Position Summary
Textron Systems Electronic Systems is looking for a Radio Frequency (RF)/Microwave (MW) Design Engineer to add to our team developing state of the art RF/MW assemblies for our rapidly growing business unit. The ideal candidate would have a passion for developing component-level RF/MW and analog hardware designs, along with a working knowledge of digital hardware designs. This Electrical engineer position will be responsible for the detailed design and selection of components and sub-circuits with exposure to the entire hardware design cycle, from conceptual design to production support as well as leading junior engineers to support the development efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree electrical engineering with 5-10 years of MW/RF experience or Master of Science with a concentration in RF/MW Design with 3-5 years of experience
- Experience designing Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMA) and the key design elements.
· Expertise with simulation and CAD tools used in performing RF/MW designs.
- Detailed knowledge of RF/MW circuit design, analysis, and layout techniques.
- Background of RF/MW component selection and key design trade-offs.
· Extensive knowledge of RF/Microwave testing equipment including synthesizers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, vector network analyzers, phase noise test set.
- Ability to interface directly with engineering, test, manufacturing, and suppliers/subcontractors.
- Proficiency in designing, specifying, and testing of electrical components, subassemblies, and cables.
- Ability work with people in a collaborative environment and earn the respect of peers.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

About This Role
The Textron Systems Tradeshows & Events Specialist will support the planning and coordination of tradeshows and events for our comprehensive portfolio of products and domains (business lines). Reporting to the Manager of Tradeshows & Events, this position is part of Textron Systems’ Marketing & Communications team. The position is located in Hunt Valley, MD.
As a Trade Show & Events Specialist, you will work across the Marketing & Communications team to plan and coordinate logistics for Textron Systems’ trade show and events – both external and internal – presence throughout the calendar year.
This role is part time and will work 20-30 hours per week, as agreed upon by the candidate and hiring manager.
Responsibilities
· Supporting annual trade show and event planning and budgeting
· Conducting research and analysis of proposed domestic and international trade shows and recommend an optimal mix based on strategic business requirements, customer focus, ROI and cost
· Provide on-site management for selected events (travel approx. 15%)
· Independently manage all aspects of assigned events with superior attention to detail:
o Event and attendee logistics (Show registrations and hotel room blocks)
o Show organizer deadlines
o Vendor deadlines including housing, badge passes, trade show logistics, invitations, graphics, video, shipping, etc.
o Collaborate with events team members and marketing colleagues to offer creative solutions and ideas
o Assigned budget, including processing show related invoices for payment and keeping record spending using team budget trackers
o Weekly status updates
o Maintaining and updating the show plan, coordinating all planning meetings with the key stakeholders pre-show and post-show (including post show survey and ROI analysis report out using ROI tools and templates)
o Inventory of tradeshow properties, event materials and giveaways
o When attending an event, greet customers and new visitors, and act as a brand ambassador for Textron Systems to ensure consistent and professional messaging
o Manage staffing and meeting requirements on-site
o Record customer engagements and manage meeting schedule updates, flow of meetings and use of conference rooms at select events
· Other duties as assigned

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Test Engineering 4 to join our team. The successful candidate will support production by addressing test facility issues, develop and implement automated test scripts, optimize test software, and introduce innovative testing methodologies. This role offers the opportunity to engage in all phases of design, from initial development to full-rate production support, supervise engineers and technicians, and mentor them on best practices. Additionally, the candidate must have the ability to work across multiple programs.

Candidate will serve as a Electronic Warfare (EW) simulation training developer and instructor in Hunt Valley, MD, with the potential to support training at both US and international customer sites.

About This Role
As a Trade Show & Events Co-op, you will work with the Marketing and Events team to plan and coordinate logistics for Textron Systems’ tradeshow presence throughout the calendar year. You will have an opportunity to build and refine skills within event and tradeshow planning, project management and execution, costing, marketing, relationship development, work prioritization and time management, intrapersonal communication, etc.
In this role, you will be responsible for:

o Plan event details with assigned budget in mind, process show related invoices for payment and record spending
o Provide weekly updates to the tradeshow manager on the status of all projects and tasks
o Update show plans, coordinate planning meetings with key stakeholders pre-show and post-show. Assist with post-show survey logistics and ROI analysis.
o Help maintain inventory of tradeshow properties and event materials
· Utilize meeting scheduling tools to record customer engagements and meeting schedule updates, flow of meetings and use of conference room at select events

