Our technology helps replicate real world radar and missile threats—on the flight line, in the lab, and on the test range—to ensure aircraft sensors and pilots are prepared for today’s rapidly evolving electromagnetic environment.

About This Role
A Production Planner will develop and manage the execution of the production schedule as a result of line of balance output, taking into consideration the available capacity, material availability and program delivery commitments. A Production Planner communicates to leadership and program managers the manufacturing status, expected completion dates and production risk analysis based on internal and external supply.
Responsibilities:
· Partners with procurement, production manager, quality, engineering, and program management, and other supply chain disciplines to proactively plan, schedule, and effectively manage development, production, and aftermarket support environments.
· Manages and own the execution of items associated with their planner code, to include release of internal jobs to the program, factory, release of purchase requisitions, manage disruptions in the internal factory (shortages, MRB, internal and external constraints), and provides feedback to internal customers.
· Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
· Monitors internal and external supply chain alignment – identifies and resolves potential constraints, maintains line of balance (build through) and purchase requests for the production or purchase of components / parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
· Plays an integral part of product Integrated Product Teams (IPT) by effectively interfacing with internal customers.
· Assists management in the development and execution of plans for assigned products to maximize scheduled on-time completion. Analyzes supply and demand data and reports to determine critical path constraints.
· Manages manual demand for top/down & bottom-up releases, facilitates ECN/ECP changes and coordinates production cut-ins. Reviews excess material for possible consumption in other jobs. Creates material transfers, borrow/payback transactions and PO change requests.
· Respond to ad hoc requests from management and other departments, providing timely and accurate analysis and reports.

• Manage all phases of programs from inception through completion, Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. About This Role
Our external and internal customers rely heavily on the content and accuracy of the technical manuals produced by our technical writers. These manuals are critical to the efficiency and safety of the end-user. Technical Writers in the Textron Integrated Product Support Services (IPSS) group are responsible for developing technical manual documentation necessary to install, operate and support complex equipment platforms for a variety of military and commercial customers.
Responsibilities
Analysis of engineering data and drawings for pertinent information.
Technical Writers review and conduct analysis of engineering/technical data and drawings to gather pertinent information required for the development of Technical Manuals (TMs) and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs). They also collaborate with the Logistics Product Data (LPD) group and gather required information on procedures to be written based on the task analysis performed.
Development of theory of operation, operating instructions, and maintenance instructions for technical manuals.
Technical Writers develop publications work products that include: equipment description, theory of operation, operator instructions, troubleshooting procedures, maintenance instructions (remove and replace procedures), supporting information, and Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists. Procedure development to be done in MS Word for page base publications and XML using WebX UltraAuthor, Arbortext, or EAGLE Publishing System software for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM). The development of illustration graphics is accomplished using NX Computer Aided Design (CAD) and illustration software (Corel).
Complete edits for compliance with all applicable specifications, standards, validation, and verification. Coordination of quality-control and production activities required ensuring the accuracy and adequacy of each publication while adhering to established timelines.
Technical writers review detailed program requirements with the Lead Writer to complete the publications activities in accordance with the applicable publications plan and applicable specifications. They participate in publications Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings to gather relevant information to support the publications development process while meeting schedule milestones.
Participation in review conferences with internal and external customers. May provide direction to other writers and support personnel who may assist with assigned tasks. Coordination of in-process and final reviews.
Technical writers support internal in-process quality reviews, final reviews, and in-process review conferences with customers to monitor status of assigned programs. They support technical manual validation events (performing the written publications procedures for accuracy and adequacy) and incorporate validation comments prior to the customer verification events (customer team performs validated procedures as final quality check before publication of the manual content).

Textron Systems Electronic Systems (TSES) group is looking for a Sr Operations Project Manager to join our growing Program Management team and help us in providing services and support to our hardware and software customers around the globe.

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performs Quality Engineering assignments requiring independent evaluation, selection, and application of standard Quality Engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Requires use of judgment and ingenuity in making adaptations and modifications.
- Work is performed within a defined set of skills or knowledge area with help and coaching from senior level Quality Engineers. The Quality Engineer supports product design activities, planning for quality, production activities, data analysis and development of metrics, root cause and corrective action, and process and product improvement.
- Performs quality planning activities including development of Quality Plan, Quality Assurance Directive and Inspection Plan documents as required by the assigned project(s).
- Interfaces with Supplier Quality Engineering to provide guidance and support for supplier issues.
- Monitor processes using nonconformance and test discrepancy metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Participates in process improvement activities through defect disposition, root cause investigations, implement corrective and preventive actions, and verify the effectiveness of improvements, etc.

About This Role

Lead certification and accreditation process for Textron Unmanned Aircraft Systems products in accordance with DoDI 8510.0, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and other cyber security related requirements. Support the utilization of vulnerability scan tools, conduct in-depth analysis of the results against Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), develop remediation and mitigation plans, and create packages for the implementation of those plans.
Build and manage relationships with internal customers for successful execution of plans. Generation of reports and deliverables directly provided to internal and external customers. Develop, maintain and track security plan documentation required for accreditation events.
Support responses to emergency requests and security bulletins. Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to ensure issues affecting the product overall security are addressed appropriately and seamlessly within the development life-cycle processes.

• Serve as a Cyber Security Product Lead at internal and external program level meetings and communicate best security practices in an effective and clear manner to ensure compliance of our products.

Role Overview

This position can be an entry into the Program Management career track or other areas such as Finance, Contracts, Business Development, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Supports the development and preparation of program plans, schedules, baselines, estimates at complete (EAC) and estimates to complete (ETC) development and reviews
• With appropriate background and experience, acts as a Control Account Manager?(CAM) for assigned scope
• Supports baseline development, audit support, financial and investigative analysis, and real-time information and analysis to PMs, technical leads and finance
• Support subcontracts management with statement of work (SOW) updates, invoice review and processing, and subcontractor negotiations.
• Closely supports PM team and collaborates with other functions including engineering, scheduling, contracts, procurement, manufacturing and finance for on time submittal of documentation to customer team.
• Provides maintenance of schedule, performance, forecasts and risk/opportunity data
