About the Role
Textron Systems Electronic Systems builds advanced test, simulation, and training solutions that support Electronic Warfare (EW) missions domestic and abroad. Our technology helps replicate real world radar and missile threats—on the flight line, in the lab, and on the test range—to ensure aircraft sensors and pilots are prepared for today’s rapidly evolving electromagnetic environment.
As a Configuration Management (CM) professional, you’ll help ensure our products are controlled, documented, and delivered with precision—supporting systems that directly impact mission readiness.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage the five functions of CM (configuration identification, configuration change management, configuration status accounting, and configuration verification and audit).
• Develop and maintain CM Plans
• Lead and conduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) to ensure delivered products meet the product baseline and specified requirements.
• Co-chair Change Control Boards (CCB) with customers and suppliers.
• Review documentation creation and change activities to ensure proper use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system requirements.
• Coordinating preparation and delivery of Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
• Support Quality Management System (QMS) audits.
• Use Microsoft Office tools (Access, Excel, Project, Word, Outlook) for documentation, reviews, and deliverables.
• Performing Software CM tasks, including media processing, documentation review, build procedure witnessing, and artifact management.
• Ensuring accurate and timely electronic delivery of files and configuration documents.
• Performing quality assurance checks to ensure configuration data integrity

About This Role
This role is in Textron System’s Land Systems - Crewed Land business area.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, testing and support of future Family of vehicles for Land systems, as well as integration of vehicular components, sub systems, in conjunction with new design, product improvement, field and production problem resolution.
- Creating electrical schematics, harnessing design, and drawings in CAD system such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Performing engineering calculations, writing specifications, formulating sketches, testing criteria, failure analysis, and cost estimates.
- Providing technical support to both internal and external customers for technical data package delivery.
- Supporting Prototype build, troubleshooting and documentation as required.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design, switching power supply design, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs. The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice and other simulation products. Job Summary:
Textron Systems, Electronic Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to develop solutions for a variety of technical challenges. The Electrical Engineer will engage in a variety of technical projects including electro-optical/infrared and laser systems, printed circuit board design, control systems, and multidisciplinary technical leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as technical lead for EO/IR system architecture, simulation design, system modeling, optical analysis, and performance optimization.
- Designing and integrating optical systems, microcontrollers, servo motors and the physical systems that encompass them.
- Developing control loops, processing algorithms and simulation environments for optical systems.
- Architecture planning and system level design. Perform system-level analysis, data interpretation, and performance assessments to validate and improve EO/IR designs.
- Solving complex problems that may require research and analysis of alternatives involving many factors.
- Working independently to determine and develop innovative solutions.
- Contributing to and/or leading a team for the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
- Writing interface control documents, specifications, and test procedures for designs.
- Reporting status including schedule progress and problems/issues.
- Working closely with hardware in a lab setting, and debugging using lab equipment (e.g. optical testbench, Digital Oscilloscope) in a laser-safe environment.
- Engineering resource for production to debug and troubleshoot anomalies (including power and circuit board issues).
You will be part of highly skilled team and need to interface with other team members, including those of other engineering disciplines. Additional job duties could include systems level requirements analysis, design, and proposal input. You may also be involved in system testing for products you’re a part of and aid with fielding and/or training of the customer. Experienced engineers will rely on you to lead a project and mentor junior engineers.

About This Role
Textron Systems is looking for a part time Associate Hardware Designer to support our uncrewed military product lines such as Aerosonde, Common Unmanned Surface Vessel, and Ripsaw. In this position you will be responsible for creating and checking technical content and data packages for various components, sub-assemblies and top-level assemblies, payloads, and support equipment.
As an Associate Designer, you will receive tasks from Senior Designers and Engineers. Tasking will include development of electro-mechanical devices and equipment, working with engineers on the creation and checking of engineering documentation to support production and technical data packages (concepts, layouts, drawings, 3D models, parts lists, Engineering Change Notices, (ECN’s), vendor parts, etc.) in compliance with Military, ASME, and Company standards and process guides. The applicant will be expected to quickly develop skills necessary for utilization of company tools (NX2026, Solidworks 2020, Matrix and JIRA).
Responsibilities
· Creation of mechanical solid models from conceptual sketches, specification sheets and verbal direction
· Receive, create, and record JIRA tickets for tracking assignments
· Translation of engineering requirements to source and vendor control documentation
· Cataloging of vendor and supplier-controlled components, models, and specifications
· Release of specifications, drawings, and ECNs within the eMATRIX system
· Interface with Product engineers, Manufacturing engineers and Machinists to produce accurate product representations and incorporate design for manufacturability feedback
· Participate in design review meetings
· Perform tolerance calculations (“tolerance stacks”) of detail parts and sub-assemblies
· Development of component and subassembly drawings to ASME Y14 standards, inclusive of all planforms, sectional and isometric views, notes and GD&T
· Generation of production drawings for multiple manufacturing methods; including machining, sheet metal forming and weldments
· Generation of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams from sketches, drawings, datasheets, and verbal direction
· Produce engineering Bills of Materials in the eMATRIX system in concert with product definition release
· Checking of drawings per company and ASME Y14 standards