Job Summary
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Sourcing Engineer focused on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly as part of the Strategic Outsourcing Strategy. The focus will be to engage with the internal customers to understand the business opportunities, collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Managers to help provide an effective, stable, and successful roadmap for Partnerships and Suppliers for Supply Chain. This individual will support required engineering input (technical producibility/DFX, evaluations, assessments, etc.) for new product development with internal customers, building and acting as a conduit to set up the supply base and with the goal to help mature the manufacturing readiness. The Associate Sourcing Engineer will identify, build, help manage and maintain capable supplier sources, and grow their network and knowledge. They will help drive the optimization of design for supplier manufacturability, design for supplier assembly, outsourcing design to cost & quality, and further support prototyping validation/readiness leading to a successful product roadmap for stable transition to production. Responsibilities will also include the collaboration and integration of the outsourcing strategy with other roles within the Supply Chain and Operations Team and provide Sourcing Engineering value in the establishment of suppliers. The Associate Sourcing Engineer will support upstream activities, such as Bill of Material (BOM) development, Plan for every Part initiative (PFEP), inclusion of emerging manufacturing technologies, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), cost validation & estimating. The Associate Sourcing Engineer will work closely with Design Engineering Team/IPT, Engineering Prototype and Test Teams, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to help complete initial prototype builds, analyze supplier results, and provide technical guidance in the supplier management process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with Sourcing Management and with internal customers (Business Development, Programs, Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.) and provide technical outsourcing recommendations that will support the maturation of business opportunities and program development goals.
· Foster relationships & team positive and engaging attitude while interacting with a diverse and multi-functional workforce during highly paced project development challenges.
· When required, Participate and provide outsourcing technical recommendations during design conceptual reviews.
· Perform outsourcing product & process alignment of technical requirements with all stakeholders
· Identify supplier selection criteria and perform down-selection/trade studies with internal stakeholders.
· Support the development of technical documentation and requirements (specifications, statements of work, etc.) leading to timely release of information to the supply base.
· Support supplier Kick-off’s - Cadence Meetings, Technical Interchange Meetings, Action Lists, Integrated Schedules, and status reporting using Standard work tools and processes.
· When requested, provide inputs, support and review technical evaluation documentation, populate capability development documentation and participate in Design Reviews (TRR, TIM, PDR, CDR, etc.).
· Collaborate with Supply Chain buyers and Sub-Contract and estimating team to develop outsourcing should-cost analysis.
· Work with preferred suppliers and internal team members to develop products and processes and make effective recommendations to optimize producibility and cost.
· Identify and support resolution of supplier/partner gap analysis based on technical & manufacturing readiness assessments to mature the product into a smooth Transition to Production (TTP)
· Perform requirements validations for capability and manufacturability, manage and perform Suppler Issue/risk assessments (DFMEA/PFMEA), and identify mitigation strategies that improve cost, schedule, and quality performance.
· Help identify performance tracking metrics, developing standardized processes and tools for Product Readiness Reviews (PRR) for assessment analysis & tracking.
· Collaborate supplier/part manufacturing and sourcing plans with IPT (Integrated Project Team), including Sub-contract and Buyers.
· Support the identification of cost savings and cost avoidance information for sourcing improvement opportunities.
· Build, maintain and grow a database of potential supplier sources that meet performance criteria based on business mission objectives.
· Benchmark & work with key suppliers to establish effective yield metrics and performance indicators.
· Support execution and delivery of Supply Chain Rapid Prototyping/Procurement request process.
· Support outsourcing of product testing, tooling, fixturing, assembly and validation
· Work with Supplier Development Engineers to ensure supplier quality flow-down, directives and requirements are communicated clearly and understood.
Job Summary:
Provide information systems security support from a managerial and technical standpoint for DoD and Non-DoD classified systems and networks. Standing up and maintaining accreditations for classified systems and networks. Classified Systems & Networks range in complexity and size to include multi-platform computing (Linux, Windows, Solaris, VMWare), virtual environments, and mobile systems. Extensive experience with eMASS, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCSA DAAPM, DISA STIGs. Assemble and maintain security plan accreditation packages per Risk Management Framework (RMF).
ISSO Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
· Provide technical and procedural Information System (IS) Security advice to government and industrial teams.
· Understand, implement, and enforce the security policies and processes that are required by: the NISPOM, DCSA DAAPM, System Security Plans (SSPs), NIST Security Controls.
· Coordinate with PSO or cognizant security official on approval of External Information Systems (e.g. guest systems, interconnected system with another organization).
· Oversee any ISSO/ISSE or Security Analysts under their purview to ensure they follow established IS policies and procedures.
· Assume ISSO/ISSE responsibilities in the absence of other ISSO/ISSE; maintain required IA certifications
· Understand, implement, and enforce security policies and processes to maintain the with respect to: Removable Media Creation, Trusted Download, Safeguarding Classified Information, Classified Markings, Wireless Devices, and relevant System Security Plans (SSPs).
· Perform Systems Administration for Linux/Windows operating systems.
· Serve as the lead for Windows/Linux security configurations and interact with Textron Systems and Government Approving Authorities for all inspections of these systems.
· Utilize a variety of accredited security software tools to conduct vulnerability assessments, continuous monitoring scans, and those employed to maintain OS configurations.
· Coordinate IS security inspections, tests, and reviews
· Ensure CM policies and procedures for authorizing the use of hardware/software on an IS are followed. Any additions, changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware must be coordinated with the appropriate AO prior to the addition, change or modification
· Maintain a working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures
· Working experience with High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptors/TACLANE
· Analyze security audits for non-standard events and media write control logs. Assist in investigations involving anomalies
· Validate systems & networks are patched in accordance with IAVM guidelines for patching and executing Continuous Monitoring activities
· Maintain a working knowledge of Textron Systems security policies and procedures and the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Be knowledgeable of and enforce policies in the area of information systems security, including Textron Systems and Government policies related to IT security.

System Administrators collaborate with a diverse team to support classified information systems. Knowledge of Windows and Linux desktop and server operating systems is required. The System Administrator is responsible for information system patching, anti-virus updates and installations, vulnerability management, and user account management. You will work with Cybersecurity professionals, such as ISSM, ISSO to maintain security compliance requirements. This candidate will perform desktop support, resetting passwords, installing, network configuration and troubleshooting, upgrading applications, and respond to incidents that occur on the information systems.
Systems Administrator Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
• The ability to maintain an Active SECRET Clearance.
• 3+ years of Windows and/or Linux System Admin experience, certifications and degree considered in lieu of experience.
