About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Read and interpret basic drawings and weld symbols
- Passing Textron’s aluminum MIG (GMAW) weld test procedure
- Perform as a productive working team member that meets daily goals set by the supervisor.
- MIG welding of aluminum materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
- Use of power tools (gougers, circular saws, grinders) in a safe, compliant manor
- Operate cranes and forklifts
- Assist supervisor to maintain control of department equipment and its maintenance.
- May instruct and mentor less-skilled welders, as assigned
- Works with a sense of urgency, efficiency and productive out put
- Maintains safe work practices and adheres to safety policies and procedures
- Ensure correct construction procedures are adhered to
- Ability to work shifts or overtime as required, must be flexible
- Maintain general housekeeping, keep materials and equipment stowed in an orderly manner
- Monitors working environment for compliance with quality, safety, environmental and health regulations and report deficiencies to supervisor
- Demonstrated ability to weld fillets for material thicknesses 4mm- 10mm
- Demonstrated ability to weld frame wraps and terminations with minimal blending required
- Demonstrated ability to weld T-Bar wraps and terminations with minimal blending required.
- Demonstrated ability to weld into corners / vertical intersections with minimal blending required
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and correct basic weld pick up, with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to weld groove/butt joints with satisfactory radiographic testing (NDT)
- Demonstrated ability to back step and sequence weld based upon provided information and/or good welding practices

About This Role
Textron Systems is hiring a Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) Business Partner who will be based at the company’s New Orleans, Louisiana Shipyard. The team designates MARCOM Business Partners for each of our business lines, which are part of the company’s comprehensive portfolio of capabilities. MARCOM Business Partners serve as a first point of contact (POC) for emerging business line questions and requirements. Of equal importance, they work proactively with the business lines to discuss long-range business strategies including new business capture and keep-it-sold efforts. The Business Partners then engage the broader MARCOM team’s centers of excellence – Creative Services/Digital Development, External Communications, Employee & Leader Communications, Trade Shows & Events – to partner on development, execution and measurement of comprehensive, multichannel MARCOM strategies in support of their business line(s).
As a MARCOM Business Partner, you will:
• Work collaboratively with your assigned business lines at all levels, as well as with the broader MARCOM team, to create, execute and measure annual MARCOM plans, encompassing compelling campaigns and content that support domain strategies and growth.
• Use research, analytics and other resources to become an expert on stakeholder audiences.
• Research the competitive landscape to inform product/program positioning and messaging, and craft clear and compelling value propositions for our products and programs that differentiate us in the marketplace.
• Alongside the broader MARCOM team, develop, execute and measure MARCOM strategies tailored to specific audiences, ensuring that messaging aligns with each audience to drive engagement.
• Continuously improve results by evaluating and making decisions based on key performance indicators.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Establish and support product/program MARCOM campaigns as described above to drive revenue
• Maintain accountability for all timelines and budgets associated with plans and campaigns in support of your assigned domain(s)
• Develop and implement product/program content and updates across internal and external channels including digital, social and print
• Collaborate cross-functionally and with external partners to lead the creative development process for product/program MARCOM collateral, video, advertising, etc.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and with external partners to develop shot lists/storyboards, legal and security checks and execute photo and video shoots to support product/program MARCOM campaigns
• Timely project initiation to allow for ample production time on the part of internal and external teammates and review time by designated approvers
• Adhere to established policies, procedures and contractual obligations, including required internal and external approvals
• Support local, regional, national or international events (i.e., trade shows, demonstrations, team meetings, conferences, industry events) as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

About This Role
Under limited supervision, performs complex and diverse administrative tasks for contracts associated with government, commercial and international customers. In performing this role, the Sr. Contracts Assistant will:
- Gather data, maintain logs, and prepare reports for both internal and external customers
- Ensure contract deliverables are accurately tracked and reported?
- Review incoming contract documents for accuracy and completeness, prepares and routes documents for approvals, enters approved data into the corporate database, and maintains accurate and complete contract files, databases, and records
- Update and maintain System for Award Management (SAM) for all Business Lines and site locations.

