The Industrial Engineering intern develops and coordinates the strategies and plans that improve productivity with Manufacturing.? Under Management supervision, implements practices to reduce operating expenses, reduce work in progress, and increase production.?

About This Role
A Day in the Life of a Manufacturing Engineer:
Collaborates with Engineering on desired production tooling and build-plan methodology and gives input/feedback on associated design criteria; analyzes engineering design to determine manufacturability of components and assemblies
Guide and determine manufacturing processes, tooling methodology, discrete manufacturing operations and associated time standards to be used to produce new parts/assemblies from detail component fabrication thru job-level installation; authors and maintains process plans for shop floor methods/work instructions
Develops learning curve and actual hour projections for new program production incorporation; analyzes actual performance and makes necessary process improvement recommendations
Oversee process to create manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) to break engineering product structure into logical manufacturing methodology and sequence to enable MRP processes for order release, scheduling, and purchased component sourcing activities
Provides technical guidance to initiate and drive Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) on production issues related to engineering design, material, tooling, specifications and processes
Analyzes/Interprets engineering drawing, manufacturing operation sequence, tooling function, and process specifications
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned by management

A Sr Maintenance Mechanic, under general supervision, is required to perform any and all tasks assigned by management based on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
· Perform preventive and repair tasks related to facility structure and equipment using diagnostic devices (i.e., torque wrenches, volt / ohm meter, etc.) which are provided by the Company.
· Primary work includes troubleshooting/repair of forklifts and vehicles. Needs experience in hydraulics and engine repairs. May include engine tune-ups or other vehicle maintenance with minimal supervision. Certification a plus.
· Specific duties may also include mechanical repairs, tubing mechanic work and minor welding; light carpentry, laminating; adhesive bonding of wall panels; painting; changing of light bulbs; general electrical and mechanical tasks such as changing oil filters on equipment, etc.
· Work from Engineering drawings, sketches and written and verbal instructions.
· May direct the activities or tasks of other employees.
· Maintain records, forms and logs as required.

· Operate equipment to externally grind parts to required specifications. Operations include: External Grinder and Surface Grinder.
· Operate machinery to machine, process, refurbish and finish parts to required specifications. Machining operations include: Machine Polishing, Various Lathes and Milling Operations and other Manufacturing or Machining Operations.
· Utilize equipment necessary to perform the following operations on engine components to required specifications: Straightening, Assembling, Bench Grinding and Polishing, Mill and Drill, Balancing and Automatic Saw.

Job Summary
About This Role
In this role, the Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician works independently within engineering, prototype, and production environments to build and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical assemblies and cable/wire harnesses. This role requires mastery of IPC workmanship standards, hands-on fabrication capability, and the ability to interpret complex technical data packages.
Responsibilities
· Perform independent builds of complex electro-mechanical assemblies, cable harnesses, and sub-systems using engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, sketches, and work instructions.
· Fabricate, shield, splice, terminate, and install connectors into complex cable harnesses.
· Perform crimping operations using various crimp tools, tool selectors, and military/commercial-grade termination tooling.
· Perform soldering operations in accordance with IPC J-STD-001, including SMT device soldering; ability to obtain Space Addendum as required.
· Build wire harnesses compliant with IPC/WHMA-A-620, including obtaining Space Addendum certification as needed.
· Build electronic assemblies compliant with IPC-A-610, including obtaining space addendum certification as needed.
· Conduct electrical testing including continuity, insulation resistance, and hipot testing using DMMs and other electrical test equipment.
· Adhere to ESD, FOD, calibration, shelf-life, and safety procedures at all times.
· Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to resolve complex problems for efficiency gains and improved quality.
· Mentor junior technicians and contribute to new product introductions.
· Operate semi-complex electro-mechanical assembly equipment and verify build quality through self-inspection
· Recommend changes to designs, procedures, processes and drawings to improve manufacturability and/or quality of the product.
· Assist in the transition of new products to manufacturing.

About This Role
A Day in the Life of a Manufacturing Engineer III:
· Serve as the primary manufacturing engineering authority for complex DoD weapon system production, including electro-mechanical, cabling/harnesses, and precision-machined assemblies.
· Lead development, qualification, and continuous improvement of advanced manufacturing processes, tooling concepts, and production technologies.
· Drive early engagement with design engineering to influence architecture, producibility, and manufacturing cost models using DFM/DFA and value-engineering principles.
· Oversee and approve manufacturing process documentation, tool designs, routing structures, and configuration-controlled build packages.
· Lead root-cause investigations and corrective action implementation for high-impact production issues, MRB activities, and quality escapes.
· Develop manufacturing readiness assessments, major program estimates, and investment strategies for capital equipment and automation.
· Act as technical lead across production, quality, supply chain, and engineering to resolve cross-functional challenges affecting cost, schedule, and technical performance.
· Mentor and guide junior staff, providing coaching, training, and technical leadership.
· Evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies including additive manufacturing, automated assembly, digital manufacturing, and advanced inspection systems.
· Represent Manufacturing Engineering at IPTs, MRB, configuration boards, proposal teams, and customer technical meetings.
