About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to focus on electronics/electrical manufacturing assembly and testing of products across the product life cycle spectrum. As part of our dedicated ISC team, Manufacturing Process Engineer’s principal responsibilities are to develop repeatable and reproducible assembly, inspection, and test instructions, identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes. Responsibilities will also include other upstream activities such as capital equipment, facility requirements, existing and emerging manufacturing technologies, tool design, cost estimating, and configuration control. This individual will work closely with Design Engineering, Manufacturing and Assembly Technicians to complete builds, analyze results and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Assembly Technicians and other Manufacturing Engineers to provide a clear line of communication between design and manufacturing.
• Perform make/buy analyses for new designs by reviewing drawings, sketches, and schematics.
• Determine necessary capital equipment, facility requirements, manufacturing technologies, and other manufacturing requirements for emerging programs.
• Develop manufacturing processes, procedures, tool designs, production layouts, cost estimates, and configuration control methods for efficient manufacturing of new products.
• Identify emerging manufacturing technologies and perform cost/benefit analysis for implementation.
• Develop factory floorplans and equipment arrangements with facilities to ensure efficient and productive flow.
• Develop detailed manufacturing process documents by providing technical knowhow and drive best practices.

We are seeking a talented test engineer with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background to support a major US Army Program. As a Test Engineer, you will perform planning, coordination, and execution of component, subsystem, and system level tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. Responsibilities

The Aero-Thermal Engineering Analyst will be responsible for generating aerodynamic characteristics, aero-thermal heat transfer environments and thermal responses over a wide range of flight condition, from low speeds up through hypersonic flow fields associated with flight vehicles in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. The position requires some level of expertise in the generation/use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) models, MATLAB and Ansys Fluent Computational Fluids Dynamics (CFD) software tool, as well as an interest in acquiring a working knowledge of Textron Systems legacy aero-thermal computer codes. The analysis techniques used, as well as the compiled results, will be summarized in presentations and detailed design analysis reports.
Responsibilities
· Serve as aerodynamic analyst generating aerodynamic characteristics (pressures, loads and aero coefficients) in the strategic missiles and reentry vehicle area.
· Serve as aerothermal analyst generating aero heating environments to support thermal analyses of flight vehicles in the strategic missiles business line.
· Serve as thermal analyst generating the thermal profiles for exterior/interior structures and payloads, resulting from the environments developed in the flow fields surrounding flight vehicles over a wide range of flight conditions.
· Serve as thermal analyst performing steady-state and/or transient thermal analyses that include various methods of heat transfer, such as conduction, convection, and radiation.
· Utilize a combination of commercial of the shelf (COTS) tools (Siemens NX, Ansys Fluent, MATLAB) and Textron developed software tools to generate the aerodynamic, aerothermal and thermodynamic characteristics described above.
· Define recommended changes to improve the performance/efficiency of aero/thermodynamic design features.
· Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports.
· Up to 5% travel may be required.

Job Summary:
Come join the team to work as an integral part of the Lycoming engineering team to support existing engineering frameworks and project initiatives to meet the evolving demand in digitization, electronification and modernization of the propulsion sub-systems in the general aviation space. The selected individual will be responsible for developing software solutions for various products in their respective design lifecycle.
The selected candidate will interface with Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering on a regular basis; meanwhile interface with Customers and Suppliers on an as-needed regular basis. Participation in onsite visits to customer or supplier locations as engineering representative may be required on an as-needed basis.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
· Utilization of graphical programming language primarily LabVIEW to augment existing SW product offerings for customers
· Software requirements and specification development to support cross-functional engineering development and verification activities
· Test case development and implementation in HILSIM environment for hardware-software verification and validation of various engineering programs
