About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- The Associate Pricing & Estimating Financial Analyst will perform as an integral proposal team member to assist the Proposal Manager in the development of cost proposals and various pricing exercises. This Analyst will provide fully-supported, compliant proposals that are current, accurate, and complete in accordance with customer requests, Federal Acquisition Regulations and company policies.
- Work with Proposal Managers, Cost Estimators, Procurement, Contracts and other functions to develop, update, and maintain cost proposals.
- Analyze labor hour estimates, material estimates, travel, and other cost and pricing data to ensure values are well supported.
- Write descriptive narratives that describe and support the numeric content.
- Assist in preparing management review slides.
- Support proposal post submittal activities to include audits, fact-finding and negotiations.
- Follow established procedures and work under department management direction.

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
This intern will be assigned to one of the following areas in the accounting organization, depending on need at the time: cost accounting, includes inventory, billings and intercompany accounting, accounts payable, government reporting, timekeeping/payroll, fixed assets. Perform assigned accounting functions by utilizing technical accounting theory and practices in order to accurately record company financial transactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and all regulatory requirements
The Accounting co-op will be involved with Projects focused on various accounting functions including:
- Prepare and record company financial transactions, preparing supplemental schedules as required.
- Prepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliations applying appropriate analytical techniques.
- Support financial, tax, internal and government reporting audits.
- Interface with management and company personnel, as required, regarding the status of accounting transactions and corrective actions required.
- Provide support to Accounting team
- Will work onsite 20 hours per week

About This Role:??

- The Financial Analyst (FA) Intern conducts analysis, maintains forecasts, and provides Estimate at Completion (EACs) for Textron Systems.???
- Under the direction of management, the Intern will be involved in projects relating to monthly budgets, cost projections, and sales and profit estimates, in addition to various Earned Value reports.???
- The FA Intern will be an integral part of the program team by: Maintain program measurement control systems - Create and maintain standard financial reports for the finance team and other functions within the business? - Provide day-to-day support to the program finance team - Analyze program trend data for Estimate to Complete (ETC) validity checks - Provide real time information to management regarding EAC swings, program updates??
- Other duties as assigned??