A Test Flight Electrician performs all tasks associated with electrical/electronic system testing and maintenance as assigned by management.
Responsibilities:
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Electrical/Electronic system test conduct
- Electrical/Electronic system troubleshooting & resolution
- Conduct maintenance on electrical/electronic systems
- Electrical/Electronic support for craft operations – on ramp & underway
- Cable fabrication, electrical panel assembly, wire stripping, electrical schematics layouts, hook-ups, and soldering
- Must be able to work from Engineering drawings, sketches, blueprints, schematics and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Perform job duties with the use of basic hand tools such as screw drivers, pliers, wire cutters, drill motors, sand and grinding tools, etc.
- Maintain records, forms, and logs as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

The Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the configuration management process within the organization. This role involves ensuring that all IT systems and software are properly documented, tracked, and maintained to support the organization's operational needs. The Configuration Management Analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure that configuration management practices are adhered to and that all changes are properly documented and controlled.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
- Track and manage configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle, including identification, control, status accounting, and auditing.
- Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct regular audits of configuration items to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
- Provide training and support to staff on configuration management processes and tools.
- Generate and distribute configuration management reports to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and implementation of configuration management tools and systems.
- Actively participate in the change management processes to ensure that changes are properly evaluated and implemented.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that configuration management requirements are integrated into project plans.

About This Role
Job Summary:
The Associate Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for performing detailed financial analysis and reporting for their assigned contracts. In this role, the Analyst will interact closely with the program team and functional departments to ensure the accuracy of monthly cost projections, and sales and profit forecasts.

- Conducting program analysis, maintain forecasts, and provide monthly Estimate at Completion (EACs)
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining Corporate Financial Reports, Program Status Reports, and Earned Value reports
- Ensure program financials are accurate and complete and are in accordance with SOX and internal corporate controls
- Use analysis to identify and investigate program issues and advise on appropriate course of action.
- Provide real time program financial status to Finance Manager as well as Ad-hoc financial analysis
- Present financial data during monthly and quarterly reviews to an audience consisting of front line and executive level management.
- Be an integral part of the program team, keeping the Program Manager up to date on the financial status of the programs and providing suggestions to help mitigate future risk

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Research and implement a couple of small projects that will be determined over the next 6 months. These would be facility sustainment or equipment related projects.
- Identify areas to reduce costs such as recycling or energy conservation and develop standards to implement.
- Might be tasked to manage a project that involves outside contractors (depends on timeframe of scheduled work)
- Work with Supervisor & Leads to identify areas of concern that could be simplified, or efficiency improved with better equipment.
- Facilities/Maintenance Reliability Engineer covers work across every inch of the facility other than working on the product itself, therefore there is a wide range of work and opportunities that need to be identified and improvements created. That is the object of this role.

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Purchase materials from supplies at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
- Study market trends, interview vendors and recommends sources of supply
- Solicit and analyze quotations required to satisfy all the requirements of the authorizing source documentation
- Monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries of quality products to maintain production, following up on orders to expedite shipment and delivery as needed
- Negotiate for any adjustments resulting from price analysis, discrepant materials, surplus or obsolete materials, contract terminations or a purchase order cancellation
- Obtain certifications of delivery and conduct item delivery validation. Check and improve payment of invoices
- Develop and maintain necessary records and files for compliance purposes. Support preparation of proposal cost data

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborates with Engineering on desired production tooling and build-plan methodology and gives input/feedback on associated design criteria; analyzes engineering design to determine manufacturability of components and assemblies.
- Guide and determine manufacturing processes, tooling methodology, discrete manufacturing operations and associated time standards to be used to produce new parts/assemblies from detail component fabrication thru job-level installation; authors and maintains process plans for shop floor methods/work instructions.
- Develops learning curve and actual hour projections for new program production incorporation; analyzes actual performance and makes necessary process improvement recommendations.
- Oversee process to create manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) to break engineering product structure into logical manufacturing methodology and sequence to enable MRP processes for order release, scheduling, and purchased component sourcing activities.
- Provides technical guidance to initiate and drive Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) on production issues related to engineering design, material, tooling, specifications and processes.
- Analyzes/Interprets engineering drawing, manufacturing operation sequence, tooling function, and process specifications and issues engineering change requests (ECR).
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
