welding on a flat.
· Need to be able to work with your hands.

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance the functionality, safety, and performance of our manufacturing processes and tooling.
Responsibilities:
Automation System Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and implement automation systems.
Control System Development: Design and implement control algorithms, software, and hardware for automation.
Sensor Integration: Identify, evaluate, and integrate AI, sensors, cameras, LiDAR, radar, and other relevant technologies to provide accurate data inputs for the automation systems. Ensure seamless communication between sensors and control systems.

About This Role
A Welding Engineer III develops, manages, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of a sound welding program and processes through improved weld processes, design specification review, techniques, inspections, and safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and document welding processes in accordance with national and military standards and/or specifications.
- Review welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
- Develops and executes weld qualification procedures.
- Creates, submits, and manages Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) documents.
- Works with management to identify problems and recommend resolutions of welding processes, issues and concerns.
- Directly interface with the product design engineering team to ensure design for process and manufacturing requirements are addressed and met.
- Assist and support manufacturing, other support groups, and training center as it relates to weld processes, weld related defects (to include the assistance with repair/rework dispositions to address defects), weld sequencing, and any other weld related needs.
- Keep abreast of state-of-the-art welding technologies and safety procedures used throughout the industry.

About This Role
The Marine Systems business is seeking a Subcontract Project Manager for the New Orleans, LA location. The Project Manager will own a subset of acquisitions for a major defense program, under the supervisor of a Sr. Subcontracts Manager, and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Marine Systems SCM & Program Office.
This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure supplier program execution that meets mission objectives. A successful candidate in this role will be action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and exhibit a team mentality.
Responsibilities:
The Subcontract Project Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
· Partnering with Program Mgt to consolidate subcontractor contractual requirements and specifications into accurate comprehensive requests for proposal (RFP) prior to the issuance of RFPs to prospective subcontractors.
· Examining bid responses and initiating cost and pricing analysis using results thereof combined with program objectives to develop negotiation strategy and negotiate price, terms and work scope.
· Negotiating, placing, and managing of complex, high dollar subcontracts within a government acquisition environment, including both cost and fixed price material and service type subcontracts.
· Originating formal subcontract documents and coordinating inputs and approvals from both functional and programmatic leadership stakeholders including all pertinent government Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements when applicable.
· Understanding the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and critical path for the supplier subset of the program and executing any mitigation efforts to ensure on-time / early completion of tasking.
· Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of subcontractor program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner to Contract requirements.
· Monitoring subcontractor performance, identifying issues early on to implement corrective actions with the Supplier Development team
· Participating in program meetings, obtaining data and requirements which must be transmitted to or obtained from subcontractors via correspondence or telephone.
· Working creatively to solve supplier and external customer problems and communicating program progress both internally and externally.
· Facilitating, maintaining and controlling all correspondence between Textron Systems and subcontractor.

About This Role
The Principal Export/Import Compliance Analyst will proactively oversee all export compliance matters for Textron Marine & Land located in Slidell, Louisiana. S/he will interact with employees at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the business and members of the Legal, Contracts & Compliance Department staff on a variety of interesting international trade compliance matters. The role requires successful management of a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• May serve as an Empowered Official
• Provide a full range of proactive export compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, business development, shipping, security and other functional areas within the Company
• Prepare and submit DDTC and Commerce license applications, Technical Assistance
• Assist in the research and interpretation of export compliance regulations
• Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and Warehousing Distribution Agreements
• Determine the applicability of ITAR exemptions, ECCNs and use of Commerce exceptions
• Work collaboratively with in-house attorneys and outside counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Support responses to Customs queries such as CF28s & CF29s.
• Provide support in connection with internal/external audits and investigations
• Track application status, maintain database of granted export approvals, satisfy record-keeping requirements, and prepare required reports
• Perform self-assessments
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date Export Compliance Policies, Procedures and Manuals
• Plan and conduct employee training

About This Role
A Maintenance Weld Technician, under general supervision, is required to perform any and all tasks assigned by management based on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
· Primary duties may include performing complex troubleshooting and repairs on welding equipment, maintaining welding machines and welding machine accessories, providing production support as needed and performing equipment preventative maintenance related to production equipment.
· Additional duties may include performing light mechanical duties, light electrical duties, painting, light carpentry, and general equipment preventative maintenance.
· Perform preventative and repair tasks related to facility equipment using diagnostics devices (i.e. welding machine load bank, multimeter, amp probe, phase meter, etc.) which are all provided by the Company.
· Be able to read and work from electrical schematics and to trace electrical wiring.
· May direct activities or tasks of other employees.
· Maintain records, forms, and logs as required.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

A Sr Quality Inspector is performing a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and/or electronic inspection and test operations to determine adherence to standards, specifications, drawing requirements, procedures, etc. on any or all types of procured and production equipment, subassemblies, components, or assemblies as directed.
Responsibilities:
· Inspection and test of parts, materials, components and systems in one or more of the following areas: Receiving, Shipping, Stores, Weld/Fabrication, Assembly, Testing, Calibration, Radiography, and Coating Inspections.
· Visually examinations by means of instruments, gauges, jigs, templates or other measuring devices to include nondestructive test methods to insure adherence to standards, specifications, drawing, etc.
· May operate standard calibration and test equipment.
· Rejects parts, materials, assemblies, equipment, tooling or components which do not meet requirements.
· Performs and may assist/train other inspectors in inspections, non-destructive testing, x-ray, calibration, coatings, and observations and functional testing (including electrical, mechanical, structural etc.)
· Reviews software data on vendor supplied items to determine acceptability.
· Generates Quality reports, completes Inspection Check Lists, nonconformance documents, calibration reports, x-ray, and other Quality documents/records as applicable to the specific area assigned.
· Adheres to all safety requirements, departmental instructions and TMLS Policies and Procedures.
· Interface directly with all levels of the organization, suppliers and customers, as appropriate.
· Performs any and all other duties assigned by management.

About This Role

- Passing Textron’s aluminum MIG (GMAW) weld test procedure
- Perform as a productive working team member that meets daily goals set by the supervisor.
- MIG welding of aluminum materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
- Use of power tools (gougers, circular saws, grinders) in a safe, compliant manor
- Operate cranes and forklifts
- Assist supervisor to maintain control of department equipment and its maintenance.
- May instruct and mentor less-skilled welders, as assigned
- Works with a sense of urgency, efficiency and productive out put

- Ensure correct construction procedures are adhered to
- Ability to work shifts or overtime as required, must be flexible

- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and correct basic weld pick up, with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to weld groove/butt joints with satisfactory radiographic testing (NDT)
- Demonstrated ability to back step and sequence weld based upon provided information and/or good welding practices
