About This Role

The Manager of Manufacturing Operations will manage assembly, fabrication and Transition-to-Production operations for the Sub-Assembly, Assembly and Final Assembly areas of manufacturing production (e.g. mechanical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, composite material fabrication and bonding, wiring, light machining coordination, light painting).
Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead various product assembly efforts, while resolving the most complex issues involving the manufacturing process.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering teams to mature product for key test events or prototype activities.
• Manage product through all stages of assembly and test, through delivery to customer.
• Manage the aesthetic appearance, maintenance of, and flow of product through the respective manufacturing areas.
• Manage across boundaries to influence others.
• Exert influence in the development of overall objectives and long-range goals of their respective team.
• Organize day-to-day operations and prioritization within assigned work area.
• Responsible for defect reporting and interruptions to flow, with Root Cause and Corrective Action problem solving.

Job Summary:

· Administer the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and collaborate with union leaders in the resolution of shop issues

About This Role
A Manufacturing Senior Outfitter is responsible for overseeing and executing outfitting tasks, such as equipment installation and testing, within a production environment. This position requires strong leadership, inventory control, and the ability to train junior employees. Key responsibilities include guiding teams, ensuring adherence to procedures, managing materials, and performing hands-on outfitting duties. This role combines general manufacturing duties with specialized finishing skills. Work will be performed on a production line, assembling mechanical components, installing assemblies, cables, and wiring harnesses using tools to fit, adjust and inspect components. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assembly and Installation: Performing complex outfitting duties as required. This can involve installing electrical wiring, interior/exterior components (seats, bumpers, ballistic glass, etc.), and other systems, according to detailed instructions and procedures.
- Equipment Operation: Operating various machinery, hand tools such as wrenches, pneumatic tools, and testing equipment.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Leading the setup, testing, and repairs of critical systems or electrical systems in vehicles. Ensuring all modifications and installations meet the requirements of the work plans.
