About This Role
Seeking a senior ATE Project Lead, to support ATE development in the Textron Weapon Systems Line of Business. Applicants should have a strong background in all aspects of Test Equipment development and possess a demonstrated ability in leading technical teams. Responsibilities will include designing, developing, integrating, and deploying Automated Test Equipment. The successful candidate will have intimate technical knowledge of Commercial (COTS) Instrumentation, Test Equipment electrical design, mechanical design, software design, Calibration, and Self-Test methods, etc.
Responsibilities
A high competency in the practices of ATE Requirements Analysis, Design Review presentations, and ATE Certification practices are also required, with a strong emphasis on intra/inter disciplinary team cohesion.
As an ATE Project Technical Lead, the applicant’s primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate all technical project work and to support the team’s Cost Account Management (CAM) activities. An emphasis on status reporting of Integrated Master Schedules in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS), will also be required to maintain all aspects of project execution in accordance with the established cost, schedule, and technical requirements of the program.

About This Role:
Senior ATE Mechanical Engineer, for Automated Test Equipment development. Applicant should have a strong background in designing and generating drawings for all aspects of ATE development, including release to Production.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Document Interconnect Diagrams, Rack Assemblies, Altered Items, Cable Assemblies, Interface Modules, Parts Lists / BOMs, and Interface Test Adaptors
- Design Mounting Fixtures, Thermal / Vibration Fixtures, and other Mechanical Assemblies, with attention to Detailing, Dimensioning, and Configuration Management
- 3D Modelling and ANSYS Structural Analysis of Fixtures
- Investigate parts compatibility and tolerances, produce Release quality drawings, check conformance to standards, specifications, and requirements, and submitting outputs directly into a Configuration Management system
- Manage Parts Ordering and Receipt
- Generation of Presentation Packages for, and participation in, Electrical / Mechanical Design Reviews

About This Role
The Weapon Systems business is seeking a Program Manager for the Wilmington, MA location. The Program Manager will own critical scope within a growing program and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Program Office.
This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure program execution that meets mission objectives. A successful candidate in this role will be action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and exhibit a team mentality.
Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
- Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of critical program scope to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner.
- Developing and presenting formal briefs to internal and external senior leaders, reviewing and editing content from other stakeholders, and leading internal dry runs prior to the event.
- Applying Earned Value (EV) techniques to monitor and control the Performance Measurement Baseline.
- Performing Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for program budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and managing variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates, Estimate at Complete analysis, and sales forecast updates.
- Zeroing in on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) critical and driving paths and creating actionable plans to ensure on-time / early completion of related tasking.
- Managing Risks & Opportunities for assigned scope.
- Interfacing with critical suppliers and Textron Systems’ internal Procurement organization to communicate program updates / changes to and from the supplier.
- Working closely with the customer’s Program Manager(s) and communicating program progress both internally and externally.
- Leading proposal generation and submittal to the customer.
- Mentoring Project Managers.
