About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership and delivery support for the development, integration, test, and production of complex mechanical hardware. This role will work closely with mechanical design engineers, systems engineers, manufacturing, test, suppliers, and program leadership to ensure mechanical hardware is delivered on schedule and meets all technical, quality, and performance requirements. The candidate should possess good communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting within a multidiscipline team. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving a secret level security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Participating in resolving non-conformances related to mechanical parts and assemblies that develop during builds in preparation for hardware delivery to our program customer.
- Provide day-to-day engineering supporting the integration and delivery of mechanical parts and aeroshell flight hardware to our program customer.
- Lead or support technical investigations of hardware failures, discrepancies, and nonconformances
- Coordinate with mechanical designers, systems engineers, manufacturing, test engineering, quality, suppliers, and program management to resolve hardware issues.
- Provide engineering disposition and technical direction for hardware discrepancies encountered during manufacturing and test.
- Coordinating engineering changes and ensuring impacts to hardware already in fabrication or test are understood and addressed.
- Creating Technical Data Packages that include 3D drawings, specifications and materials lists for components and assemblies of mechanical and electro-mechanical applications.
- Preparing and directing high quality mechanical and electro-mechanical detail and assembly drawings and engineering change notices in support of hardware changes due to non-conformances or build issues

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design, switching power supply design, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs. About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for developing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) in a DoD / Aerospace Line of Business. Applicant should have a strong background in Electrical Engineering, and possess a demonstrated ability developing C# test code for Special Test Equipment (ATE / STE). Test executives and test sequences, as well as commercial instrumentation interfaces, data acquisition and control, and communication protocols will be the prime applications to be designed and automated into our ATE systems. High awareness and competency in the cohesion required between the multi-disciplinary functions (electrical / mechanical / software) required of a formal ATE team are required. Designing with Modularity and Commonality are top requirements of the position. Additionally, the ability to generate Validation sequences, Calibration sequences, Test Reports, estimates, design review materials, and presentation packages, is critical.

The Senior Fluid Systems Engineer is responsible for designing propulsion and auxiliary fluid systems—including fuel, hydraulics, lubrication, fresh water, pneumatic, and drainage systems—in accordance with program requirements and OEM specifications. This role develops system layouts, writes component and system specifications, performs technical analyses, and collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams throughout development. The engineer also supports production, testing, and fleet operations by assisting with installation, troubleshooting, system improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Design detailed fluid system installations for propulsion and auxiliary systems, including fuel, hydraulic, lubrication oil, fresh water, pneumatic, and drainage systems.
• Coordinate supplier subsystem development efforts and participate in supplier design reviews.
• Develop and review engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, analyses, and test reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare technical reports for customer submittals.
• Execute assigned tasks in alignment with program schedules and budgets.

Textron Systems, leading developers of high-performance Unmanned Systems, a proven partner for both military and commercial applications, is offering a full-time opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to support our growing family of unmanned naval products. Our teams are engaged in multiple cutting-edge development programs for domestic and international programs. This position provides an opportunity to travel, execute experimental military hardware testing, and develop new skills. This position reports to the Unmanned Surface Vessel Lab Manager.
The strong candidate will have hands-on experience in the test, integration, and maintenance of mechanical systems and will be ready to work in a fast-paced environment. The position also includes supporting on-water operations of surface systems, serving as a small craft operator, safety lookout, or support crew members.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Read assembly documentation (i.e. Work Instructions, Drawings etc.), parts lists, and diagrams to assemble and install a wide variety of components.
- Operate test equipment.
- Assemble and troubleshoot drive train components and hydraulic actuation systems.
- Use small hand tools such as tap and die, hand drills, impact guns, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers in the confines of a small naval craft.
- Use equipment such as drill press, band saws, and hydraulic press.
- Identify and document work order instructions, test procedures, and drawing errors.
- Assist engineering in issue resolution as part of a design, build, or test team.

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior ATE Mechanical Engineer to lead and support the end-to-end design, documentation, and production release of custom Automated Test Equipment (ATE). In this role, you will own the mechanical architecture of test consoles, interface modules, and specialized fixtures, ensuring seamless transition from prototype development straight to manufacturing production
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Documentation: Architect and detail rack assemblies, interface test adaptors (ITAs), cable assemblies, interface modules, interconnect diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Fixture Engineering: Design robust mounting, interconnect, and human interface test fixtures with rigorous focus on dimensioning, tolerancing, and configuration management
- Analysis & Modeling: Create precise 3D/2D models using Siemens NX and perform structural/thermal FEA validation using ANSYS
- Configuration & Quality Control: Manage formal design releases through product data management systems
- Project Lifecycle Support: Oversee critical hardware parts ordering/receipt, develop technical presentation packages, and lead cross-functional electrical/mechanical design reviews
