About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled System Safety Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the systems safety engineering efforts and supporting the development of complex military systems. Responsibilities
Provide test engineering support to identify and develop necessary test equipment, fixtures, and facilities in accordance with customer specifications and requirements for both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter
Requirements gathering and analysis based on engineering design documentation
Interface with product development and systems teams to determine appropriate test strategy and coverage for functional requirements
Fulfill daily responsibilities including research and developing electrical design concepts performance calculations, and hands-on support of lab testing and troubleshooting
Growth in electrical engineering expertise as opportunities in analog and digital circuits, cable design, debugging of electrical assemblies are presented
Perform data collection activities including setup and operation of high-speed cameras, telemetry systems, onboard instrumentation, and data recorders
Develop aspects of test stations utilizing state of the art PXI, LAN, USB and other instrumentation in a context of automated parametric measurements
Utilize textural scripting languages for programming low level instrumentation for measurements gathering
Assist with the design, develop, and document test equipment required for new and existing electronic products and assist with transition of this equipment to Production Test Engineering
Author process, test, documentation, and calibration procedures geared for all audiences

About This Role
This role is in Textron System’s Land Systems - Crewed Land business area.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, testing and support of future Family of vehicles for Land systems, as well as integration of vehicular components, sub systems, in conjunction with new design, product improvement, field and production problem resolution.
- Creating electrical schematics, harnessing design, and drawings in CAD system such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Performing engineering calculations, writing specifications, formulating sketches, testing criteria, failure analysis, and cost estimates.
- Providing technical support to both internal and external customers for technical data package delivery.
- Supporting Prototype build, troubleshooting and documentation as required.
- Understanding customer requirements, and provide design solutions

Overview
Seeking an experienced PCB Designer/Electrical Integrator to design circuit boards, support hardware development, and troubleshoot electronic systems for advanced electro-optical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate printed circuit boards and related electronics (analog and digital).
- Work with multi-discipline teams to ensure clean system integration.
- Debug hardware in the lab and resolve power/circuit issues.
- Develop documentation (specifications, test procedures, interface docs).
- Provide project status updates and lead portions of technical work.
- Support production troubleshooting and mentor junior engineers.
You will be part of highly skilled team and need to interface with other team members, including those of other engineering disciplines. Additional job duties could include systems level requirements analysis, design, and proposal input. You may also be involved in system testing for products you’re a part of and aid with fielding and/or training of the customer. Experienced engineers will rely on you to lead a project and mentor junior engineers.
