About This Role
The Uncrewed Land and Air Systems team in Hunt Valley is seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team to work on innovative products in our ground robotics and air domains. Our team is engaged in multiple cutting-edge development programs for defense applications, and we are looking for engineers who are eager to apply a diverse set of technologies and skills to create indispensable robotic solutions. This interdisciplinary role involves supporting the full life cycle development of our products, including new product development, product upgrades, payload design, integration and test, and fielding solutions for military and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, and working successfully within a collaborative team environment. A strong desire to take ownership of design efforts to ensure the integration of new technology into our vehicles is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Engineering Design and Development:
- Lead full-lifecycle engineering design and development activities on established and disruptive new products.
- Work across engineering disciplines to develop conceptual designs that solve complex problems.
- Perform requirements analysis and derivation to understand customer needs.
- Develop architecture models utilizing SysML to support requirements development and derivation.
- Use requirements management and test tools to decompose program requirements.
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE):
- Develop and maintain system models using MBSE methodologies and tools.
- Utilize SysML for creating and managing system architecture models.
- Integrate MBSE practices into the overall systems engineering process to improve design, analysis, and verification activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure MBSE models accurately represent system requirements and design.
- Systems Integration and Testing:
- Lead hands-on integration of components and subsystems into Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and/or Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs).
- Develop integration test plans and procedures to verify product integration.
- Perform analysis of data extracted from testing.
- Define methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for verifying systems, subsystems, and work products against their requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Prepare and present systems engineering work products to internal review teams and external customers at program milestone reviews.
- Interact daily with technical leads, program managers, planners, technicians, and other engineers.
- Collaborate with others within the workgroup, with other departments, and with customers.
- Project Management and Technical Direction:
- Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based on evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.
- Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems.

About this Role
Join a mission-driven defense contractor helping to drive enterprise growth through corporate development including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. You will lead market and financial analyses, establish and manage an opportunity pipeline, develop business cases, evaluate acquisition targets, and drive integration planning. You will accomplish this by fostering collaboration across both the Corporate and Business Segment including with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams and building consensus around strategic initiatives that deliver measurable value.
What You’ll Do
- Own business cases for key decisions and growth opportunities (market assessments, financial modeling/valuation, sensitivity analyses, go-to-market recommendations).
- Lead M&A activities such as target sourcing, strategic fit assessments, preliminary financials, accretion/dilution analysis, deal rationale, and post-deal integration planning.
- Present recommendations and deal insights to Corporate and Segment senior leadership (CEO, CFO, and SVP-level stakeholders).
- Build and track a pipeline of organic and inorganic opportunities using a consistent, data-driven process.
- Monitor and engage with the market/industry including attending industry days, trade shows, site visits, and conferences/seminars.
- Analyze DoD priorities, appropriations, budget trends, customer capability gaps, and geo-political developments.
- Collaborate closely with Corporate M&A function to ensure alignment.

About This Role
An Import/Export Analyst provides timely submittal of accurate and complete documentation related to Export/Import requirements to US Government Agencies and BU staff inclusive of interfacing on a regular basis with U. S. Customs Department.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Plan,develop and execute Technical Data Licenses, Techical Assistance Agreements and Manufacturing Licensing Agreements, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives Permits in support of Business Development & Planning and Contracts Departments.
· Conduct compliance audits in accordance with the Export Management Systems Manual.
· Support functional organizations such as Business Development, Supply Management, Engineering, Program and Contract Management.
- Prepare DDTC and Commerce license applications, Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and Warehousing Distribution Agreements. Determine applicability of ITAR exemptions, ECCNs, and use of Commerce license exceptions
· Assist in the development/design and implementation of Corporate initiatives and conduct Export compliance training.
· Maintain current knowledge of Export Regulations by attending annual conferences.
· Review and approve Shippers Export Declarations and coordination of Freight Forwarder requirement will constitute a crucial element of this function.
· Perform other compliance activities as determined by the Director of Global Trade Compliance in support of Corporate and Divisional Internal Controls, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), U.S. Export/Import Regulations, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other associated laws and regulations.
· Perform other job related duties as assigned by management.
· Assist in identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, support the development/implementation of corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues in coordination with local leadership, company desk procedures, and provide guidance on how to avoid similar situations in the future
· Interpret trade and compliance policy and provide procedural and regulatory guidance and assistance to affiliate operating units in resolving complex import/export related issues; has the authority to invite subject matter experts to support issue resolution if necessary

