Textron Systems Electronic Systems designs and develops test and simulation hardware and software for Electronic Warfare (EW) applications. About this Role:
This position supports our A2PATS Family of Products. A2PATS Field Engineers play a vital role in the successful deployment, installation, and sustainment of our cutting-edge threat simulation systems. Your extensive experience and expertise in Radio Frequency (RF) and Electronic Warfare (EW) simulations will be crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our systems to meet Customer requirements. This position is based at our customer site in Manchester, New Hampshire. Occasional travel to other customer locations and to Textron Systems headquarters outside of Baltimore, Maryland may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment, installation, integration and sustainment of EW threat simulation systems at customer sites, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and industry best practices.
- Conduct comprehensive system testing, advanced troubleshooting, and rigorous performance evaluation of the equipment, effectively identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
- Provide expert-level on-site technical support for the system, guiding customers in system operation, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their unique requirements, leveraging your deep technical knowledge to provide strategic recommendations and deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct thorough site surveys and technical assessments, employing your expertise to determine optimal installation locations and system configurations for maximum performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, system designers, and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of our systems into customer environments.
- Stay at the forefront of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards related to RF, EW, and threat simulation, proactively integrating them into system designs and deployments.
- Assist and drive development of comprehensive technical documentation, including installation guides, user manuals, and advanced troubleshooting procedures, to empower customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and PM teams, providing valuable feedback from field experiences and customer interactions to drive product development and improvement.

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
Specialist in Structural and Welding Inspection and defect identification through NDT methods including Visual Inspection and Dye Penetrant Inspection to determine adherence to standards, specifications, and drawing requirements. Prior experience in aluminum welding preferred, with capability to detect defects in both large weldments and small, detailed parts. Experience with MIL-STD or AWS acceptance criteria required. Marine experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Approach assignments with a high ethical resolve, ensuring reputable standing with our onsite customers.
- Capable of discerning rejectable weld defects by grading in accordance with given acceptance criteria.
- Ability to implement NDT inspection methods in accordance with written procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process plans to determine product acceptability.
- Visual examinations by means of instruments, gauges, jigs, templates, or other measuring devices to include nondestructive test methods to ensure adherence to standards, specifications, drawing, etc.
- Experience conducting in-process weld inspections such as VT/PT of root/fill passes, backgouges. Etc.
- Generates Quality reports, completes Inspection Check Lists, nonconformance documents, calibration reports, x-ray, and other Quality documents/records as applicable to the specific area assigned.
- Adheres to all safety requirements, departmental instructions and TMLS Policies and Procedures.
- Interface directly with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers, as appropriate.
- Comfortable being audited on NDT Process adherence by Government customer.
- Performs any and all other duties assigned by management.

Summary
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Job Responsibilities
• Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
• Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
• Utilize AMS program
• Training of maintenance personnel
• Manage assigned maintenance programs
• Assist with coordination of detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs (as necessary)
• Obtain and maintain Detachment Lead qualification
• The Aircraft Mechanic troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls
• This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls
• This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections
• This mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
• Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects
• Additional responsibilities as delineated by Production Supervisor and Crew Chiefs
• Manage programs as assigned.

JOB SCOPE:
● Create and maintain detailed operational processes for parts, sub-assemblies, and engine build ensuring that mistake proofing techniques are incorporated into these processes.
● Utilization of CAD systems for the design, detail, and checking of simple to intermediate level jigs, fixtures, gauges, tools, and simple machines.
● Creation and maintenance of simple to intermediate level CNC programs for multiple axis machine tools including writing, editing, troubleshooting, and correcting tooling/programming problems.
● Tool designer owns process and program until proven out.
● Interface with numerous departments, including but not limited to, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Product Support, Materials, Procurement and Sales. Works across payrolls, functions and shifts to solve problems in a timely manner.
● Provide operational processes, designs, and programs in such a manner that complies with Lycoming processes and procedures to meet customer requirements.

About This Role
Under limited supervision, performs complex and diverse administrative tasks for contracts associated with government, commercial and international customers. In performing this role, the Sr. Contracts Assistant will:

About This Role

The candidate should be comfortable as a cognizant designer of complex printed circuit boards utilizing micro-processors & controllers, high efficiency power supply design, analog signal conditioning, sensors, and RF components. Electrical Engineers engage in a variety of technical projects of moderate scope including schematic capture and circuit card design, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware and firmware design and development, and embedded microcontroller design and development. Additionally, EEs are expected to create, maintain and follow Interface Control Documents (ICDs), specifications and test procedures for circuit card assemblies and system integration.

About This Role
A Sr Welder – Training Lead (Aluminum), under the direction of a Production Supervisor, leads and directs the individual’s training and development related to aluminum welding within MLS manufacturing processes and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts the aluminum welding training of new hires and transfers based upon the needs of the department to which the individual will be assigned
- Adheres to MLS manufacturing requirements, quality standards and core competencies in the preparation and delivery of quality instruction
- Maintain training curriculum while continually improving and developing the training program as necessary
- Pace instruction and vary delivery to meet different learning styles
- Provide appropriate and timely feedback to training participants
- Maintains clean, effective, and professional learning environment
- Maintains accurate records of attendance, progress of participants and reports the same in a timely manner to the Training Manager
- Completes weld certification documentation in coordination with Quality Control and delivers completed paperwork to weld engineer
- Stays current with MLS welding technology, processes, and equipment
- Be able to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and welding symbols as it pertains to MLS manufacturing
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.
