Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist manages the recruiting life cycle for the organization to ensure that the right people are in place to meet the demands of the business. The TA Specialist employs a variety of creative sourcing strategies to identify a high quality candidate pool (internal and external) in an efficient, cost effective manner, interviewing and presenting pre-qualified candidates for all positions. The role partners with HRBPs and hiring managers to benchmark processes, adjust strategy, set expectations and drive the hire/no hire decision. The TA Specialist coaches hiring managers on selection strategy and behavioral interviewing and complies with all regulatory and legal requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Closely partners with hiring managers, interview teams, and HRBPs to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria; drive identification of recruiting needs to support recruiting strategy and execute to hiring plan.
- Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure candidates are reviewed and dispositioned in a timely manner
- Support strategic initiatives for recruiting experienced management, professional, entry level, and hourly manufacturing roles in a multi-site organization utilizing an applicant tracking system.
- Proactively source potential applicants via LinkedIn/Indeed, attend career fairs, make cold calls, and any other creative methods to locate qualified individuals
- Create and conduct effective phone screens and select qualified candidates to submit to hiring managers for further consideration
- Extend and negotiate offers for potential candidates; partnering with HRBPs and hiring managers to secure talent
- Collaborate with various Textron Systems business units to ensure alignment on talent strategy. Conduct weekly meetings to maintain communication on req status and priorities
- Support the Textron Systems brand identity and value proposition that is consistently communicated to the marketplace and attracts candidates that match the company’s cultural expectations.
- Lead efforts to create/support strategic workforce planning across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with local/state/federal laws, regulations, and company policies.

About This Role
The HR Coordinator is a vital member of the Human Resources team, serving as the backbone of daily operations and compliance efforts. This role combines administrative expertise with a focus on maintaining accurate employee data, supporting seamless onboarding experiences, and ensuring the organization meets critical compliance requirements. Acting as a key collaborator within the HR function, the Coordinator contributes to creating an efficient and organized environment by managing essential record-keeping, internal resources, and compliance programs. With a high level of attention to detail and confidentiality, the individual in this role will support the wider HR team’s ability to deliver exceptional service while fostering a culture of operational excellence and regulatory accountability.
Responsibilities
· Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Operations and Compliance team by conducting daily standardized data audits and ensuring data accuracy.
· Support onboarding processes, including preparation of orientation documentation, coordinating orientation schedules, and assisting with day-of orientation logistics.
· Maintain employee files and records in compliance with both internal record retention policies and external requirements for government contractors.
· Oversee the HR Intranet page, including regular content updates, posting of company policies, and exploring opportunities for improvement in usability and accessibility.
· Respond to external data and information requests, ensuring timely and accurate communication while adhering to compliance requirements.
· Administer and audit employment eligibility forms (e.g., I-9s) to ensure compliance with federal regulations, including regular reviews of records.
· Manage employment poster compliance for all Textron Systems’ operations by partnering with an external vendor to ensure up-to-date postings across all locations.
· Serve as Office Manager for Human Resources in the Hunt Valley, MD office, managing tasks such as office supply orders, standardized departmental materials (e.g., slide decks), processing invoices, and distributing mail.
· Safeguard sensitive information by maintaining a high level of confidentiality while working with employee records, data, and compliance materials.

About This Role
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides partnership, counsel, and guidance to leaders to support the strategy around workforce planning, organizational design, talent and performance management, training and development, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, and employee relations to deliver business solutions and services. Builds collaborative relationships with HR team and customers; gains understanding of business plans and strategies to provide relevant insight and HR actions to support overall business objectives.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide business partner coverage to shop floor employees and leaders while helping to foster a positive employee relations environment.
- Consult with assigned business leaders, including Executive Leadership team members, and provide recommendations in areas to include talent acquisition; performance and career management; organizational structure; work force planning; employee relations and performance improvement; pay for performance (Compensation philosophies); employee engagement; and change management.
- Understand overall business, strategy and objectives, competitive landscape, current and future business challenges to provide HR support and solutions
- Provide guidance to help define talent needs, recruit and retain talent to meet the needs of the business, including internal growth and promotion opportunities to support talent mobility and retain top performers
- Apply Talent Review and performance management processes to develop an accurate picture of leadership talent and development requirements and ensure execution of agreed talent development plans
- Ensure compliance with local/state/federal laws, regulations, company policies and Textron Business Conduct Guidelines
- Identify and lead process improvement, other duties as assigned
