About This Role
The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for delivering strategic and tactical supply chain activities for our Marine supply base to effectively support all Textron Systems’ businesses across all site locations with a focus on overall external supply chain improvement.
The objective is simple: create an optimized external supply chain enabling the highest levels of competition among the highest performing suppliers geographically located to optimally support our business throughout all phases of the product life cycle with a particular focus on quality. This includes supplier assessment and development, supplier identification, and supplier management. This resource will need to work collaboratively across functions to understand the needs of the business and drive supply chain execution and accountability to improve the service level provided to operations and customers.
This role has the ability to travel and see all types of suppliers, support multiple product lines and components/assemblies, solve dynamic problems through supplier management, and partner with business functions like program management, engineering, and their supply chain functions. The Supplier Development Engineer is specifically responsible for driving results with our suppliers across multiple supply categories for our Weapons programs in all facets of performance, including delivery and quality.
This role will report directly to the Manager of Supplier Development within the Supply Chain organization.
Responsibilities:
· Perform and/or participate in source qualification by performing quality management system surveys and special process surveys.
· Solicit supplier inputs into product design, considering design for manufacturability, cost, reliability, parts availability, and more.
· Assist in performing Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRA) as appropriate for suppliers.
· Coordinate the effective flow-downs of contractual requirements to suppliers along with alignment on quality codes and performance expectations.
· Partner with other internal Supply Chain teams and Quality Engineering to ensure a smooth transition to new sources enabling seamless execution via leading effective Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM).
· Coordinate quality engineering to determine inspection requirements for suppliers, and execute various inspection requirements including first article inspections, non-conformance generation, material review board etc.
· Assist in management of critical supplier issues to improve overall execution.
· Lead risk assessments via FMEA/Risk Cubes, RCCA, countermeasures and supplier scorecard reviews.
· Perform data analysis and issue reports on supplier performance to ensure suppliers meet and maintain expected performance levels inclusive of quality and delivery.

About the Role:
At Lycoming Engines, our Quality Engineers develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure that products are manufactured to the highest standards. This position will equip the candidate with a strong background in quality engineering within the aerospace manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with Six Sigma methodologies, AS9100 standards, and FAA regulatory requirements. A deep understanding of advanced quality tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Value Stream Mapping is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and FAA regulatory requirements.
· Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and improve product quality.
· Perform internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.

About This Role
The Marine Systems business is seeking a Subcontract Project Manager for the New Orleans, LA location. The Project Manager will own a subset of acquisitions for a major defense program, under the supervisor of a Sr. Subcontracts Manager, and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Marine Systems SCM & Program Office.
This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure supplier program execution that meets mission objectives. A successful candidate in this role will be action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and exhibit a team mentality.
Responsibilities:
The Subcontract Project Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
· Partnering with Program Mgt to consolidate subcontractor contractual requirements and specifications into accurate comprehensive requests for proposal (RFP) prior to the issuance of RFPs to prospective subcontractors.
· Examining bid responses and initiating cost and pricing analysis using results thereof combined with program objectives to develop negotiation strategy and negotiate price, terms and work scope.
· Negotiating, placing, and managing of complex, high dollar subcontracts within a government acquisition environment, including both cost and fixed price material and service type subcontracts.
· Originating formal subcontract documents and coordinating inputs and approvals from both functional and programmatic leadership stakeholders including all pertinent government Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements when applicable.
· Understanding the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and critical path for the supplier subset of the program and executing any mitigation efforts to ensure on-time / early completion of tasking.
· Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of subcontractor program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner to Contract requirements.
· Monitoring subcontractor performance, identifying issues early on to implement corrective actions with the Supplier Development team
· Participating in program meetings, obtaining data and requirements which must be transmitted to or obtained from subcontractors via correspondence or telephone.
· Working creatively to solve supplier and external customer problems and communicating program progress both internally and externally.
· Facilitating, maintaining and controlling all correspondence between Textron Systems and subcontractor.

Position Summary: Investigates safety issues and concerns and ensures appropriate local, state, federal laws and regulations are being followed in all Lycoming Engines facilities. Job will involve understanding OSHA and other federal safety regulations. Will use various EHS tools, instruments, skills to ensure compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Safety technician will spend approximately 60% of time out on the production floor performing various Environmental & Safety inspections, observations, audits. The remaining 40% will be administrative tasks such as compiling EHS metrics, documentation of issues and corrective actions, development of training programs, etc. Some

· Coordinate Plant EHS activities including but not limited to safety inspections, evaluations, trainings and consultations related to worksites, equipment, vehicles, materials, facilities and procedures.
· Conducts periodic site inspections to ensure compliance with state, federal, local entities including OSHA, DEP, EPA, NIOSH, Life Safety Codes and Global corporate standards.
· Conducts all training programs required by regulation and ensure they are conducted in a timely manner.
· Conducts accident site investigations, including determining accident causes, taking preventative measures and making recommendations for corrective or preventative measures. Assists with implementation of recommendations and performs follow up inspections to ensure corrective action is completed and effective.
