About This Role
The Subcontract Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and managing subcontracts for a variety of high dollar, high complexity systems, materials and services in support of all product lines. This role will be responsible for supplier selection, negotiation and creation of subcontract and long term agreements, and management of large and complex supplier programs.
Responsibilities
· Lead several supply chain sourcing projects concurrently across programs
· Evaluate, analyze and assess trends and advancements in materials, technologies, sources of supply and the market to establish supply solutions
· Assist in identifying, evaluating and selecting potential suppliers/partners for systems, materials and services
· Insure proper assessments and audits are accomplished to confirm qualifications and capabilities of potential subcontractors.
· Prepares requests for proposals, obtains subcontractor proposals, supports cost proposals, prepares cost or price analysis and establishes negotiation strategy
· Negotiates all aspects of high-value, major subcontracts or long term agreement in collaboration with programs, including scope of work, pricing and payments, and all contract terms and conditions
· Prepares subcontract documents in accordance with appropriate company and customer requirements, including contract, statements of work, technical specifications, data requirements and special provisions as required.
· Take appropriate actions to ensure contract compliance and performance, including coordination with other departments as well as effective communications with subcontractors to assure their understanding of key issues, risks, objectives and milestones of the program.
· Manage multiple supplier contracts to ensure performance and execution to contract and program requirements, including regular program reviews.

About This Role
The Financial Analyst position conducts analysis, maintains forecasts, and provides EACs for various programs. Under direction of the Manager, Finance, the Analyst will generate and track monthly budgets, cost projections, and variance analysis, in addition to various Earned Value reports within the Weapons Systems Operating Unit.
Level II Responsibilities
- Support assigned programs with timely analysis, financial modeling and recommendations for decision making.
- Use analysis to identify and investigate program issues and advise on appropriate course of action.
- Conduct program analysis, maintain forecasts and provide monthly Estimate at Completion (EACs).
- Establish and maintain standard corporate financial reports and program Earned Value status reports.
- Provide real time information to the Manager, Finance regarding changes in program financials and execution.
- Analyze program data to ensure estimates are accurate and complete and are in accordance with SOX and Internal Controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
Level III Responsibilities
- Use analysis and financial data to advise program managers and business leaders during monthly reviews and during critical business decisions.
- Serve as primary liaison between Finance and Program leadership teams
- Provide real time information to the Manager, Finance regarding changes in program financials and execution.
- Establish and maintain baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (Deltek Cobra) and lead the Program Team in Earned Value data reviews
- Create and maintain standard financial reports: orders, sales, cost, profit and cash flow forecasts, Monthly Program Status Reports, Earned Value reports
- Mentor and train junior staff to ensure robust Finance talent pipeline

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Sourcing Engineer focused on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly as part of the Strategic Outsourcing Strategy. The focus will be to lead engagement with the internal customers to support the development of business opportunities, collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Managers to provide an effective, stable, and successful roadmap for Partnerships and Suppliers for Supply Chain. This individual will be responsible for providing Key engineering input (technical producibility/DFX, evaluations, assessments, etc.) to support new product development with internal customers, building and acting as the critical conduit to set up the supply base and lead complex custom supplier development projects to mature the manufacturing readiness.
The Principle Sourcing Engineer will identify, build, manage and maintain capable supplier sources, and mentor more junior members of the team to grow the team network and knowledge.
They will drive the optimization of design for supplier manufacturability, design for supplier assembly, outsourcing design to cost & quality, and further support prototyping validation/readiness leading to a successful product roadmap for stable transition to production.
Responsibilities will also include the collaboration and integration of the outsourcing strategy with other roles within the Supply Chain and Operations Team and help grow appreciation and awareness of Sourcing Engineering value in the establishment of suppliers.
The Principal Sourcing Engineer will champion other upstream activities, such as Bill of Material (BOM) development, Plan for every Part initiative (PFEP), inclusion of emerging manufacturing technologies, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), cost validation & estimating, and support to configuration control with Engineering.
The Principal Sourcing Engineer will work closely with Design Engineering Team/IPT, Engineering Prototype and Test Teams, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to complete initial prototype builds, analyze results, and propose refinement of engineering designs and be the main technical focal for supplier management.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with Sourcing Management and cross-functional stakeholders -Business Development, Programs, Engineering, and Manufacturing- to provide technical outsourcing recommendations that will support the maturation of business opportunities and program development goals.

