About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking a Marketing Associate to support Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) activities across multiple business lines, gaining exposure to the full portfolio and developing foundational business acumen.
The Marketing Associate will build technical functional skills across the marketing mix. This role offers hands-on learning opportunities including development of marketing materials across channels and formats, conducting and summarizing research, gathering and sharing data and metrics, shadowing our MARCOM Business Partners, collaborating with MARCOM centers of excellence, and taking ownership of both recurring duties and individual projects.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Support the development, execution and measurement of marketing campaigns and content across internal and external channels.
Help conduct audience and competitive research to inform messaging and positioning.
Draft and update product/program content, marketing collateral, digital content and other marketing materials across formats and channels.
Collaborate with Creative Services/Digital Development, External Communications, Employee Communications, and Trade Shows & Events teams to execute work.
Assist in developing shot lists/storyboards and participate in photo and video shoot coordination.
Support local, regional, and national events, including trade shows, demonstrations, conferences, and internal meetings.
Participate in project initiation, approval processes, and quality checks.
Take on assigned individual projects and recurring duties that contribute to strategic marketing initiatives.
Submitting invoices and working with vendor partners.
Other duties as assigned.

About This Role
The Textron Systems Senior Tradeshow & Events Specialist will plan and execute these activations for our comprehensive portfolio of products and domains (business lines). Reporting to the Manager of Trade Shows & Events, this position is part of Textron Systems’ Marketing & Communications team. The position is located in Hunt Valley, MD.
· In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Supporting annual trade show and event planning and budgeting
· Conducting research and analysis of proposed domestic and international trade shows and recommend an optimal mix based on strategic business requirements, customer focus, ROI and cost
· Provide on-site management for selected events (travel approx. 60%)
· Independently manage all aspects of assigned events with superior attention to detail:
· Event and attendee logistics (Show registrations and hotel room blocks)
· Show organizer deadlines
· Vendor deadlines including housing, badge passes, trade show logistics, invitations, graphics, video, shipping, etc.
· Collaborate with events team members and marketing colleagues to offer creative solutions and ideas
· Assigned budget, including processing show related invoices for payment and keeping record spending using team budget trackers
· Regular status updates
· Creating and maintaining the show plan, coordinating all planning meetings with the key stakeholders pre-show and post-show
· Lead post-event survey, measurement, analysis and continuous improvement efforts to demonstrate ROI
· Inventory of tradeshow properties, event materials and giveaways
· When attending an event, greet customers and new visitors, and act as a brand ambassador for Textron Systems to ensure consistent and professional messaging
· Manage staffing and meeting requirements on-site
· Record customer engagements and manage meeting schedule updates, flow of meetings and use of conference rooms at select events
· Other duties as assigned

Textron Systems is seeking an Innovation & Growth Analyst to drive data-informed growth decisions through rigorous market analysis, competitive intelligence, and opportunity evaluation.
This is a mid-level, analytics-focused role with ownership of insight generation. The Analyst will independently frame questions, structure analyses, and deliver actionable recommendations that directly influence strategy, investment priorities, and business development focus areas.
This role operates at the intersection of strategy, market intelligence, and data analytics, partnering closely with Business Development, Engineering, Finance, and leadership to assess where the business should compete and how it can win.
Responsibilities
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Own development of recurring market intelligence products (market landscapes, competitor assessments, and trend reports)
- Analyze industry dynamics, customer demand signals, and funding priorities to identify growth vectors
- Synthesize win/loss data, competitor positioning, and capability gaps into actionable insights
- Provide forward-looking perspectives on how markets and competitors are evolving
Opportunity Identification & Prioritization
- Identify, screen, and prioritize growth opportunities using structured frameworks
- Lead analytical efforts to validate early-stage opportunities, including market sizing, demand analysis, and risk assessment
- Partner with Business Development to refine pipeline strategy and focus resources on the highest-value pursuits
- Support development of business cases for new investments, partnerships, or capability expansion
Analytics & Insight Generation
- Integrate internal and external data sources to identify patterns, trends, and strategic insights
- Build models, dashboards, and visualizations that enable ongoing decision support
- Apply advanced Excel and, where applicable, BI or data tools to improve analytical rigor and scalability
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and insight generation
Strategic Decision Support
- Develop executive-level briefings that clearly translate analysis into recommendations and trade-offs
- Support strategic planning cycles, including long-range planning and growth initiatives
- Support cross-functional stakeholders in shaping growth strategies
