Welder - About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role you will be responsible for:
- MIG Weld is a minimum, TIG Weld preferred.
- Welding of aluminum and other metal materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions.
- Climbing on and over vehicles, up and down ladders.
- Tack welding (kneeling, standing, sitting, lying, overhead burning of steel, dragging torch line)
- Use of jacks, porta-powers and come-a longs; some of which can weigh as much as 25 lbs.
- Lifting of material and tools (jacks, porta-powers, come-a longs, etc. Also loading and unloading of parts.
- Crawling through craft or on top of.
- Bending and twisting of your body as needed to get into different compartments.
- Operation of cranes, forklifts.
- Use of power tools (gougers, skill saws, cut saws, grinders). All require two hands on tools to operate in safe manner.
- Walking on tops of frames and tees (uneven walking surfaces)

Job Summary:
A Senior Production Planner will develop and manage the execution of the production schedule as a result of line of balance output, taking into consideration the available capacity, material availability and program delivery commitments. A Senior Production Planner communicates to leadership and program managers the manufacturing status, expected completion dates and production risk analysis based on internal and external supply.
Responsibilities:
- Leads cross-functional collaboration with procurement, production management, quality, engineering, program management, and other supply chain functions to drive strategic planning, scheduling, and execution across development, production, and aftermarket support environments.
- Owns and directs all aspects of production planning and execution within assigned planner codes, including the release of internal manufacturing orders, procurement requisitions, and proactive resolution of supply chain disruptions, internal/external constraints, and material shortages. Provides strategic recommendations and insights to internal stakeholders.
- Provides reporting and recommendations to Sr leadership, ensuring transparency on production progress, material readiness, and potential risks. Develops and implements strategies to optimize resource utilization, minimize bottlenecks, and drive operational efficiency.
- Monitors and optimizes supply chain performance, identifying constraints and implementing solutions to maintain production flow, balance inventory levels, and ensure timely procurement of components based on master schedules and operational demands.
- Serves as a key member of Integrated Product Teams (IPT), providing high-level production planning expertise and influencing decisions to support program milestones, cost targets, and delivery commitments

The Weapon Systems business is seeking a Manufacturing Program Scheduler for the Wilmington, MA location. The Manufacturing Program Scheduler will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing integrated manufacturing schedules to ensure program milestones, production commitments, and delivery requirements are achieved.
This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure program execution meets mission objectives. A successful candidate in this role will be self-driven, action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and exhibit a team mentality. Responsibilities:

About This Role

A Material Expeditor utilizes Oracle and Solumina to perform a variety of duties. These duties will include electronically moving Discrete Jobs through process steps, issuing material from inventory, stocking material, and closing Discrete Jobs. The main function of this role is to partner with Production Control and Planning to prioritize and distribute material to Production at the point of use. Additionally, a Sr. Material Handler - Expeditor is responsible for the coordination and physical movement of material as outlined in the “Responsibilities” section below.
Responsibilities:
- Electronically processes Discrete Jobs within Oracle and Solumina to delivery, stock, and move material throughout the floor and complete Discrete Jobs.
- Coordinate and execute critical part movement with the warehouse, support material movement to MRB, and support the return to vendor process when needed.
- Stages material such as: kits for items originating from other facilities, parts or kits originating within the same facility and delivering to the proper work-centers on the Production floor.
- Ordering Point of use materials from the warehouse such as: Free bin, Min Max, Hazardous consumables, and any other related materials.
- Coordinates with Manufacturing Engineers, Production Control Analysts and Quality Control on material problems found on the Production floor (non-conforming material, lost parts, items routed incorrectly, return to stocks etc.)
- Troubleshoots DJ order releases, material requirements, routings, and availability with Production Control, Manufacturing Engineering, and Material Planning groups.
- Troubleshoots systems-based issues with Oracle, Solumina, eMatrix, Zebra Devices, etc.

About This Role

An Electronic Assembler builds and tests electronic products by following blueprints and instructions. Key duties include soldering components, wiring, mounting parts onto circuit boards, and performing quality checks to ensure the products meet specifications. This role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various hand tools and measurement devices in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assemble electronic components, such as resistors, capacitors, circuit boards, and wire harnesses into larger systems.
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, detailed work instructions, and technical specifications to determine material requirements and assembly procedures.
• Perform skilled hand work, including soldering (through-hole and surface mount), crimping, and wiring to create secure electrical connections and harnesses, following proper techniques to prevent defects.
• Mount parts and components securely into casings or larger assemblies.
• Conduct tests and inspections of products and subassemblies using testing equipment (e.g., multimeters) to verify functionality and ensure conformance to quality standards and specifications (such as IPC standards).

Job Summary
Textron Systems Wilmington, MA is seeking a Manufacturing or Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to learn and enhance their advanced manufacturing process capabilities. Necessary skills are Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, product transition to production within the development phase of the product life cycle and support of existing products.
This individual will be responsible for providing manufacturing engineering input to support new product development, and to optimize design for manufacturability, design for assembly, design to cost, and transition to production. This individual will work alongside the design engineering team during the preliminary development phases of emerging programs to analyze and improve manufacturing cost, quality, and DFX. Responsibilities will also include other upstream activities such as capital equipment, facility requirements, existing and emerging manufacturing technologies, tool design, cost estimating, and configuration control. This individual will work closely with Design Engineering, Engineering Prototype Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, Machinists, and Assembly Technicians to complete initial prototype builds, analyze results, and refine engineering designs.
About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Provide manufacturing engineering input to support new product development, from initial conceptual design to the transition-to-production phase
• Perform design for manufacturability, design for assembly, and design to cost analyses during the preliminary development phase of emerging programs and drive changes early in product development to improve manufacturability
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Engineering Prototype Technicians, Machinists, Assembly Technicians, and other Manufacturing Engineers to provide a clear line of communication between design and manufacturing.