· Engage preferred suppliers early in the design phase alongside internal teams to influence product and process development, ensuring recommendations balance performance, manufacturability, and cost targets.
· Lead supplier gap analysis derived from manufacturing and technical readiness reviews, developing and executing targeted improvement plans that mature the supply chain and product for a smooth Transition to Production (TTP).
· Validate product requirements for technical capability and manufacturability, own supplier-facing DFMEA and PFMEA activities, and drive risk-reduction measures that improve overall program cost, schedule, and quality metrics.
· Define key performance tracking metrics and develop standardized processes and tools for Product Readiness Reviews (PRR), enabling consistent assessment, analysis, and progress tracking.
· Work closely with IPT members, subcontractors, and procurement to align and optimize supplier manufacturing capabilities and strategic sourcing plans.
· Identify cost savings and cost avoidance information for sourcing improvement opportunities.
· Build, maintain and grow a database of potential supplier sources that meet performance criteria based on business mission objectives.
· Benchmark & work with key suppliers to establish effective yield metrics and performance indicators.
· Manage and support the outsourcing of product testing, tooling, fixturing, assembly, and validation activities to qualified external suppliers.

About This Role
The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for delivering strategic and tactical supply chain activities for our supply base to effectively support all Textron Systems’ businesses across all site locations with a focus on overall external supply chain improvement.
Each team member will develop optimized external supply chain capability, enabling the highest levels of competition among the highest performing suppliers, geographically located; to optimally support our business throughout all phases of the product life cycle with a particular focus on Quality.
This role includes performing: - supplier assessments and development evaluations, supplier identification, and supplier management tasks. Working collaboratively across all product domains to understand the needs of the business and drive supply chain execution and accountability to the highest attainable level

The Supplier Development Engineer is specifically responsible for driving results with our suppliers across multiple supply categories including mechanical and/or electrical parts and assemblies in all facets of performance, including cost, delivery and quality. This role will report directly to the Manager of Supplier Development within the Supply Chain organization.
Responsibilities
· Develop Relationships throughout the Supply Base and connect that network with Internal customers and drive Quality into the foundation for execution
· Perform and/or participate in source qualification by performing quality management system surveys and special process surveys.
· Solicit supplier inputs into product design, considering design for manufacturability, cost, reliability, parts availability, and more.
· Perform Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRA) as appropriate for suppliers.
· Coordinate the effective flow-downs of contractual requirements to suppliers along with alignment on quality codes and performance expectations.
· Execute supplier development strategies balanced across all domains.
· Partner with Sourcing Engineering, Supplier Management, Buyers, and Quality Engineering to ensure a smooth transition to the identified source enabling seamless execution via leading effective Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM).
· Coordinate with Quality Engineering inspection requirements of suppliers and execute inspection requirements such as first article inspection, managing nonconforming materials, troubleshooting, processing material review board actions, etc.
· Lead management of critical supplier issues to improve overall execution.
· Lead risk assessments via FMEA/Risk Cubes, RCCA, countermeasures and supplier scorecard reviews.

The Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Compliance Analyst for Textron Systems, is primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with the 32 EVM guidelines across the company for their assigned programs. This role requires integration with the program teams and acts as a support function providing guidance, training, document review, internal surveillance prep as well as interaction with DCMA, DCAA and customers.
The Sr Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Compliance Analyst, will be primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with EVM guidance across the company. This includes applying project management oversight to assigned projects, developing/designing and implementing new or revised departmental policies, programs, techniques, and methods. Will provide financial and scheduling guidance to Program Management teams through the EV Core Team. Position requires a working knowledge of the Earned Value Management (EVM) Industry Standard, EIA 748 (current version).
Responsibilities include:
Level 2 Responsibilities Include:
- Supports the development and preparation of program baselines and financial forecasts, estimate at complete (EAC) development and reviews, preparation of financial packages, EVMS reporting and compliance support, audit support, baseline development, financial and investigative analysis, and real-time information and analysis to PMs, CAMs and Finance Management.
- Closely supports PM team and collaborates with other functions including scheduling, contracts, procurement, ops finance, and central finance

The Manager of Manufacturing Operations will manage assembly, fabrication and Transition-to-Production operations for the Sub-Assembly, Assembly and Final Assembly areas of manufacturing production (e.g. mechanical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, composite material fabrication and bonding, wiring, light machining coordination, light painting).

About This Role
Seeking a senior ATE Project Lead, to support ATE development in the Textron Weapon Systems Line of Business. Applicants should have a strong background in all aspects of Test Equipment development and possess a demonstrated ability in leading technical teams. Responsibilities will include designing, developing, integrating, and deploying Automated Test Equipment. The successful candidate will have intimate technical knowledge of Commercial (COTS) Instrumentation, Test Equipment electrical design, mechanical design, software design, Calibration, and Self-Test methods, etc.

A high competency in the practices of ATE Requirements Analysis, Design Review presentations, and ATE Certification practices are also required, with a strong emphasis on intra/inter disciplinary team cohesion.
As an ATE Project Technical Lead, the applicant’s primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate all technical project work and to support the team’s Cost Account Management (CAM) activities. An emphasis on status reporting of Integrated Master Schedules in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS), will also be required to maintain all aspects of project execution in accordance with the established cost, schedule, and technical requirements of the program.
