About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Purchase materials from supplies at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
- Study market trends, interview vendors and recommends sources of supply
- Solicit and analyze quotations required to satisfy all the requirements of the authorizing source documentation
- Monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries of quality products to maintain production, following up on orders to expedite shipment and delivery as needed
- Negotiate for any adjustments resulting from price analysis, discrepant materials, surplus or obsolete materials, contract terminations or a purchase order cancellation
- Obtain certifications of delivery and conduct item delivery validation. Check and improve payment of invoices
- Develop and maintain necessary records and files for compliance purposes. Support preparation of proposal cost data
Job Summary:
This includes and is not limited to day-to-day inventory control functions, including WIP, receiving, and warehouse inventory. As an Inventory Control Analyst, your job duties include collecting inventory and sales data, identifying, and analyzing discrepancies, developing, and improving inventory control systems, maintaining detailed records of transactions, and verifying inventory counts from company warehouses and stockrooms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule and distribute the daily cycle count for completion by bargaining unit.
- Determine root cause of cycle count discrepancies, coordinate corrective action, and make timely adjustments to inventory.
- Coordinate closely with supervision of Warehousing, Shipping, Quality and Operations.
- Implement and improve Warehouse procedures for controlling material for assemblies and finished goods.
- Recommend the establishment and modifications of departmental instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Provide input in the establishment of long-term strategic objectives, facility plans and recommend what is needed to achieve those objectives and goals.
- Conduct Continuous Improvement activities in support of the Warehouse and Logistics Department.
- Act as subject matter expert for problem resolution relating to material expediting issues.
- Optimize cost effectiveness for inventory storage and segregation.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
· Perform all work in a safe manner. Report all safety issues immediately and make corrective actions.
· Ensure that all material is handled / stored / transported and delivered correctly.
· Deliver parts completely and timely to support production schedules.
· Maintain minimum inventory audit accuracy of 95%.
· Follow all procedures to ensure compliance in all aspects of warehousing/transportation duties.
· Pass all internal and external audits including meeting cycle count requirements.
About This Role

- Assists in the execution of environmental protection, accident prevention/control and EHS training programs
- Aids in the preparation of scheduling routine and random sampling and analysis to ensure proper wastewater, air, drinking water, air emission and waste management, as appropriate.
- Provide technical support in the transport of hazardous/regulated materials and wastes.
- Reviews daily inventory receipts and ensures that all hazardous materials have been pre-approved for use.
- Under direction of senior management, tracks and prepares reports on injuries, incidents, workers compensation, emissions, effluents, energy consumption and waste generation as required by federal, state and corporate entities.
- Maintain employee EHS training records.
- Assists in safety inspection of equipment and/or audits of processes for conformance with safety and environmental compliance requirements (OSHA, EPA, and other federal agencies, the State of Louisiana and Parish and municipal regulatory agencies) and Textron/Textron Systems policy/procedures. Participates in injury/incident investigations.
- Assists in the determination of root-cause analysis and recommends corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence of said injuries/incidents.
- Provide support to safety management programs.

Job Summary:
The position requires knowledge in the fundamentals of an AS9100 based Quality Management System (QMS). This position will be assigned to lead the quality management and improvement efforts in an electronics and microwave production facility. The position will identify and review KPIs, work with peer organizations to identify problems and resolve those problems using standard industry improvement tools. This position has oversight of Quality Engineers and Inspection personnel and is responsible for quality activities and improvements for this dedicated factory location.
This position must coordinate activities collaboratively with the departments including, but not limited to, Production Control, Manufacturing, Engineering and Human Resources. Interfaces effectively with all levels and departments within the organization including Textron Senior Leaders.
Responsibilities:
- • Collaborate with other Textron sites with similar manufacturing operations to share best practices and develop common processes.
- • Develop proactive measures to ensure product and process quality.
- • Establishes quality requirements, identify problems, and take corrective actions to improve quality.
- • Maintain and report quality metrics and make recommendations and implement solutions for corrective action to achieve and maintain business goals.
- • Review Contract Directives (CD) and Program Directives (PD) to assure Quality System compliance is maintained and coordinate the Flow down of applicable requirements to respective team personnel. Ensure factory is following common processes or approved process deviations as required for customer or commodity characteristics.
- • Responsible for leading and providing overall day-to-day direction and management of Quality roles and responsibilities inclusive of employee evaluations, and talent development.
- • Supports the staff in strategic planning, goal setting, and development of operating and capital expenditures budgets for the QA Department. Supports assigned factory with the identification and attainment of business goals and customer requirements.
- Perform reporting activities as required to comply with: Superfund Amendment and Reauthorization Act (SARA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and other waste management regulations, Clean Air Act and its Amendments (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Above ground & underground storage tank regulations, Pollution Prevention Contingency plan and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure plan and Technical oversight of wastewater treatment system
- Lead sustainability program: Oversee Green Team, report metrics around energy usage and pollution prevention activities, work with maintenance and other functions to drive sustainability initiatives and projects
- Support safety program: Participate in 5S and other Health & Safety activities, provides safety and other safety related activities as required

About This Role
This position involves performing visual and dimensional inspection of incoming resale and raw materials, time/temperature sensitive materials, hardware and in-process parts for quality workmanship, appearance and conformity to applicable specifications and standards. It involves packaging and distributing incoming articles after reviewing accompanying documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Job Description:
- Inspects purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials for conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices: Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
- Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
- Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to blueprints, parts manuals, company or military standards, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
- Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
- May test hardness of metals, using testing equipment.
- May inspect outgoing and production line parts and materials.
- May perform basic electrical tests.

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the organization's manufacturing and/or production operations including assembly, machinery, processing and/or packaging.
- Sets production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources, and volume required to meet demand and to ensure maximum production quantity and quality.
- Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.
- Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
- Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
- Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.

About This Role

- Generate metrics, analyze metric output and build business object reports
- Assist in planning, reviewing and maintaining production schedule, to include supporting and facilitating production teams to meet daily production requirements
- Evaluate and review production output to provide management with daily analysis and reporting of production status
