About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Purchasing complex mechanical assemblies from suppliers at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
· Conduct market research and price analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
· Solicit and analyze quotations required to satisfy all the requirements of the authorizing source documentation.
· Monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries of quality products to maintain production, following up on orders to expedite shipment and delivery as needed.
· Negotiate for any adjustments resulting from price analysis, discrepant materials, surplus or obsolete materials, contract terminations or a purchase order cancellation.
· Obtain certifications of delivery and conduct item delivery validation. Check and approve payment of invoices
· Develop and maintain necessary records and files for compliance purposes. Support preparation of proposal cost data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, etc.) to understand needs and develop sourcing strategies.
Mentor and provide guidance to Buyers, customers and support functions.

Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) leads the Quality Assurance department. The QAM manages company Quality Assurance personnel with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The QAM coordinates with other company department managers and subcontractors for maintenance quality-related items. Oversees company Ground Operating Procedures for assigned contracts and routes them for approval. The QAM reports directly to the Director of Maintenance.
Job Responsibilities
· Ensure effective supervision and management of all Quality Assurance efforts in support of company requirements; throughout ATAC-Adversary Center of Excellence.
· Organize job assignments and priorities for Quality Assurance department personnel.
· Lead the Quality Assurance department in ensuring maintenance department functions comply with applicable regulations and requirements from the Federal Aviation Administration, Department of War, OEM, NAVAIR, and internal Quality Control and Safety Management System through effective QA processes.
· Manage the development and review of Maintenance Policies and Ground Operating Procedures (GOPs) through internal processes and coordination with Maintenance leadership.
· Coordinate with company Quality Control to aid with Quality Control audits.
· Act as the primary contact for the maintenance department for safety-related technical inquiries.
· Manage quality-related issues with customers, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
· Manage non-conforming product processes with Quality Control and suppliers/vendors.
· Prepare performance assessments of managed personnel.
· Any additional responsibilities as delineated by the Director of Maintenance.
· Travel required: 20%

SUMMARY
The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance processes, implement quality control measures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of protocols and procedures to ensure products are manufactured and assembled to the highest standards. Additionally, the Senior Quality Engineer will lead process improvement activities at supplier facilities to enhance product quality for Lycoming Engines. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Six Sigma methodologies, AS9100 standards, and FAA regulatory requirements. A deep understanding of advanced quality tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Value Stream Mapping is essential. In this role, the Senior Quality Engineer will play a critical part in maintaining and elevating the quality standards of our products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and FAA regulatory requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and improve product quality.
- Perform internal audits to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as AS9100.

About This Role
The Procurement Category Manager owns and is responsible for planning, executing, and managing the strategy and ensuring execution of a variety of high dollar, high complexity systems, materials and services in support of assigned product lines. This role will be responsible for supplier selection, negotiation and creation of long-term agreements and management of large and complex supplier programs.
Responsibilities
• Lead several supply chain sourcing projects concurrently across assigned product categories.
• Evaluate, analyze and assess trends and advancements in materials, technologies, sources of supply and the market to establish supply solutions.
• Assist in identifying, evaluating, and selecting potential suppliers/partners for systems, materials and services.
• Ensure proper assessments and audits in conjunction with Supplier Quality are accomplished to confirm qualifications and capabilities of potential subcontractors.
• Prepares requests for proposals, obtains proposals, supports cost proposals, prepares cost or price analysis and establishes negotiation strategy.
• Negotiates all aspects of high-value, major subcontracts, or long-term agreement in collaboration with programs, Engineering and Supplier Quality including scope of work, pricing and payments, and all contract terms and conditions.
• Prepares procurement documents in accordance with appropriate company and customer requirements, including contract, statements of work, technical specifications, data requirements and special provisions as required.
• Take appropriate actions to ensure contract compliance and performance, including coordination with other departments as well as effective communications with suppliers to assure their understanding of key issues, risks, objectives, and milestones of the program.
• Manage multiple supplier contracts to ensure performance and execution to contract requirements, including regular reviews.
• Collaborate with tactical procurement, planning, scheduling, engineering, supplier quality and operations to meet the needs of the business in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
