- Performing the duties of a Structural Shipfitter daily.
- Job duties include but are not limited to measuring, laying out, cutting, grinding, forming and drilling of assorted materials (aluminum, steel, stainless, gasket, rubber, screen, etc.).
- Works from Engineering drawings, sketches and written and verbal instructions.
- Reading from computer screens to retrieve work instructions, blueprints or other documents
- Maintains records, forms and logs as required.
- Typical tools and equipment used in the performance of duties are: MIG and TIG welders, manual hand tools, mechanical, pneumatic, cordless and electric tools including porta power, come a long, clamps, hammers and mauls, gougers, grinders, saws, band saws, drills, tapes and scales.

About This Role
A Welding Engineer II develops, manages, recommends and coordinates the implementation of a sound welding program and processes through improved weld processes, design specification review, techniques, inspections, and safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
·
· Plans, organizes and directs the technical aspects of all types of welding processes and issues within the SSC group.
· Directly interface with the product design engineering team to insure design for process and manufacturing requirements are addressed and met and acts as subject matter expert.
· Establishes and documents welding processes in accordance with national and military standards/specifications.
· Develops, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of improved/enhanced processes, techniques, and safety procedures for all welding performed within he company.
· Identifies problems with and identifies the resolution of welding processes, issues, and concerns.
· Performs root cause analysis with emphasis on eliminating problems through design analysis, ergonomic issues, and machine/welding/assembly process improvements including equipment/materials purchasing requirements.
· Keeps abreast of Best Practices and state-of-the-art welding technologies and safety procedures used throughout the industry.
· Serves as a resource in the development of capacity planning, production control and troubleshooting of production welding processes.
· Develops, plans, and administers a welding training class for new and current welders (minimum of 4 times per year).
· Performs all other job related duties as assigned by management.

About This Role
The Financial Analyst position conducts analysis, maintains forecasts, and provides EACs for various programs. Under the direction of a Finance Director, the Analyst will generate and track monthly budgets, cost projections, and variance analysis, in addition to various Earned Value reports within the Land Systems Operating Unit.
Level II Responsibilities
- Support assigned programs with timely analysis, financial modeling and recommendations for decision making.
- Use analysis to identify and investigate program issues and advise on appropriate course of action.
- Conduct program analysis, maintain forecasts and provide monthly Estimate at Completion (EACs).
- Establish and maintain standard corporate financial reports and program Earned Value status reports.
- Provide real time information to Finance Director regarding changes in program financials and execution.
- Analyze program data to ensure estimates are accurate and complete and are in accordance with SOX and Internal Controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
Level III Responsibilities
- Use analysis and financial data to advise program managers and business leaders during monthly reviews and during critical business decisions.
- Serve as primary liaison between Finance and Program leadership teams
- Provide real time information to Finance Director regarding changes in program financials and execution.
- Establish and maintain baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (Deltek Cobra) and lead the Program Team in Earned Value data reviews

- Mentor and train junior staff to ensure robust Finance talent pipeline

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented?Integrated Product Support (IPS) Project Manager?to lead and coordinate lifecycle support efforts for complex systems. This role emphasizes conduct of product supportability analysis (PSA), logistics management information (LMI), level of repair analysis (LORA), provisioning, reliability analysis, condition-based maintenance (CBM), maintenance planning, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and training. Additionally, the candidate will oversee and manage project performance using?Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)?to ensure compliance with time, cost, and quality objectives.
As the IPS Project Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders to implement sustainable product support strategies that optimize operational readiness and lifecycle cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute supportability strategies to ensure operational readiness throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure that the IPS team is fully integrated with the design process and reviews to ensure Supportability is influential to the design process
• Coordinate an IPS Working Group (IPSWG) and IPS IPT with the customer, Textron Systems representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure that logistics considerations are integrated into the program and to provide IPS status.

- With appropriate background and experience, acts as a Control Account Manager?(CAM) for assigned scope
- Supports EVMS reporting and compliance, audit support, baseline development, financial and investigative analysis, and real-time information and analysis to PMs, technical leads and finance
- Closely supports PM team and collaborates with other functions including engineering, scheduling, contracts, procurement, manufacturing and finance
- Provides variance analysis and maintenance of schedule, performance, forecasts and risk/opportunity data
- Assists team with implementing corrective actions and mitigation strategies to realign efforts with project goals
- Participates in and supports preparation of customer and internal reviews such as Integrated Baseline Reviews

Responsibilities:
The Land Systems Project Manager is responsible for cost, schedule and performance of ongoing projects as part of the Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle Pre-Production Development program. The position directs all phases of a project, from inception to completion. Establishes, with the program team, program manager and engineering managers, milestones, master schedules, project financial baselines and monitors adherence to the project master plan/schedule and financial baseline, identifies performance or project problems and obtains solutions. Will have Control Account Management responsibilities for projects covering material, labor and subcontractors. Responsible for coordination and timely execution of all project related activities.
Coordinates with Land Systems Sr. Program Manager as a secondary customer contact for project activities. Leads all internal and external project reviews for assigned projects to include discussions relative to cost, schedule, and performance. Provides leadership to functional project teams, ensures the team is performing tasks effectively and within objectives identified. Is responsible for delegated project risk management (tracking, reporting and mitigation). Will direct teams in a matrix organization that support integration and test over the entire product lifecycle, execution of tests at defined test locations, and test site logistics.
May act as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead where the candidate will direct work of employees assigned to project from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join the Crewed Land Systems team as Program Manager. This role holds responsibilities for overseeing and managing the successful execution of the Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) Pre-Production Development Program ensuring performance to scope, budget, and schedule requirements for assigned scope. This position directs all manufacturing-related phases of design and development of the ARV from inception to completion, including achievement of the transition to production. This role will establish readiness of the entire manufacturing value chain including internal and external operations for the required vehicles, blast hulls and system integration labs. The Program Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver program performance and results. Specific responsibilities include:
• Creates, implements and executes Manufacturing Plan per contract requirements
• Leads efforts for major program reviews related to manufacturing and supply efforts including process verifications and supplier production readiness reviews
• Places special emphasis on hull fabrication suppliers using friction stir welding techniques, to reduce performance risk and achieve quality objectives
• Drives manufacturing quality assurance implementation and readiness for production
• Creating, implementing, maintaining and executing program plans to achieve cost, schedule and quality objectives
• Establishing the EVMS performance baseline for the program execution plans with the program and functional teams
• Leading coordination with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure program requirements are met
• Coordinates with other Program leaders to assure holistic design is accomplished for the entire product lifecycle to achieve end-user success
• Detecting program issues and risks, and implementing corrective actions and mitigation strategies to realign efforts with project goals
• Identifying program opportunities and defining a promotion plan
• Participating, with Land Systems Contracts Manager and ARV Program Lead, in negotiation of contract changes
• Serves as a Point of Contact with external and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, milestones, and potential challenges of assigned scope
• Supports execution of new or continuing program capture pursuits and associated proposals as assigned
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and program requirements