About This Role
Textron Systems is hiring a Sr Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) Business Partner who will be based at the company’s Hunt Valley, Md., location. The team designates MARCOM Business Partners for each of our business lines. MARCOM Business Partners serve as a first point of contact (POC) for emerging business line questions and requirements. Of equal importance, they work proactively with the business lines to discuss long-range business strategies including new business capture and keep-it-sold efforts. The Business Partners then engage the broader MARCOM team’s centers of excellence – Creative Services/Digital Development, External Communications, Employee & Leader Communications, Trade Shows & Events – to partner on development, execution and measurement of comprehensive, multichannel MARCOM strategies in support of their business line(s).
As a Sr MARCOM Business Partner, you will:

To coordinate and schedule material required to be packaged in accordance with both commercial standards and military specifications in order to meet delivery requirements.
JOB DUTIES:
• Coordinates the packaging efforts for both Commercial Standards and Military Specifications.
• Determines packaging requirements for contracts and recommends packaging material to be used to ensure cost effectiveness, quality and contract requirements are met.
• Coordinates with Quality Assurance for final inspection of shipments.
• Assist with soliciting bids, negotiating requirements, selecting vendors and ordering packaging materials and supplies to meet required delivery dates.
• Assists in preparing estimates for packing and crating costs for packaging proposals.
• Responsible for reviewing advanced shipping releases to determine special order packaging and compliance to Contract requirements.
• Provides guidance and instruction to shipping clerks on specialized packaging and marking requirements.
• Inspects the work of shipping clerks ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
• Ensures that shipments packaged, utilizing specifications for preservation, marking, and packaging standards, are accomplished using latest revisions.
• Assures shipments are properly blocked and braced on carrier equipment.

About This Role
Textron Systems, leading developers of high-performance Unmanned Systems and a proven partner for both military and commercial applications, is offering a full-time opportunity for a Field Service Representative to support our growing family of unmanned naval products. Our teams are engaged in multiple cutting-edge development and sustainment programs including both domestic and international programs and locations. This position provides an opportunity to travel, support fielded systems in sustainment, execute experimental military hardware testing, and develop new skills. This position reports to the lead FSR for the Common Unmanned Surface Vessel (CUSV) program.
The strong candidate will have hands-on experience in the test, integration, and maintenance of electrical systems and will be ready to work in a fast-paced environment. The position also includes supporting on-water operations of surface systems and payloads, serving as a small craft operator, safety lookout, or support crew member. Position will require a strong working knowledge of mechanical applications as well as electrical.
Responsibilities
· Proactively engages in planning and coordination of logistical sustainment and operations at remote test sites and/or Navy field support sites.
· Monitors system and support equipment readiness for operations so that malfunctions and their causes can be identified proactively and corrected.
· Manages inventory databases, local stock levels, and executes supply chain functions.
· Performs field level preventative maintenance as well as troubleshooting, fault isolation, and corrective actions on systems including but not limited to: computer systems, electrical systems, networks, radios, diesel engines, marine drivetrain, propulsion (sterndrives), cooling systems, and power generation systems.
· Provides end-user reach-back support for troubleshooting and operations of fielded systems.
· With training, operates the USV and installed payload(s) from a diagnostic computer, handheld controller, and via the remote operator interface station.
· Performs software and firmware installations and upgrades for the CUSV and payload systems, spares, and associated support equipment.
· Conducts maintenance work orders and technology insertions for CUSV and payload assets.
· Operates test equipment (chase crafts, cable spooling equipment, broadband radios).
· Responsible for test or inspection data management, data collection, and generation of reports.
· Use of small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screw drivers and pliers.
· Use of large tools including specialized equipment for maintenance of stern drives and engines.
· Provides general logistics functions to include shipping and receiving.
· Performs field upgrades to enhance system capabilities and provide additional features.
· Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and determines technical solutions with equipment listed, but not limited to: Digital Multi-meter, Oscilloscope, Amp clamps, Spectrum Analyzers, and borescopes, TDR’s.
· Prepares technical reports on equipment failures, systems diagnostics, design analysis, and logs daily craft activities.
· Be able to deploy both domestically and internationally. Minimum travel expectation is 50%, but travel of 100% may be required for deployment scenarios. Deployments may include periods of living aboard a Navy ship, typically rotations of 3 weeks at sea followed by 1 week on land.
· Responsible for assisting in training of new FSR hires and training of customer where needed and required.
· Follow and enforce all safety protocol.
· Responsible for performing quality control functions to ensure craft readiness and repair quality.
