About This Role
Manufacturing engineering (ME) is a creative activity. The ME is responsible for managing the design, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing processes, programming of equipment and products, and recommending capital improvements in our manufacturing, assembly, and test areas. ME’s are required to have expertise in a wide range of manufacturing technologies including computer and management control systems including project management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide manufacturing engineering support to operations including day-to-day problem solving and maintenance of all process documentation
· CNC machining responsibilities including specifying tooling, overseeing tool design activities related to CNC programming, tool offsets, feeds/speeds, and tool/fixture/gage designs
· Implement cost reduction by working closely with engineering, manufacturing and other disciplines to reduce scrap and waste, and evaluate/improve assembly and manufacturing methods
· Develop manufacturing routings
· Determine equipment needs and create cost justification
· Assist in equipment validation
· Manage projects
· Maintain records and schedules of work assigned
· Perform process validation and machine capability studies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, developing, directing, counseling and disciplining employees in a fair and consistent manner

· Administer the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and collaborate with union leaders in the resolution of shop issues

JOB SCOPE:
· Perform all operations within a continuous flow-manufacturing cell, utilizing the skills and ability to run all machines, as well as test equipment including burring within the cell, part washing, measurement and recording of inspection results using electronic gauging and all other inspection equipment for data collection.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner.
· Perform assigned work to specify quality and production standards.

About This Role
The Senior Painter at Textron Systems will be responsible for surface preparation, applying protective and/or decorative prime, finish paint coatings, and spall liners with a high focus on quality. The Senior Painter will work independently on complex paint jobs and surface preparation and assist junior painters with guidance.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Ability to determine areas of parts, assemblies, equipment and/or products to be painted, type and color of paint or other material to apply in accordance with prints, sketches, written/verbal instructions, procedures, and military/ commercial specifications.
- Knowledgeable and able to perform all surface preparation including media blasting, sanding, cleaning and masking surfaces.
- Able to set up, adjust and operate paint spraying equipment and drying ovens maintaining thickness of coating in conformance with specifications.
- Perform spray booth painting on a large variety of assemblies typically in small batch lots.
- Perform spall liner installation to include adhesive mixing and preparation
- In addition to mixing and applying various types of primers and paints the candidate will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all paint equipment, spray booth, air systems, and rail system.
- Interact with internal customers and external vendors regarding processes and products.
- Expected to practice FOD control (clean as you go)!
- Ability to follow OSHA and Textron System’s safety rules and regulations regarding protective personal equipment and performance of work tasks.

About This Role

We believe people should love what they do – as a Sr Welder, you will be responsible for:
· Welding of Ballistic Steel materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
· Some work will have to pass RT, PT, and NDT type testing.
· Climbing on and over bulkheads, up and down ladders.
· Tack welding (kneeling, standing, sitting, lying, overhead burning of steel, dragging torch line)
· Use of jacks, porta-powers and come-a longs; some of which can weigh as much as 25 lbs.
· Lifting of material and tools (jacks, porta-powers, come-a longs, etc. Also loading and unloading of parts.
· Crawling through vehicle on top of floor plates and through hatch/door openings.
· Bending and twisting of your body as needed to get into different compartments.
· Operation of cranes and forklifts.
· Use of power tools (gougers, skill saws, cut saws, grinders). All require two hands on tools to operate in safe manner
· Walking on top of vehicle roof and bottom plates when position in the rollover fixture to achieve welding on a flat.
· Need to be able to work with your hands.

This position requires strong leadership, inventory control, and the ability to train junior employees. This role combines general manufacturing duties with specialized finishing skills. Job Summary:
Responsible for the oversight of operations within the warehouse and shipping facility to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. This includes the planning, coordinating, and monitoring of warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the required support groups and manufacturing to deliver materials on time for production needs.
- Establish warehouse and shipping practices and protocols to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Continuously drive improvement of critical metrics such as safety, product quality, delivery performance, cost and growth. Develop and implement strategies that result in significant inventory turn/reduction improvements without compromising on-time delivery performance.
- Lead the team in setting and achieving team goals, conducting efficient team meetings and effective problem solving.
- Facilitate member commitment, contribution, and innovation with careful and consistent application of group leadership techniques.
- Interface with the leader's counterpart from the customer's organization to ensure necessary communication, identification of issues, and management of action items with the customer.
