About This Role
This role is in Textron System’s Land Systems - Crewed Land business area.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, testing and support of future Family of vehicles for Land systems, as well as integration of vehicular components, sub systems, in conjunction with new design, product improvement, field and production problem resolution.
- Creating electrical schematics, harnessing design, and drawings in CAD system such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Performing engineering calculations, writing specifications, formulating sketches, testing criteria, failure analysis, and cost estimates.
- Providing technical support to both internal and external customers for technical data package delivery.

About This Role
This role is in Textron System’s Land Systems - Crewed Land business area.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- As an integral member of the design team, you’ll work under the supervision of the mechanical engineering manager and focus on Land Systems products
- Performing research and trade studies.
- Developing mechanical design concepts.
- Creating and updating engineering drawings.
- Hands-on support of fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Design focus can consist of a combination of the following subsystems, depending on current needs: Vehicle hull structure, powertrain, suspension, steering, seating, auxiliary systems, and/or special equipment.

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Read and interpret basic drawings and weld symbols
- Passing Textron’s aluminum MIG (GMAW) weld test procedure
- Perform as a productive working team member that meets daily goals set by the supervisor.
- MIG welding of aluminum materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
- Use of power tools (gougers, circular saws, grinders) in a safe, compliant manor
- Operate cranes and forklifts
- Assist supervisor to maintain control of department equipment and its maintenance.
- May instruct and mentor less-skilled welders, as assigned

An Associate Maintenance Mechanic, under general supervision, performs any and all tasks assigned by management based on the needs of the business.

A Sr Material Handler - Expeditor utilizes Oracle and Solumina to perform a variety of duties. These duties will include electronically moving Discrete Jobs through process steps, issuing material from inventory, stocking material, and closing Discrete Jobs. A main function of this role is to partner with Production Control and Planning to prioritize and distribute material to Production at the point of use. Additionally, a Sr. Material Handler - Expeditor is responsible for the coordination and physical movement of material as outlined in the “Responsibilities” section below.
Responsibilities:
· Electronically processes Discrete Jobs within Oracle and Solumina to delivery, stock, and move material throughout the floor and complete Discrete Jobs.
· Coordinate and execute critical part movement with the warehouse, support material movement to MRB, and support the return to vendor process when needed.
· Stages material such as: kits for items originating from other facilities, parts or kits originating within the same facility and delivering to the proper work-centers on the Production floor.
· Ordering Point of use materials from the warehouse such as: Free bin, Min Max, Hazardous consumables, and any other related materials.
· Coordinates with Manufacturing Engineers, Production Control Analysts and Quality Control on material problems found on the Production floor (non-conforming material, lost parts, items routed incorrectly, return to stocks etc.)
· Troubleshoots DJ order releases, material requirements, routings, and availability with Production Control, Manufacturing Engineering, and Material Planning groups.
· Troubleshoots systems-based issues with Oracle, Solumina, eMatrix, Zebra Devices, etc.
· Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain management on OVF (outside vendor forming) and OSP (outside supplier processing) related functions
· Delivers material to production work areas, between work areas, and any other applicable locations.
· Maintain inventory records, logs, signatures, and other data as required.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.

We are seeking multiple highly qualified candidates to lead and support our Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) engineering projects supporting our internal development initiatives and our contract programs. The Project Engineers will work primarily with the engineering disciplines and program teams to plan and execute ARV project to achieve defined objectives within cost and schedule constraints. Project Engineers lead a multidisciplinary team and provide technical leadership and guidance on development efforts that impact on ground vehicles products and programs. As a member of ARV Project Engineering team, the ARV Project Engineers ensures that the engineering efforts meet customer and internal requirements.
ARV Project Engineer roles and responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with Program Management to tightly control program schedule and budget per customer Earned-Value Managements System requirements (EVMS)
• Resolve schedule, resource, and technical conflicts
• Navigate and lead multidiscipline teams through unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions
• Collaborate with functional managers to organize and delegate key tasks
• Interact daily with program managers, planners, engineers and technicians
• Generate statements of work and managing outside contractor performance
• Act as a technical interface between engineering development team, Integrated Product Teams, and Integrated Supply Chain for product and program needs
• Chair (or delegate) responsibilities to execute change control boards for your project /product
• Develop discretionary funding plans and requests outlining program needs for successful execution
• Provide recommendations to senior management regarding critical risk acceptance
• Develop proposals (cost and technical) and basis of estimates for new business opportunities
• Prepare and present engineering work products to internal review teams and external customers at program milestone reviews
• Responsible for Average Unit Manufacturing Cost (AUMC) of PPD vehicles and future LRIP/full-rate production environments
ARV Automotive Project Engineer Roles/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing and coordinating all ARV Automotive and Vehicle specific-related activities, acting as a liaison between different teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
o Manage and coordinate Vehicle and Automotive Design, Development, Integration and Test Activities
o Supports Chief Engineer to drive technical risk and maturity into Vehicle/Automotive system designs and development
o Coordinate Engineering support of Vehicle of builds, outfitting, test and final delivery
o Responsible for delivery of associated technical artifacts including Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL’s)
o Support of all Vehicle, Survivability, and Automotive related Technical Customer Integrated Product teams (IPT’s) and Working groups (WG’s)

About This Role
An Associate EH&S Specialist will work to develop, implement, and enforce environmental, health, and safety policies to ensure a safe, compliant workplace (OSHA/EPA). Key duties include conducting hazard assessments, managing incident investigations, providing employee training, and supporting sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop and drive the implementation of leading/proactive indicators /metrics.
Develop and drive the implementation strategy to reduce cost associated with job related injury and illness and regulatory compliance.
Examine the work environment for various physical, chemical, biological and environmental hazards/stresses.
Define corrective actions that reduce stresses that impair health and ability of worker efficiency.
Drive implementation of specific recommendations to the proper level of management.
Maintain currency with all applicable standards and regulations so as to advise management as to the changes impacting Textron Sea & Land Systems operations.
Direct the evaluation of areas for hazards and make recommendations for improvement or protective equipment requirements.
Advise management as to appropriate activities and controls measures.
Interprets OSHA standards/regulations and maintains cooperative relationship with OSHA.
Develop & conduct health and safety training courses for supervisors and employees as needed.
Assist in the investigation of safety and health complaints and incidents.
Provide technical expertise & assistance to Facilities and Equipment Engineering groups in the design of protective equipment for uses on processes and machinery: and where necessary, redesign equipment to eliminate/reduce safety and health hazards.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides partnership, counsel, and guidance to leaders to support the strategy around workforce planning, organizational design, talent and performance management, training and development, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, and employee relations to deliver business solutions and services.
